Supply of tea, coffee, dishcloth, salt, pepper, laundry detergent, soap, shampoo, all things that every other accomodation has had. The clothes dryer had someones washing in it!

Main bed was really soft and springy my husband who has a bad back had to get a single bed off the bunks and put on the floor. There was no tea or coffee or shampoo, some basics might have been good especially for the first day after arriving late we had no way to make a tea or coffee in the am. For the price those items might have been good. neighbours also played loud music often till 1am

All was great except there was no coffee, tea and milk on arrival. Plus there was no soap.

The location was amazing, the view was amazing.

The only issue is during the heat of summer the upstairs lounge area gets crazy crazy hot inside, we opened up the doors and things but the air flow was minimal and the heat was suffocating. The air con was in the bedrooms downstairs (but that area was actually quite cool without the a/c. If there was a heat pump (a/c) in the upstairs lounge area that would make this place next level.

No central heating so quite cold in some rooms and on arrival after a day out, but oil heaters available.

We loved the location and the easy walk to town. The place was perfect for a family. The house would be an amazing property to stay in winter. Views were spectacular.

We stayed in Summer and it was extremely hot. There was no air condition upstairs in the property even though the description said the property had air-con. The air-con was only on the bottom floor with bedrooms and did not service upstairs at all. The house has amazing views because of the windows but if you have them open with no screens you get eaten alive with sand flies. It was terrible. The heat in the living area was so bad that we had to go to bed to get back into the aircon. The third bedroom has two sets of bunks and the room is not big enough for four beds. It was extremely squashie in this room and not comfortable at all. I would not stay in the house again in summer but the location would be amazing in winter.

Loved the home. It’s so beautiful and furnished very well and to a high standard. The comfortable bed in the master suite, the furnishings in the lounge room and the view were all fabulous. This place has everything you need for an enjoyable and comfortable holiday.

Paying over NZ$1000 for a 65hr stay in dirty home made this a bad deal. On the face of it, the home is so beautiful and has been very well thought out by the owners, but I’m sure even they would be gutted to see their home in this dirty state. The kitchen, including plates, pots, utensils etc, the floors, the walls, everything needs a thorough clean as it’s obviously been neglected. Almost everything I pulled out of the kitchen cupboards needed a clean before we could use it. I wore socks to keep my feet clean because the floor was that dirty and sticky. We had whitetail spiders in the bedrooms and lounge, one in the master ‘bed’ ruined the stay completely, and there was no fly spray to kill any of them. There were webs in all rooms so we felt very uncomfortable for the rest of our visit, as I didn’t want to do ‘all’ of the cleaning on our short 3 day stay. We were given 4 bath towels for 3 of us for our entire stay, so I had to request more although was told that’s not what normally happens. I rang the number provided on arrival, as well as text, but I didn’t get a reply. By chance a worker turned up to the house next door while we were waiting, and she said the number provided isn’t the one they use anymore and that’s why no one replied. It seems the light cleaning being done at this point, is no where near sufficient enough to clean up the mess of others after each stay, and I assume will only deteriorate more over time. I believe for accommodation advertised as ‘luxury’, the provided service by the company looking after this property needs an overhaul to improve the stay for others.
