Best Hotel in Sapa”
I stayed at Victoria Sapa Resort & Spa for 4 days 3 nights. The hotel is very well-furnished, with a gym and indoor pool. The hotel breakfast is good with quite a spread every morning. There is a pool table within hotel compound to keep you entertained if you are bored at night. Your towels get changed twice a day as it is hard to dry the hotel due to the cool weather at Sapa all year. The hotel staff will also come in around evening every day to "make your bed", removing an outer quilt to prepare the bed for a comfortable sleep. The hotel staff are very attentive and polite especially the front desk staff who would try their best to answer my queries. The drawback of this hotel is that the path from the city centre to the hotel entrance is not very well-lit but that can be solved by using your handphone's torch function. It takes about 10 mins to walk from the city centre (Sapa Church) to the entrance and there are some shops offering US$5 leg massages outside the hotel entrance should you require one after your trek/hike. Overall, I had an enjoyable stay with my dad during my 4 days in Sapa and would highly recommend anyone who is going for a Sapa tour to stay at this hotel.

Fantastic stay in beautiful hotel with great staff and management ”
We had a great stay at Victoria Sapa resort. The staff and management were so friendly and helpful. Not only did we get a temporary room at 7.00AM after getting off the sleeper train but they also let us keep 1 room on the last day until departure as it wasn’t fully booked that night. Hanno the manager gave us a lot of useful information about Vietnam and Sapa. As the icing on the cake we got upgraded to the Victoria Express Train on the way back to Hanoi. Thank you everyone at Victoria Sapa resort for a very enjoyable stay, we really appreciate it. Hopefully see you again one day.

great hotel with excellent service”
The Victoria Sapa is a lovely hotel, overlooking the main town plaza. Having "integrated" service with the Victoria Express train and bus service to/from the hotel is certainly convenient (albeit a bit pricey). It's great that the Victoria offers to store your luggage and use the spa showers on your last day (since you will likely have to check out at noon, but wont be transported to Lao Cai until 7 pm in order to catch the 9 pm train). Although the train is lovely, it is very loud. Bring earplugs if you want to sleep! The hotel has an excellent included breakfast, a nice bar area (with tasty snacks), a pool table, a children's play area, and even some real bunnies in the garden. Although we didn't use these services, there is also a spa, pool, volleyball court, and small gym. The tour company affiliated with the hotel was a bit pricey but service was excellent and streamlined. Highly recommended.

Excellent Service, Comfort and Views”
My sister and I stayed 3 nights at The Victoria Hotel Sapa. An expensive treat for us. Our room was very comfortable, clean, spacious and well appointed. A touch of luxury after our overnight, gruelling train ride from Hanoi. Unfortunately it was a little noisy due to building construction nearby which commenced early each morning. However this was really out of the hotel's control so we put up with it. On reflection we should have asked for a room further away from the building site. The staff were friendly and offered excellent service. We had breakfast included in our booking and it offered a varied and delicious selection. We also ate at the hotel one night and were very satisfied, albeit much more expensive compared to other restaurants in Sapa. Loved the open fires in the lobby and restaurant and also the display of ethnic village craft and costumes. Victoria Hotel also had great views towards Mt Fanispan.

Sapa Victoria ”
Good ,only complaint is with the associated Victoria express train to the spa, was very expensive , could not find a way to book through Agoda. On the Victoria express train, it was cramped though most compartments were empty and thus provided no additional benefit from other means to get to Sa Pa. Only reason I booked SaPa Victoria resort was to take the "special " train ride and it was a big disappointment and would not recommend it to anyone

Great Experience”
I had a great time staying at Victoria. The staff are helpful and supportive. The decoration gives me a warm feeling, just like home. They pay attention the every little detail in the room and do the room service 2 times a day. The location is great, close to the market area, center. It was my birthday and after a long day visiting many places in Sapa, I came back I found a very suprised Birthday cake in my room from the staff. The next time I come to Sapa, I will not staying anywhere but this place! Thank for making my trip memorable.

victoria hotel sapa”
Our stay at Victoria hotel Sapa was my family's outstanding highlight of our holiday in south east asia . We loves our rooms , our view and my children (21 & 23yrs) loved free computer/net time in a comfortable lounge setting on the rooftop with a wonderful view . Staff were very helpful and extras eg pool table , games , pool sauna etc were much appreciated . Prices on bevridges were over priced (similar to Australia) . Beer in particular should be cheaper and more on par with local restaurants . Also I think the cheapest red was $55 .This stopped us using the restaurant for dinner as local restaurants had good french reds around $20 .

Sapa”
We had a very enjoyable weekend at the Victoria in Sapa. This is definitely one of only a few more luxury spots to stay in Sapa. The best part about the hotel is the atmosphere. With rain and cool weather, the wood burning fireplaces were lovely and made for such a lovely setting. The Victoria has a pool too and a nice spa. The massage was good. The set Vietnamese dinner at the Victoria was lovely - fast and efficient service in the restaurant. After checking around, even the tourist desk at the hotel was reasonable and very efficient at booking our last minute day trip. The trip that was provided was great and included the best driver and tour guide I have ever had in Vietnam.

Sapa weekend”
The Victoria Hotel in Sapa is a lovely place to stay in Sapa. The staff are friendly and the surroundings are fantastic. Enormous swimming pool and sauna great way to relax after day of hiking. Food at restaurant also delicious. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others who are looking for a more luxurious sapa experience.

Lovely hotel and staff”
I came back to visit this hotel after 12 years but it still carry its beauty, well maintainance, except for the room is getting old and small. Located right in the heart of Sapa, on the hill, with great view that you could ever imagine. Staff were lovely, always make us feel like home. Breakfast, especially, was great even thought food were limited. Tips: take tours with Laocai Tourist Information Center on Fangxipan street. Tours are half price comparing to the hotel's.

Nice place”
its clearly the best place in sapa and far enough to avoid much of the noise but close enough to be only minutes away from the town centre. main criticism is the pool and other facilities are a walk up the road from the accommodation. when booking you really need to book your train as these are hard to book. we missed the victoria express but understand this was not very good anyway. we went on a more expensive train but that was not good either. none of the trains look anything like the brochures and are not particularly comfortable. the restaurant carriage, if there is one, is full of smokers from the four bed rooms who refuse to get out and let others use the facility. the smoking just ruins it anyway and the food is terrible with no real meals served. the trains are overpriced compared to what you get on say a junk in halong bay and by vietnamese standards are a rip-off. but there is little option.

Lovely Hotel”
the best hotel to stay in sapa for sure. staff excellent. room lovely. the spa was lovely but in a different building. it was empty and we used the spa/swimming pool exclusively! the treatments were outstanding (booked a 3 hour pampering experience). the food was amazing, particularly the dessert. breakfast was fantastic. would highly recommend.

Train and stay”
The Victoria express train was a great way to travel to SaPa. We really enjoyed being able to relax in the dining car, it made all the difference. The service on the train and at the hotel was exceptionally good. the staff were consistently friendly and helpful. Early check ins and late check outs at no extra cost made it even easier. The buffet breakfast was good. The only drawback was that the complimentary evening meal we were offered as part of the package at the hotel was extremely disappointing.

Homy hotel surrounded by pleasant smiles”
The location of the hotel is very nice so we can enjoy the view of the Sapa city. The superior room was enough for us because most of the time we were out side of the hotel. We stayed 2 nights and we atill had time to enjoy the hotel while were lazy for having other acitivies or tours. The hotel staff were verry helpul and friendly and it made us feel at home.
