Nothing much around the area. Hotel is new, room is clean, security is good.

Clean room no soundproofing ”

Fairly new hotel, clean room and comfortable bed. There’s no soundproofing, you can hear conversation and tv sound as if they were right next to you. It’s bare minimum amenities, no hand soap, no tissue box so be prepared to bring your own. There’s hot water in the shower but none in the sink and if you ask for extra towels the same day you check in, they charge you extra. There’s a closet and a place to put your suitcase and a clean small refrigerator. It would have been a good hotel stay had it not been for the soundproofing issue.

Room was clean and complete with amenities, shampo , soap and the location is near with bus stop 3 minutes walk and easy to get food

New and clean hotel. Shower has good water pressure and ventilation. Walking distance to a lot of eateries. However, the soundproof of the room is not great. You can easily hear people talking along the corridor or people closing their doors. After we checked out, staff allowed us to hang around the lobby while we waited for our flight. Appreciate that. But just one comment though, perhaps it's not a good idea to use bed runners if you don't wash them (properly) after every stay. I noticed quite a few strands of hair from previous guests on the bed runners. And blood stain on the duvet cover, which I've deducted a star from.

Cleanest hotel I’ve been to!”

Everything in the hotel is new, in fact it’s the cleanest hotel that I’ve been to. Chinese male staffs are friendly, they will accommodate your request. Location is superb, close by to many famous eateries. Only DOWNSIDE is soundproof of the hotel room is not good, can hear next room’s guest talking, blow drying their hair & when they are closing the door. There is still room for improvement

+: private parking altho it’s limited but plenty of public parking nearby. Clean and nice. Overall a good place to stay. Very nice location. -: hot water not consistent and bad sound proofing. Not recommend for light sleeper.

A slight distance but still accessible to the key locations in Georgetown. Check-in was smooth and i managed to check in early (thank you!). Room interior is rather spartan but meets basic needs. Could do with some convenient features like built-in USB-C charging ports?

No frills value for money”

I booked this hotel at the last minute (3 days before flying), and it was a very value for money find. First up. Manage your expectations. This is a NO FRILLS budget sort of hotel, just VERY NEW and in a GOOD location. No frills - no tissue, no luxury stuff, hot water doesn't really work sometimes and despite being in a non smoking room on a non smoking floor, when your neighbour next door puffs on his cigarette at 5am in the mrng you won't be able to sleep because the ventilation is connected. But I took it as a sign to wake up and go explore penang breakfast. Also, walls are thin and completely not sound proof so you will need to deal with it. But other than that, family room was extremely spacious, basic amenities were there, hotel location was very good (walking distance to many eateries, good kopitiam, good nonya restaurants) and a short RM5 grab ride away to some very good other restaurants. Staff are young and decently friendly. Late check outs they charge you RM30-50. But like I said. No frills. Cleaners are friendly but don't speak English. Stay here if you're not a fussy person, or are looking for something value for money and convenient. But don't ask for too much! :D
