Convenient location in the heart of Paris”
Very convenient location. Just 8 mins walk to galeries Lafayette. We stayed here on recommendation from our friends who came here on honeymoon last year! Loads of cafes and restaurants nearby. Not necessary to have breakfast at the hotel as the nearby Midore bakery is a better deal. From Paris CDG airport, take Roissy bus EUR10 per person to Opera stop and walk to the hotel. We enjoyed our stay particularly because of the convenient location and friendly staff! Good hotel for the price you pay to stay in central Paris!

Great location, quiet, compact & clean, no frills accommodation ”
The location is the winner. The room was typically Parisian scale = tiny but adequate for a 3 night city break. A good, clean bed, new mattress, decent shower, air con and quiet street for a good rest. I asked in advance for a quiet room and was given floor 3 facing the road. At that height could hear no traffic sounds. Thick glazed modern windows block out street noise and the aircon is silent. Black out curtains aid a restful space. If your intention is to spend all day out and about, returning to a decent shower and good bed to sleep in, Villathena is a suitable pick. If you want lots of room to lounge around in, a big American style bathroom, forget it, this isn’t for you. I am a ‘no frills’ kind of traveller so Villathena suites me fine. Was I bothered that the bathroom door didn’t close properly, that the front desk staff were a bit hit or miss or that the shower tended to soak the bathroom floor? No, but if it would bother you, pick somewhere else. For me Villathena was great.

Exceptional”
We stayed in one of the higher category rooms. Excellent staff who are accommodating and friendly. Very clean property with exceptionally comfy bed - and we can be very particular about these things! Location is great as only about 1mile away from 1st arrondissement. Modern facilities and good toiletries provided. We usually stay in larger chains so that we have assurance of a degree of standard but Villathena was better than expected.

A great find”
I got an online deal on this hotel, and it exceeded expectations. We paid a small fee (10 euro) for an upgrade and got a very large room by Paris standards...it even had a bath! Breakfast was served on a cosy area, but was good quality and reasonably priced. Only draw back was being on the first floor, when we opened our windows cigarette smoke would waft in.

Great location and good price.”
it's close to printemps and galeries lafayette. you could put back your shopping bags into hotel in 5 mins after shopping. besides, it's also close to saint-lazare train station. you could take a rer to airport or subway to anywhere in paris. one thing need to be noticed. the roome's sound insulation is not good. you could easily hear the sound of footsteps on the corridor. the housekeeping will work on 8:00 a.m. you will be waked up by their working sound. overall, the price is good and room is comfortable. only thing needs to concern is the sound insulation in the morning.

Great stay in a beautiful city”
The hotel is a lovely small hotel with friendly staff, situated close to shops, the opera, the metro, tourist attractions and cafes. We appreciated the air conditioning as the temperatures soared into the high 30s during our stay. The rooms were clean and had been updated but were very small. The bathrooms were modern and clean and the beds comfortable. There was no tea or coffee making facilities in the rooms but free tea and coffee was available downstairs between 2 and 6 pm. The street where the hotel was located was surprisingly quiet given its location. Highly recommended for visitors wanting a centrally located base to explore Paris.

Good find! ”
We found this hotel good value as it was clean and new. Boyfriend and i like SLH types of hotels and this fits perfectly. Was 5 min away from St Lazarre from Metro (which is very central in Paris). It is also only 10 mintues walk to the Opera area where Printemps and Gallaries Lafayette was located. Very good for shopping! Hotel staff was also helpful in keeping luggages etc. Cons: Rooms were a bit small and area is a bit quiet in the night with no bustling restaurants etc.

Awesome hotel”
Great location. Nearby metro stations and restaurants are a great convenience for traveling around city and dining. Room is of reasonable size and is kept clean. Generally the hotel is in great shape. One thing to note is during my last full day in Paris my room suddenly needs a repair. The staffs act quickly and swiftly by notifying me and putting me into another room (a bigger room!) to ensure the least disruption possible. Thank you very much!

