Cozy and Dog friendly bungalows by the beach”
My second time coming and staying at Villa Bali Eco Resort and we will be back for sure. Well priced and well maintained bungalows across the street from the beach. If you are looking for peace and quiet this is the place for you. Gardens around the property are lovely and they are pet friendly also so feel free to bring your dog. Highly recommend the "Panang Pizza". :)

I had a short yet sweet stay”
Villa Bali Resort is right across the beach on Rayong. I quite liked that it had green and the room was lovely. By the way, I went on the end of May 2020, when Thailand has just relaxed the COVID-19 conditions so I gave it a go - quite understandably it was peaceful and it was very relaxing. There is an italian restaurant with Villa Bali; good value for price. I enjoyed the Spinach pizza (stone oven). Would stay again here next time i come back

Consistently Good”
Villa Bali has become our accommodation of choice in Rayong as it provides a quiet, dog-friendly getaway striking distance from Bangkok. Proximity to the beach and colocated with one of the best restaurants around. What has made the stay extra special though has been the above and beyond service and help from the staff and owners who went as far as to give us a ride across town, doggie included . Thank you so much for the wonderful stay John and Toy, we'll be back soon!

Love the Area & the Resort”
my wife and i stayed for 4 nights. fyi: much of my impression is in comparison to phuket. hotel is located about 25 minutes from rayong (our taxi was 350baht). once there, we did not get in or on a motorized vehicle again until our cab picked us to go to bangkok after checkout (2000baht by the way). if you want to super relax without the hassle and noise of traffic, nightlife, and tons of tourists, this is a great place. if you want to do more, such as day tours, the hotel is a licensed vendor of undiscovered thailand tours--some of them looked quite fun, though we did not go on any. a small town is a few minutes away if you want some markets. otherwise, the property is a collection of charming bungalows with patios, winding paths lined with vegetation (many are labeled which was interesting), a nice common-area/restaurant that is pretty much the hit of a few square miles i think, a very nice, clean pool, and a spa. breakfast is good and varied and was included in our price. we ate lunch and most dinners there too. good thai food, and great brick oven pizza. we had mani/pedi's and 3 massages in spa--good prices and nice people. location is directly across a relatively quiet road (compared to anything in phuket for example), very easily and safely crossed. the beach is lined with hundreds of umbrellas, chairs and tables usable for free. beach "restaurants" line the beach with more good, affordable food, especially sea food. the room was large and clean, but a bit dated. for a me, i don't want a bungalow that is too slick or polished. this was the right mix of comfort and charm. bed was king size memory foam. of the tourists, many were european & north american, but a nice factor was that on weekend, many of beach-goers were thai couples and families down for the weekend. it was nice to see thais enjoying their own country, instead of just serving us while we enjoy it!

Excellent Value at Villa Bali”
Wonderful. We stayed a week and could easily have stayed longer. The staff were very helpful with side trips to a national park and boat trip to the islands nearby. We really enjoyed the private bungalows in the lush and quiet garden. The whole area is very family friendly with many local restaurants right on the mile long beach right in front of Villa Bali. Highly recommended for those who want to be far from the usual congested tourist places. Very sabai and relaxing. Can't wait to go again. Soon!

Great place with pets!”
I have spent long weekend with my wife and 2 puppies at the resort. The setup is nice, lot of trees and fruits with detailed explanation (like in an arboretum). My dogs definitely enjoyed the spacious bungalow, and the bathroom setup is great to clean ourselves and dogs after a play at the beach. Only thing that's not that great: breakfast menu / size. But next to the hotel there are plenty of vendors with fresh food so I didn't care. Overall great value for money, unbeatable location and fantastic opportunity with pets.

An unexpected surprise!”
This villa located in a quiet spot in Mae Phim Beach turns out to be an unexpected surprise... a good surprise! For the price paid, this quiet and charming little resort nestled among the leafy surrounding is good value for money. Room is comfortable and well furnished with a spacious balcony outside overlooking the plants and trees for that quiet and peaceful moment with nature. Everything works well and the staff are mostly well-trained and friendly. Restaurant has wonderful pizza and thai foods so much so that we do not feel the need to venture out across the road to try the many food stalls on the beach. Some little minus points. Though the TV has many wonderful selections, the signal from the True TV box often disconnect and one often to pull out the cable and re-plug it in for re-connection. Toilet is very spacious but no pegs provided to hang your clothes. Also, wifi signal in room is quite erratic. But overall I am very happy with this villa and wished I have known about this gem of a resort before. I will return again as I feel very comfortable and safe here.

A very relaxed retreat”
Last week we spent 6 nights at the Villa Bali Resort and Spa, with rustic Balinese-style cabins in a lush, tropical setting located across the road from the beach. It is located on a largely underdeveloped stretch of coastline less than three hours from Bangkok. There is a pretty pool with a shallow children's section, partly shaded by tall trees when you need to escape from the sun. The open-air restaurant serves Thai and western food and drinks from morning to night; their specialties include a range of wood-fired pizzas, baked goods and gelato/ice cream, all homemade on the premises, that attract diners from the area as well as holidaymakers. We joined their all-day boat trip for snorkelling, swimming and visiting the turtle sanctuary. This is a family owned and run resort with two generations fully committed to meeting the needs of the guests. We had an excellent Thai massage in the small spa and were the first customers to purchase items from the new gift-shop which was about to open.

Amazing location and value for money. Take your dog!”
Villa Bali has been one of the best stays I've had in a long while. It is the perfect spot for a relaxing weekend getaway if you have a dog. Close to the beach, great accomodations and an excellent restaurant/bar on the premises. My only suggestion to the owners is to have better coffee available in the breakfasts.

We love Villa Bali!”
The Doty family is the best. The restaurant attached to the resort has some of the best food ever. The pizza is great and the Thai food is flavorful, but mild enough for those of us not accustomed to Thai levels of spice. The villas were placed artfully in a lovely garden with a pool. The resort is right across the street from the beach. Really, this place is wonderful. Would love to stay again.

Back to nature with all mod cons”
Very warm welcome from the owner and staff and accommodation in native style bungalows in a garden setting with very pleasant swimming pool. Across the road from a very pleasant beach. Onsite Bali Pizzeria serving wood fired cooked large pizzas for £7 and Thai and western dishes. Excellent homemade Italian style ice cream.

Great trip for the dog”
My partner and I spent 2 nights at Vila Bali with our large dog (German Shepherd/Lab mix). It is right across from the beach, very peaceful, nice clean private bungalows and good food at the restaurant (Try the pizza!). Highly recommended.

bungalow”
The Bali Villas are a pleasant place to stay and the location is opposite the beach although you must cross the wide but not too busy road to access the beach. Rooms are spacious and facilities are pretty basic. Design is nice with the semi outdoor shower and four poster bed . Not overly lavish but quite ok. Reasonable price if you want to stay at this beach. Not great but acceptable.

Returning ”
I forgot to review the hotel last time, and not much has changed. The staff are lovely, very attentive and fantastic with kids. A bit disorganised when they get busy in the evenings for food though, and it was the same last year as well. Food is decent. Swimming pool is small, but a good size for a post beach dip with our daughter. Rooms are a bit tired now, and musty smelling, but they are quiet and clean. We we will be going back again at Christmas which says it all really, even with the negatives, it is a decent place to stay.
