The staff were very friendly, and the breakfast was good. And the manager was very helpful and helped me with a lot of things. And I really appreciated the free and flexible pick up and drop off in town.

We love the view right on top of hills, relax, and fresh! The most we love is people, they are lovely and nice.

Absolut remarkable setting on top of a hill with stunning views. That is what you call 'value for money'. The breakfast choice is limited but I really liked it and the coffee was stunning.

The A/C could be a touch cooler.

It's a little out of the way out of town but the hotel offers a free shuttle service.

Dede and the staff were wonderful. So helpful and very caring. Looked after us. Dede was always available to drop us into town and pick us up so being up on the hill out of the centre of everything was not a problem, in fact I considered it a bonus! The rooms were very comfortable and the views unsurpassed.

The aircon struggles to keep up with the heat. It is very hot at Labuan Bajo. It made it a little hard to have an afternoon nap.

Great views, tasty own roasted coffee, free to/from downtown transfer service is crucial given the hotel's remote location.

Restaurant is not working (though two-course breakfasts are served).

The view, the friendly staff, the pool, the room, they have no restaurant but it's possible to order from la Cucina restaurant, it's a bit far from the town center but they can drive you where you need for free (from 7am to 9pm). The breakfast was just what we wanted (yogurt with muesli, pancakes, eggs on toast, fruits). When we were leaving early for a tour, they packed us the day before a breakfast to take away.

We had some bugs and geckos in our room, it didn't bother us in itself, but it meant we sometimes had gecko poo on the floor. The wooden deck next to the swimming pool could be restored. No hairdryer nor safe

the rooms are not really sealed so a lot of animals and moscato come in and the bathroom and shower is outdoor so again no big proof in addition the location is far from things so you are dependent on their car service (which is good)

It was extremely peaceful, a nice relief from the city. The gardens were pristine and the driver would take us up and down into the city as much as we would like. So, although they didn't serve dinner, it was easy enough to go out in town. Breakfast was big enough to last through lunch.

The only thing we think they could improve would be to put a wifi extender down by the pool. It would have been nice to work poolside. Also, the wifi in our room wasn't very strong and cut in and out frequently.

The best thing about this place is the view and the breakfast. Breathtaking both of them and the breakfast was the best we've had on Flores. Minor issues brings this review down to 4 stars but we truly enjoyed our time at this peaceful oasis. Having seen a bunch of other options in Labuan Bajo, this is definitely worth the extra money it costs, especially if you plan to stay more than one night. It's best accessible by scooter although shuttles can also be arranged. We stayed here 3 nights in September 2022. Thanks to the staff for taking good care of us.

Villa Domanik is absolutely fabulous. The views are incredible and the gardens beautiful. All the staff were lovely and so helpful. We loved our stay and would highly recommend.

This is a beautiful property with spectacular views! The owners are also very friendly and accommodating— helped us with booking a local tour to a waterfall and a full day tour to Komodo Island. It was also a very pleasant surprise to know that our stay included transportation— making it very easy to go have dinner in the town center. Breakfast was also delicious and we were provided with a boxed breakfast to go when we had an early morning tour. It was a beautiful and wonderful stay!

An area of growth would be to add door insulation to reduce bugs and lizards from entering the room. A hair dryer would also be nice.

Many many thanks to Dominique and her great team for the unique experience we had staying at Villa Domanik. Dominique is really much more than the owner of the place, she’s so caring and thoughtful. She really made us felt at home, and we spent lovely time all together, as we would have with our close ones! It was such a pleasure to stay at this place that it greatly contributed to creating lovely memory we’ll keep with us for a long time. Beside the incomparable sense of hospitality of our host, we should highlight that the beauty of the stop is not to be missed, with such a beautiful garden and incredible sunsets you’ll be so lucky to admire, enjoying a drink at the terrace restaurant, or relaxing in the large swimming pool. We loved the fact that the place was a bit remote, so away from the noise of the unresting Labuan Bajo center, but also super convenient thanks to the rides offered to / back from the city by Deby, the co-owner of the place. If you visit Labuan Bajo, Villa Domanik is a ‘must’, you will be truly delighted just as we were! This place has a real soul – something to offer beyond the accommodation unlike many other places around – it’s a gem, so don’t miss it 😉 . Great thanks again to Dominique !!

all around a great stay , away from the all the noise of the city , they would give us a ride into town and pick us up later when we message them

Amazing views of Flores and the ocean from the pool, friendly staff, great breakfast. The bungalow was pretty, clean and has a gorgeous outdoor shower. It's the perfect base for a day trip to Komodo National Park.
