Perfect cozy homestay”
This homestay is truly one of the best. A little bit off the beaten path, but with a relaxing and authentic atmosphere in return. Surrounded by water buffalo and rice fields you really get to dive in to a real Vietnamese village. Hammocks set up so you can relax and enjoy the surroundings, aswell as activities such as hiking and boat trips on the local lake are possibilities. The stay itself is really great value for money, although the family dinner is a bit steep. This is absolutely worth it though, after trying several different homestay-dinners we found this one to be the best one. Rice wine is bottomless, and they will make sure you know! We stayed here both on our way up to Ha Giang from Hanoi and on the way down. It was such a good time there really was no other choice than to come back, and it is located pretty perfectly for when you are going between those cities. Would recommend to anyone goin to the loop or just passing by.

I stayed in the private room in the homestay, and it was one of the most memorable stays in Vietnam! It was clean but there wasn't hot water. One of the neighborhood dogs actually led us to the beautiful nearby lake. If you have the funds, the boat ride would probably be really nice (400k). The dinner was fantastic and fresh, and the happy water was constantly flowing. Breakfast available at an extra cost. Samsung and her family were such great hosts! Definitely come here!!

This is an expensive restaurant rather than a dorm. ”
It's 150,000 vietnam dong for dinner. The guest and owner eat and drink together in the guest room. Anyone who doesn't ask for dinner can see a drink in the same room. It is impossible to relax during their drinking time. The host is noisier than the guest. I've never seen a homestay like this. There is a great deal of discrimination against those who don't ask for dinner.

It was good for two nights in VuLinh Family-Homestay”
I stayed in VuLinh Family-Homestay for two night with my wife and three chilldren. Homestay family is very frendly and kind. I could have vietnamese tipycal agricultural foods a lot and feel vietnam's rural atmosphere, had a magnificent scenery with boarding family's boat. And I didn't have any problems to communicate in english because they can speak english well. Visit VuLinh Family-Homestay !! I recommend. You would not be disappointed.

Beautiful place in the countryside and beautiful family! They made us feel welcome from the very first second till the good bye. The family dinner they offered was a lot of fun with delicious food, lots of rice wine and great conversations. I would highly recommend staying here!
