Chill budget beach hotel ”
Not much around here- a few tour guides told us that it was far out of town but only seemed to take 10-15 min by car. Relaxing little spot with a nice restaurant/beach bar but for rooms you get what you pay for. Wifi or hot water didn’t work but still enjoyed the stay. Staff was helpful when I needed it!

Under $40 AUD, staff are sincerely lovely, feels like home, has a Reggae band some afternoons, great”
The rooms are not perfect, however the sheets are clean, bed comfortable and not on the floor has aircon and all rooms have ocean view and balcony. Staff are lovely, kind, sincere, hardworking. Beer is cold, coffee is good. For the price you cannot complain.

Ten minutes from the noise of town”
A basic but comfortable hotel on the beach. I would return.

Sincere friendly staff, live Reggae band some nights, good food and coffee”
Clean sheets, air conditioner, outdoor bathroom. Every room has ocean view, is a homely place. Is not right in town so is quiet, get discounts on dive courses if you stay here, a lot of companies start basics of dive course here. Can get a boat to take you anywhere from right out the front on the pier

Too overpriced for this place”
The good thing is: on the beach, nice food at the restaurant, nice live music. Comparing to the prices in the places we stayed during the trip it was the highest one. But the worst one! Rooms r very old, walls r not painted, i was checking if its dirty or its a mold. Toilet is not flashing, just stays a bowl with a water next to it. Next day they didn’t have a beach towel, as they said, no clean ones. Hard to get a transfer, just thinking of money, but our driver didn’t even know where to bring us, i had to use my gps to guide him. There r places for expensive ofcourse. But in july when we visited several islands in Indonesia we moved from one place to another almost every day, sometimes in cheaper places was super high standard. Here when i entered my room i was shocked and felt dirty. Only positive - a beach. That’s it!

Great potential, but...”
Located 3 km outside Labuan Bajo. Rooms weren't really clean, bathroom is not really nice. But the view from our house was really good, also the atmosphere down in the restaurant.

Oh dear!”
Lovely location, really charming staff, but that’s all the good news. WIFI not working (for a long time apparently). Bathroom usually soaking with leaking pipes, but no water at all one night, no electricity the next. Sheets and towels stained etc. Needs a complete refit/investment by the management.

Good for a day”
Location is perfect.. Bar at the property is excellent. Bar staff are friendly and trustworthy. Hotel staff also pleasant and do as directed to help out. However, facilities are very primitive. Modern facilities such as shower and toilet are bit concern.

Not worth the money”
Not worth the money!! Staff is friendly, but veeery slow and incapable to run a hotel. The rooms are dirty and don’t look like a hotel room, the shower is basic and you don’t have warm water. The toilet flushes badly and you have to open a tap before use. The next morning, we woke up to realize that we didn’t had tap water and water to flush the toilet. After we asked the staff, it was fixed quickly. Next to that, the food is quite good and you can have dinner and drinks with a beautiful sunset (but a bit overpriced).

Acceptable”
Moved room three times due to not being clean and that is being polite. Settled into room only to discover the toilet was not functional which was rectified with a bucket of water and scoop to flush. Bar/ Restaurant run out of supplies. Waited for breakfast for over an hour as staff would not get out of bed, coffee served as our driver for tour arrived. Decided to do two overnight tour. Upon return staff could not find key to our room so we were moved again. Settling in for the night only to discover the shower was being repaired.Arghhh. Long wait for breakfast again as staff had to go to market first. Lunch was over an hour and a half wait perhaps they needed to go to the market to get supplies. Organised resort for transfer to airport but 2 x vehicles would not start so we had to wait for a driver/vehicle to be arranged. The best thing about this place was the view.

If you’re a bit disappointed by the charms of Labuan Bajo, you couldn’t do better than head to Waecicu Beach Inn. Just a taxi ride up the coast, yet worlds away from Bajo. It’s the perfect place to spend a few relaxing days by the beach. It’s the perfect location for snorkelling and diving as well as enjoying the beaches. We stayed in a very pleasant bungalow with our own terrace, just 20 m away from the beach. The staff are very friendly (the manager event lent us his own snorkling mask!!) and more than happy to look after you. I can also highly recommend the day trip (organised by the hotel) to Rinca island to see the Komodo dragons. Highly recommend this place!

Excellent”
This hotel is a good value for Labuan Bajo, where prices are high for what you get in return. This is a new hotel and they are still working on some areas. The staff was fantastic! They were very helpful and they were able to arrange reasonable priced shuttles to town and the airport. Great breakfast. Nice beachfront location, it was peaceful after staying in town for two days prior. They had some kayaks that I would have liked to have used, but they told me another guest never returned the paddles :(

Excellent”
We had a great holiday at Waecicu Beach Inn. The accommodation isn't the greatest, but the beds are clean and comfortable. Only cold water showers are available, but this was refreshing on a hot afternoon. The staff are friendly and very willing to help. What we enjoyed the most is the lovely beach and calm seas that provided a very safe snorkeling and swimming environment for my two boys (aged 8 and 10). I will happily return for another holiday!

Disappointing stay on a beautiful beach ”
This place had its own private beach which was absolutely stunning. But other than that, the staff were not very friendly or helpful and transport to the main area of Labuan Bajo was pricey. They did have a shuttle bus service (not free) but very handy when wanting to go into the center. The best thing about this place is the view and the beach. Rooms were nice and had excellent views but steps up can get tiring after a while.
