Perfect beach front , wonderful staff and best Thai food”
Me and my gf plan to hop around beach and restaurants but ended up doing it all here. It's the best Thai food I ever tasted just order any kind. The beach is few steps away from table, massage bed and long bench. Super nice beach. Amazing sunrise view . Meow meow the supervisor was helpful and friendly so does the team . Best massage and great happy hour deal. All you need is here.

I love the location just at the beachfront. Best view of sunrise! Do call their staff to pick u up at the immigration centre as the distance between these 2 spots are quite far. Prepare extra cash though for 1000THB deposit as if you booked via Agoda, card is not accepted. You can find Halal foods nearby if you are Muslim like me. Recommended for budget travel!

A 10 seconds walk from a pristine beach and stunning turquoise waters. Good snorkeling right off of the beach. Great value for money with large ungalows. Did not want Aircon and it was not needed. Very cool at night. Very helpful staff who collected us from the boat and delivered us back there at the end of the stay. Would definitely stay there again.

Nice place..just walk from pataya beach to zanom sunrise beach n very near distance to walking street. But at night had a lot mosquito. Must use hammock to have a good sleep at night..

We staed there for 4 night with 2 small kids (2 and 4 years old). it was really lovly place just steps away from beach. the staff was really nice. the rooms were cleaned each day/fresh towels provided each day. nice hammack outide. Breakfast was good. a/c worked well. I read a lot about different beached in Ko Lipe but this one and Sunset beach are most suitable with kids. Pataya beach was full of boats. We loved our stay in Zanom and in Ko Lipe. Definiatly would stay again. WiFi so so. in restaurant/reception was ok but we didnt have much issues with that. recomenned to all. Mosquito nets abouve each bed. made a difference as there was plenty of mosqitos but hey you are on islands :P

Good stay but rooms could do with a little TLC”
We enjoyed staying at Zanom. They help with your bags upon arrival and offer you a nice cold juice as you check in. They also offer a transfer service to the ferry or another place on the island when you check out. The huts are cute. A great size. They have aircon (or fan), a kettle (but no coffee sachets) and fridge. The only downside is that even in air con rooms there are holes around the door and in the bathroom which consequently allow easy access for mosquitoes to get in. Therefore you must sleep under a mosquito net. This made the stay a bit less enjoyable and relaxing. If Zanom could plug these holes and put mosquito grates in the bathroom, it would help a lot. Look out for the mosquito-zapping racquets they provide though - very helpful! The huts have lovely patio areas with a hammock which are nice to relax on or hang out your wet clothes. The location is wonderful! You get a free beach towel and can lie on their sun-loungers on the beach just in front of their restaurant. The staff are chilled but attentive and have a good sense of humour! There are adorable and incredibly friendly kittens, cats and dogs in and around the complex so you’ll be able to enjoy lots of strokes and cuddles should you want them.

Only steps away from the water this a very cute small resort on the calm side of Koh Lipe. The fan bungalow we had was a bit warm and mosquitos tend to be annoying but when you see the water just outside that is all forgotten.

Private & budget place to stay with a min walk to sunrise beach”
Stay at fan bangalo for budget trip with private room yet able to access sunrise beach within a min walk. Lack toiletries with only budget soap and shampoo. No hair dryer provided. No safe box/fridge. Set of breakfast provided but too much oil used for scrambled egg. Full of mosquitoes in the area but mosquito net provided is quite effective for night sleep. Overall budget stay in a fan bangalo is recommended for those who wanted to access sunrise beach in the morning. However, it's not recommended for those who wanted to spend time in room all day as it tends to be very hot, stuffy, and full of mosquitoes.

Value for money, steps away to beach, friendly staff”
The staffs are friendly, my kids were reluctant to go and on the last day, they waited for 1 of the male staff name Aki as throughout our stay, he attended to our food order and was extremely friendly, even caught hermit crab for them. Our room was just steps away from the beach, we could sit at the restaurant and watched our kids play. For the money we spend, I would say it serve our purpose, the room was ok and they clean and change towel daily and also top up bottle waters, since it was a wooden room so it look old and same to the toilet but they were clean. Yes there were lots of mosquito but we make sure we quickly close the door and put the mosquito net at night, so far we were ok. Location of the hotel also nearby to eatery, 7-11 and the walking street. Will definitely come back again. My kids miss the place now.

Could be nicer if owners cared about the resort and spent some $$$ on upgrade”
I spent 4 nights in this resort with my husband and 5 yo son . I have booked this resort because of the close proximity to the beach as I did not want to walk with son from hotel to the beach every time he wanted to go . Is like 20 meters and the beach was beautiful with breeze all day around , walking street ,shops 10 min walk . The A/C room was ok BUT the bathroom was the most disgusting br I have seen in Asia . I have not used the shower and used the hose outside the hut which was much better . I wish they spent some money on upgrading it as it is really needed . I would return but will choose fan room instead as it looks much better than A/C . is also 40 dollars cheaper . If you want luxury you will have to add at least 50% $ for resorts on same beach , which I think is not worth when u outside all day . You will see mosquitos , lizards , friendly dogs , roaches everywhere on this island so do not blame it on this resort . If u can get over the nasty bathroom then go for it :)

Originality of Lipe”
The resort has long been run by a Lipe’s original family whom granted the land from the authority. The bungalows were made of woods. As some have been running down their roofs were replaced by thin metal sheets covered with dry leaves, presumably as a result of cost consciousness. I had feeling of more originality around than look-and-feel of modern decoration. Staff and breakfasts were good. The walking street is a just a 5-min walk. Guests can sun-bath and swim in the sea right in front of the resort. It was a good value for money.

Pros : staff really showed Good empathy for example 1) as i was playing with my kbaby and was holding his pamper as i dint bring Any bag, one of the staff gave me a plastic bag! 2) i want to cut the mangos i bought and they lent me the kitchen knife! 3) my machine drop info the seawater and the staff helped bt puting the machine in the rice to dried It up! Cons : no google available for snorkeling Will definitely stay here again!
