Cheap Private Room”
If you're stuck because you cannot take the bus (like me), you should definitely stay the night over in this property. However, please note: there's no drinking water (or haven't seen it), there's no Wifi onsite (possible to get wifi from another place 2 minutes walk away 24 hours) It's just a good place if you can't take the jetty or the bus to stay the night.

Cheap for a reason”
Paid RM52 for a night stay before going to the island the next day. Arrived there at 3am, staff still around, smoking in the reception area. Our room is the biggest one, but man, its very simple. Just 3 beds, the floor is very sandy. If u just want to spend a few hours sleeping there, and dont mind the dirty environment, then its really cheap.

Horrible but you know it”
The hotel is really poor. I think it was the worst mattress I ever sleep in. You can literally feel the metallic pieces inside of it. The common bathroom is completely broken so it’s impossible to use the men toilet or shower. But you paid only 30rm so it’s the cheapest option to spend a night before joining the Perenthian Island. There is a free parking in front of the hotel and the jetty is less than 5min walk from it.

Even though it is cheap, does not mean they can compromise with the cleanliness of the premise. Not clean at all, the rooms were awful, the bed sheets were dirty.

Acceptable”
The owner is a scammer. He said he can buy the ticket for me, because it was really late when I arrived I said ok and paid. In the morning he was gone, there was no one in the whole Guesthouse, he said he will give it back to me when I am back from the perhentian, but guess what he wasn't there too. So don't go there, he scams people!

Homeless shelter...”
This “place” made me feel uncomfortable and I struggled to sleep... The entire building seems to be a deserted place used by homeless as a squat. I’ve never seen such a bedroom. Walls are made of carton paper and coated with moisture. The “cleanliness” is a concept that hadn’t the opportunity to arrive at this place yet. And when you dare to lay on the bed and close an eye, surprise, there is no glass on the window and the experience of living like a homeless on the street becomes reality... Not to mention that I woke up at 5 a.m. due to a very weird neighbour that mumbled the same sentence for exact 1 hour! The shared bathroom was so disgusting I was afraid getting sick just by washing my hands. Besides the building, the only goal of the owner is to sell boat tickets to the Perhentian islands. I chose this place because it was cheap. However, 23 MYR / 5€ a twin bed room was not that cheap when you can just sleep on a park bench ... In brief, a unique experience!

Look like drug addicts room..its dirty and smelly”
Im checking out right after checked in.there are better place to sleep around the place. Cant even breath since the smell of urine get into your room..the wall full of stupid words in the room and its annoy me while looking at it.agoda pls remove this add.the reception lady make me wait for 40 min just to check in.

The location is near to the Jetty Kuala Besut. This guest house is suitable for travellers to overnight before entering Perhentian Island. Easy access to food, bus station and the jetty.

Located near the Jetty, located near the intercity bus terminal, located near food places. Owner manager was very helpful with information and consideration for the traveller. (The above scoring system is a bit odd i.e. no n/a category, Yaudin has no restaurant)

Suitable only for a day transit ”
it was the start of a school break, and at the last minute i have to find a guesthouse for my transit before I leave for Perhentian Island the next morning. There were very limited choice of hotel/guesthouse that were available online, and apparently this place still have few last rooms available at a discounted price. For RM25 per night it was definitely a bargain, as I just need a place to sleep. Since I only reached the place at 12midnight after a 13 hours drive it make it even easier to just ignore the guesthouse condition and just sleep. The bathrooms are on sharing basis with the other guests, but seperated for ladies and gents. Do bring your own towel and toiletrieS. I have definitely lowered my expectation before I came there, the room is very simple, just two beds, and thats it. I wont stay here if it was for more than 13 hours, but for the price, I'll just shut my eye and take whatever I can get.

STAY IF NEEDED”
the permisses are really good and the location fabulous, just in the bus terminal. It needs maintenance and i couldn-t have a shower at night because wc was closed. I-ve been told to go to the public washrooms 100m away from the Guest House. REALLY???? YES, REALLY !!!!

cheap but worst service”
u get what u pay. the room is okay for the value that u pay. but as a female solo travel, u need to be extra careful if u planning to stay here. as for me, i was traumatized a bit coz at 5am in the morning a guy claimed as the boatman from that guesthouse/yaudin travel blabla kept calling me as he got my phone num. from reception counter. I already told him I already bought this on package from the other travel agent and he said okay then blabla. I thought it already over and I continued my sleep. suddenly at 5.45am he knock my room and ask me rm50 as he want to borrow it. I was like what the f* but I kept calm and told him that I dont have cash but he still kept pushing me to transfer the money to him. it was my biggest nightmare as he keep knocking my room several times after that. so my tips and suggestion is dont stay here guys! lol

Good location only”
My friend and I booked a room for 2 but the room they gave fit for 5 people. It sounds like a good thing but the rooms are very dirty and at one time there was a very big cockroach came out of the hole in the ceiling and it left my friend couldnt sleep well at night. The price for that kind of state should've been way less than what we have paid for as we would be better off sleeping on a camp. The room we ended up with didnt have a proper lock as it was broken and they used a long piece of metal rod that goes in the wall instead to lock the door. With the amount of money they receive from customers they should be able to fix some of the things that are not working so that people don't leave the place terrified.

Last resort...”
We made the wrong booking date and the host graciously allowed us to move it with no charge, but the place was quite unexpected. Huge hole in the ceiling of our room and looked like something fell through. Bathrooms smelt quite bad and were not clean at all. Toilets didn't flush so you needed to dump water from a bucket every time. Pros were the working fan, hot and cold water dispenser, and most of all, the central location for food and the port nearby. Also, the receptionist was nice and helpful. This was simply a transit stay so it was seriously a last resort for the cheap price!

Inaccurate location”
It is really the lowest quality of accommodation I have ever had. Very well located I have to give a five star...but the location on the map seems to be at the buss station but is in front of the jetty fiori the ferry. So we stopped to let people down at jetty and the I continued to buss station, to have to take taxi again to jetty....3 Rd time location points are completely off, so our verify.
