Lovely Wanaka Accomodation”
The view from the entrance of our room was splendid. You could walk to the town area which would be about 20-25 mins. We decided to drive instead. The cabin was great! Super clean and large for families. Kitchenette and toilet was stocked with necessities. So glad we picked two nights. One of the best accommodation across south island we had as budget travelers.

Great value for money ”
I stayed at Mt Aspiring hoilday Park with my husband and 2 young children in a family unit. The room had everything we needed, comfy bed and 2x bunks for the kids, kitchen, WiFi and TV. Was super handy having a playground close and a spa. Staff were so friendly! Great value for money. Would definitely go back.

Homely and comfy stay :)”
Stayed in early March and found the place spacious and kitchenette well equipped with cooking necessities. Just that first night kitchenette power socket had a short circuit, reported next morning but the receptionist didn't get it fixed when we went back that evening, reported again and rectified instantly, luckily the milk and juice we stored in the fridge were not spoilt ! Just that the 2 bedrooms layout a little weird, the 2nd bedroom door was inside the 1st bedroom. Our car was just parked in front of our apartment, very convenient.

Really good place to stay!”
Mt Aspiring surprised me! There is a hot tub which we have to make a reservation to be used between 11am until 8pm and in addition there is a swimming pool. The unit where we stayed was equipped with a microwave, kettle, stove, basic kitchen utensils and we had a private bathroom. It definitely exceeded my expectations!!

Good stay but very cold at night during winter”
Stayed here for 2 nights with my partner in June 2021. The park itself is situated 10 minute drive outside of Wanaka on the way to the Mount Aspiring national park. We stayed in a double room with shared bathroom. Lady who checked us in was very friendly. There is ample parking, good cooking and laundry facilities. Very clean facilities. Excellent unlimited fast wifi. The showers were powerful and warm. Unfortunately, the bedroom was absolutely freezing at night with a small heater beside the bed which didn’t really help. There were extra thick blankets which definitely helped. We were there during the depths of winter and I think there was an unusual antartic weather front but it really made it difficult to sleep with the coldness. Situated very close to Roys Peaks car park to start the trail which was great. Overall, this place would be perfect during summer but on this occasion the cold room really hampered our stay.

Wonderful Stay”
Stayed there for 6 nights in the cabin, 20 mins drive to treble cone ski and 10 minutes to the town. Hot Spa is superb after a whole day Snowboarding. :)

Budget accommodation in Wanaka”
After sleeping a few days in the car we were looking for a budget cabin nearby Wanaka, and it didn't disappoint at all. The room had a double bed and 3 single beds, in pair bunks. You need your own linen or pay an additional $10. In the kitchen you need your own cooking utensils. Shower is free though. Nice location, very close to Roy's Peak carpark. Would definitely stay again!