Improvement of deposit system ”
The cancellation of the approval of the 50 euro bill, which has been approved by Deposit, has yet to be confirmed. Other hotels ask for credit cards for the deposit but do not approve the payment. Villathena, however, uses the cumbersome method of paying 50 euros when check in for a deposit and canceling the credit card when check out. Three other hotels in France used during trip, but only the Villatena can be cancelled after approval, and the cancellation cannot be confirmed after four days. It is likely that improvements will be needed.

Great, Clean Hotel!”
My Fiancee and I loved staying at this hotel. The surrounding area is wonderful and there is plenty to do within walking distance. The hotel itself is very clean, although the rooms were a little small, its perfect for a couple on vacation, who will spend most days exploring Paris. The rooms are very clean, and the beds were extremely comfortable. We loved our stay.

Very good location and excellent staff”
Except the constraint on space with an additional bed, we really have no other issues with Villathena. Everything else was almost perfect.

Excellent Customer Service and Comfy Room!”
Friendly and approachable hotel staff and willing to assist us in many ways. Great location- about 10 mins walking distance from the main shopping area (Galaries Lafayette & Printemps) , also close to Metro station Auber & Opera. However, the breakfast is so-so and a little bit disappointing. Overall is Good.

Very good”
We stayed 3 nights with 1 children. They gave us a bigger room with a small balcony which is nice. The room is bright and clean with modern decor. Our bathroom is big with bath tub but the broken floor tiles were not replaced. Area located is not high-end but close to Metro and convenient to go anywhere. Good value for money. I'll choose this hotel again next time I visit Paris.

Very Small Rooms”
Lovely hotel within 30 min stroll to most attractions (sometimes less obviously) It is VERY small tho. So everything is tightly packed together in your room and even the tables in the foyer. I scraped myself 3 times in the bathroom and smashed a glass on the bedside cabinet by rolling over in bed. I'm 6'3" so maybe this boutique hotel wouls suit people of a more napoleonic size. Still loved my stay in Paris from this base tho. Staff were great. Very clean hotel. Nicely positioned. Enjoy!

Great location, poor staff”
As the hotel has been recently renovated the hotel is new and modern. Rooms are spacious for Paris standards and the bed was very soft and comfortable. Unfortunately, the bathroom had a weird design & just had a shower curtain so the whole bathroom floor was wet after a shower which wasn't helpful. Staff weren't the friendliest and weren't very helpful with our questions such as local places to eat for breakfast (they could only suggest their hotel breakfast) and weren't able to answer how much a 1 day metro pass in Paris was going to be. Overall the hotel is fine and is comfortable, however the staff were very disappointing.

Nice hotel”
It's a good hotel actually, comparing to price, location. Room is too small but i'm ok with that as it's very close to my office and shopping areas. Besides, internet is perfect. I can keep working without network failure.

The front-desk service is awesome!”
The location is very convenient to shopping areas, but it is quiet at night. The room is not really big but we have different rooms for 2 nights, there are different types of rooms, some are bigger with better space to use. The service from hotel front desk is really friendly and helpful, they kindly help to solve different requirements. All in all, I will recommend friends to stay in this hotel, and personally will visit again!

Over all is great”
The staff is very nice and very good in English. They are changed every day but all of them are very good. They explain every thing clear and guide for the tourist spot. Breakfast is limited choice. We have to request egg every day. It is not on the table that you can pick. The price is quite expensive this time. When I reserve in Agoda, it says last room but after I paid, there are still available room and cheaper than I reserve. Although, a few days before I arrive at the hotel, I check again and it is still available for last room (always last room) and it is cheaper around 50 EUR!!! per night than I reserve one month in advance. Therefore, I am not quite satisfy for the price but I think it is not the Hotel's fault. It is the Agada system. So, don't believe when it says last available room!
