Good Hostel, Very Nice Staff!”

I have 2 days and 1 night in Ho Chi Minh city, when I arrive at 11a.m but the time to check-in is 2p.m. Staff of hostel checked my bed was already and clean so that I can check-in early and have a short time to relax before enjoy Sai Gon. The dorm room was good , soft bed and good AC. The price included breakfast, I like breakfast in CLCC hostel, they prepare fruits, sandwich, eggs, jams, tea... and you can do it yourself. Hostel is near bus station, near Ben Thanh market and beer street (Bui Vien street). Definitely come back!

If you're not looking for a party hostel, but you do want to meet new people, Vitamin Smiles is the perfect place for you. The happy hour is a great initiative to make friends, usually we had a few beers there and then went out for dinner and drinks together. The location was awesome, close to everything but not in a noisy area. They also have different breakfast options and the staff was very helpful with the tours and the transportation. I stayed in a 12-people room and also a single room, and I was very happy with both. I would definitely go back!

Vitamin Smiles was excellent. The staff are phenomenal and if there is anything you need they can point you (as well as take you, if time allows) in the right direction. DO NOT skip breakfast and ALWAYS order the traditional Vietnamese breakfast - you can eat toast and eggs in your home country. I HIGHLY recommend Vitamin Smiles and I'm excited to book with them again.

A REALLY GREAT HOSTEL”

Location: The hostel's location was really great. It is near backpackers area. Restaurants, travel agencies, and bus stations were just a minute walk. Room: 4/5 Stayed at their superior double on the 5th floor which is where they serve breakfast. The room was nice, clean, and big enough for two people. It is exactly the same as what is shown on photos. If only the water pressure was high then i would give it a 5/5. Staff: Their service was exceptional! I love everyone here. Especially Vy and the guy with eyeglasses who are very attentive to our needs. Also the three other ladies who were really nice. The staff let us leaves our bags at the hotel so we can go on a city tour and lets us take a bath before leaving for Mui Ne. Went back to hotel to book another room we could stay for a night because we missed our bus to Phnom Penh. But sadly, no rooms were available but they were REALLY nice enough to let us stay with them while we search for another. I also loved the breakfast.

The location was great for exploring Ho Chi Minh. The staff was all excellent. When came time to leave, they even helped me book Grab to the airport.

Great Hostel with Amazing Staff”

The staff at this hostel were amazing. They were very accommodating, friendly, spoke English well, and quickly remembered our names. The staff helped us arrange a tour to Cu Chi Tunnels. They also provided a fast turnaround time for our laundry. We were able to arrange an overnight bus with the staff very easily and they provided us with all the essential information before our departure. We were able to shower before leaving to board our overnight bus (after checkout). The staff would also recommend places to eat nearby and the cost of the room included a great breakfast, served by amazing staff!

What a wonderful stay at Vitamin . The staff are amazing and made our stay in HCMC an absolute pleasure. it’s a combination of modern style and old style. I'm sure that it will be perfect. Easy walk to areas around places drink cafe. Nothing complains about the place!

Lovely staff”

Not really a social hostel and a bit more run down than it seems on the pictures, BUT the amazing staff totally makes up for that! They were literally the sweetest and helped me whenever they could! The view from the rooftop is really nice and the breakfast served every morning is incredible. I think the hostel is perfect if you want to experience the true Vietnamese culture and get to know the Vietnamese staff instead of meeting other travelers. ❤️

Stayed here for 5 nights. The staff truly went out of their way to try and accommodate us during our stay. The rooms were nice, however the internet connection was a bit unstable at times. Would however recommend this hostel to anyone. Be sure to try the local dish served during breakfast at the hostel.

It was very nice experience for choosing CLCC Hostel. The staff is very very nice and really helpful. The place is very strategic, it quite close to tourist spots. The room is very clean and comfort

Quite ok”

I was with a friend during our trip. Staffs are nice.Bunk beds, room, toilet and bathroom are good. However, 2 lockers don't have keys and they don't have spare. They asked us first if we can provide padlock but we told them they should be the one to provide one which they did. Staff slightly mishandled my friend's phone (power button was removed) when we need to change the sim.Good thing we found the button and was able to put it back in. They also required us to leave our passports with them until we check out which we became hesitant coz we find it not safe traveling without our passports on hand. Good thing we only stayed 1 day 2 nights that's why we didn't have enough time to reason out with them.Entire place is ok and comfortable, but I think they should improve more on customer satisfaction.

Mainly clean Hostel but there are far better options”

Pro: Room and bed was clean and comfortable. Great rooftop. Breakfast included. Central location. Good Cu Chi Tunnel & Mekong Delta Tour booked via the hostel. Contra: no lockers for the backpack only for small belongings like wallet etc. Stuff was not welcoming and seemed to be annoyed. There was not a lot going in in the hostel. Happyhour and rooftop was empty. Would not recommend for solo travelers because it's hard to meet people.

Uncomfortable”

There were many cockroaches in our room even we were on the 4th floor (and even the staffs kept saying "no way cockroaches in that room!") It even had many ants in our bed that they kept biting us, it's hurt and we couldn't sleep! I know it can't be helped in Saigon because of hot and humid weather, but at least if the staffs tried to clean the house it would be better. The trash was not cleaned up in 5 days we stayed. Exactly they didn't touch anything in our room in 5-day-long. Even the cheap price does not worth it. I think it's because of the policy of the hostel. Moreover it was very noisy at the rooftop, guests kept talking and partying 'till morning didn't mind others were taking their rest. Although the staffs were friendly. Breakfast was good (bread, jam and eggs). The rooftop was nice. But I will not stay here next time.

Clean and Brand New Building”

I love the fact that they allow late check inn since I arrive at the airport after midnight. They open the door even if you go home late. The staff is just on standby. Breakfast was Ok. The roofdeck where the food was served was quite homey. The beds and rooms were comfy and brand new and very spacious for hostel standards. The staff were also very nice. The place was clean since they have you leave shoes outside. Would definitely book here again.

Bang for the buck”

Lied on the more quiet side of the hustle-bustle Backpacker neighborhood, the place is ideal for your stay to explore the city of Saigon. Friendliest staff ever :)

great people, great place to stay”

We stayed here for 2 nights in a private room. The room was very clean, bedding was good and all basic things that you need. It is easily located with daily need shops nearby and close yet far from noise of walking street. Staff is wonderful and very helpful. They can help you book any tour or recommend you for things to do. Had free beer in evening in the reception area with other folks. The newly opened massage shop next to it is highly recommended.
