I can’t wait to go back!”
We made our reservation for two queen beds with a river view. We somehow ended up with a corner room and two walls of windows. The view was unreal. I couldn’t go to sleep because I didn’t want to waste any of my time in that room! The decor was modern and beautiful. It’s the perfect location for the river walk, Millenium Park, and we walked to Navy Pier. We stayed in 3014 and my mom stayed in 3814. Both were corner rooms with the most incredible views. Valet parking was $67, but worth it. Staff was kind and accommodating. I have 5 kids and I wouldn’t hesitate to go back with them. If you’re on the fence, this one is definitely worth the $.

What a deal!”
This hotel had a great view and location!!!! We could easily walk everywhere. Close to the Navy Pier, Wills tower, The Art Museum. It’s across the river from the Trump Tower(very high end!) This hotel was clean and the staff was extra friendly. It was the perfect place for my daughter and I to stay for the weekend. We caught a great deal on agoda.

Everything from checking in to checkout out was wonderful!! Everyone is so nice and helpful and the room was very clean. Great location for downtown activities and only a few blocks from 4 “L” lines. We can’t wait to go back.

Gorgeous room”
Had never heard of Sonesta hotels, having been a long-time Marriott guest. Booked due to a great deal on agoda and I’m so glad I did! The room is gorgeous. Well-appointed, large, and very clean. Robes and slippers included! Highly recommended.

I always stay at the Royal Sonesta when in Chicago. Yesterday's stay was great as usual. Helpful staff. Very reasonable price. This time we got a corner room on the 38th floor - fantastic views. One matter which I mentioned to Reception when checking out was the bath - the base was very slippy and one could easily have fallen and injured oneself. There was no bath mat and the base was not ribbed. However I will stay there the next time I am in Chicago.

The location was excellent but parking a rental car was a challenge and expensive. The hotel is within walking distance to many dining hotspots. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean but without maid service. That was okay with me because I don’t require daily service. All the staff observed Covid-19 masking and distancing. Just wish the irresponsible guests would have. I would seriously consider staying at the Royal Sonesta Riverside again.

My stay started off rocky. We were given a room that was not clean and walked in to a bed that was unmade. After realizing their mistake the promptly got us another room. The room was decent with a great view but small. The shower was amazing and spacious and clean. If you turn the heat down or off you could not hear it. We were not aware of the pre-order for housekeeping rule and couldn't have our room cleaned on one of the nights during our stay. The location is perfect and we did not need a car for anything. I also was unaware of a "destination fee" that charges you 20 dollars per day for free wifi (which I did not use) and two bottles of room temperature water. In knowing these fees up front I probably would've kept searching to compare prices. I did appreciate how accomdoating the front desk was when disputing charges and relaying my dissatisfaction.

Great hotel with a very central and safe location. Our room was clean and very spacious, the bathroom was huge. Very well equipped with mini fridge and safe and amenities . Only down side is there is construction going on downstairs and there is no restaurant facilities, and room service is limited and also time wise only available during the morning and early afternoon. Other than that, it was a great stay

Great location and views. There was remodeling going on so some amenities were not available, valet parking, restaurant closed but didn’t interrupt our trip. Staff was friendly and helpful. Loved the new renovations in our room.
