Best Villas in Pai

"I'm only halfway through my stay here at Rim Pai Cottage but have no qualms saying now - I absolutely LOVE it here. I'm staying in the Junior Suite with river views and the room is spacious, the bathroom spotless and large and the verandah area is so large and comfy that I'm spending most of my time there, just enjoying the river. The air con is top notch, the wifi signal is strong, the water pressure in the shower is also strong. The grounds of the hotel are beautifully tended and stunning to walk around, with huge shady trees and lovely orchids and heliconia. The front gate of the hotel is at the quiet end of the walking street so you can easily pop out at night time and graze (very cheap food). There are 7/Elevens nearby and it's a 5 minute walk to the main bus station and Pai Expert Travel (definitely recommended!). Also close to plenty of cafes, laundry, massage and the Rabbit Cafe with fluffy bunnies to pet. Lastly, the staff are top notch, super friendly and helpful. "

"Changpai Hill was a great place for us to stay. We loved it so much, we ended up extending two more nights than originally planned. Although outside of the actual town of Pai, the location is still great. You get to be away from the loud backpackers roaming the streets but can also walk into town if you want to join them. This place is up on a hill, and if you stay in the room with a terrace and have a motorbike, be prepared for some daunting uphill and downhill drives. Breakfast provided on a terrace overlooking the hills of Pai is hard to beat, and was easily one of our best stays in all of our hotel experiences throughout Thailand and the rest of SE Asia."

"fantastic villas, clean, operated by a sweet family, roof deck to watch sundown and the stars at night, out of the hustle but close to town still.. breakfast was included but simple scrambled eggs and fruit and coffee would of been the best outcome - but loved these Villa's :)"

"This hotel is very good for the price you pay. We stayed in the main building, not the bungalows. Good size room, comfy bed and pillows. Front desk staff were very nice. Free tea and coffee is offered and every time we went to make tea they did it for us. There is also a toaster at the reception so we bought jam and bread for breakfast. Wifi is not great, and often disconnects. There was also quite a few ants in the room. They did not bite, we just killed them and moved all food off he counters and it seemed to help. The location is amazing, just around the corner from Pai walking street. I would highly recommend. "

"We stayed here for 9 nights ( originally booked 4 and extended) Pai will do that to you though! The location was perfect. A couple of minutes walk from walking street. Our hut had a hammock and a seating area which was nice. The bed was comfortable and we had a mosquito net. it had a fan too. The only thing that we didn't like was the shower. The hose was positioned in a way that we had to hold it while showering ( could of been worse) so it wasn't the end of the world. The cleaners couldn't go into your room unless you were there which is nice. There was also a lovely area by the river with swings and benches which you could ly on at night and look at the stars. I even seen my first shooting star. Would definitely stay here again."
