Best choice for a relaxing getaway!”

We cancelled our Maldives trip and decided to go to El Nido instead. I just read reviews about this resort and we were extremely happy we chose Vellago! The place is perfect for people like us who want a private and quite place. Food is very delicious! We love how the staff treated us. We were like VIPs, treated like their friend/family. I love how they put effort to check on our rooms always to fix the beddings and refill the water, coffee, tea, etc. Breakfast is served on our balconies and we have a romantic dinner by the beach every night! I will definitely go back soon! I already miss the breakfast by the balcony while enjoying the view and the beautiful sunset as well. I also miss their dogs - Brownie and Bella! Thank you, Vellago! Perfect getaway”

The Vellago is a lovely resort about 15 minutes boat ride from El Nido. It is on a beautiful secluded beach and it has a wonderful reef right off the shore which is great for snorkeling. The rooms are fabulous and it a small resort with only about 4 or 5 rooms in total. The staff are amazing and they went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was fabulous. They helped us with every request. The food is amazing and I totally recommend this resort.

Home away from home... Excellent view and staff ❤️”

Our stay at Vellago was nothing short of spectacular! By the time we left, we became a part of the Vellago family. Our room had a fantastic view of the islands and the sunsets are simply breathtaking! The staff went over and beyond to accommodate all our needs the moment we stepped on boat to take us to what I call a "beach treehouse" with modern amenities. ☺️ My favorite part? The personalized hot breakfast served in our balcony each morning at our preferred serving time with the most beautiful view of the ocean and Bacuit Bay. By far, THE ultimate breakfast view out all my travels! The owner, Thomas and his wife, the manager, Roy and their capable staff made our stay on the island something I will always treasure. Our last dinner was bittersweet... We, Harry & I, really appreciate all the effort you all put in to make everything extra special. Thank you so much for giving us an unforgettable stay! I highly recommend Vellago to friends and would be travellers. A taste of paradise awaits you! 🌴

Beautiful beach resort”

From the moment we booked our stay to the time we left the resort, the service was very commendable! Didn't want to leave! Loved the welcome drinks, loved the food, the room was amazing (I felt like I stepped in a high-end spa!), loved the day beds on the balcony, loved the fact that we were able to snorkel already on the beach front, loved everything! It was a plus for me that they tried to incorporate the true form of the cliff within the rooms. That rock in our room was something special, it felt like we were in a fabulous tree-house :) Just a suggestion to include insect-zappers by the balcony tho. Thanks, Jerra and the rest of Vellago staff for being amazing!

An amazing place”

This resort is beautiful. The room was large and comfortable. The veranda has an incredible view of the sea and was a relaxing place to hang out. The manager, Nina, was extraordinarily professional in helping resolve some personal issues my friend and I were having. My only criticism is the limited boat service provided by the resort. The facility can only be accessed by boat and there are only 3 scheduled trips - 3 inbound and 3 outbound. If you want to go to or return from El Nido outside the schedule, you have to hire your own boat.

Loving It!”

Vellago is the best! The location is very romantic and the views are exceptional! We spent a lot of time on the balcony just listening to the waves crashing and we were amazed to see fireflies ( technically, firefly coz it was just a lone bug). The place is away from the noise and the hustle and bustle of the main town. Perfect for couples! The staff are excellent! They really go out of their way to cater to our needs. Kudos to Kristina, Bong and the rest of the guys! The food? Man, the food is great! It may be pricier but let me tell you, whoever is the chef? Never let him/her go! The food is absolutely delish and the portions are generous. My love went ga-ga over their fries. Me...i just about died and went to heaven over their bacon wrapped shrimps. Breakfast is the bomb! Overall, i couldnt have asked for a better weekend getaway.

Chilled getaway in paradise”

Booked Vellago based on previous reviews and the stay was amazing. There are only 4 rooms so the staff are very personal and attentive to your needs. The room and view is perfect and the set up for evening meal changed every night. Breakfast delivered to your terrace was a great touch.

Great location ”

The location is perfect on a small beach only accessible by boat. Sunsets are amazing as is the dinner on the beach. Snorkelling just off the beach is the best I've ever experienced. Free snorkels for hotel guests. Breakfast is served on your balcony and the staff are amazing There is only electricity between 6am and 6pm. This didn't bug us especially because the location is so great. Wifi reception is not great but it wasn't good anywhere in El Nido either. Was nice to switch off and enjoy this fabulous and remote location. The stars at night were so clear!

Amazing in everyway”

This is definitely one of the most beautiful hotels to stay at. It's a cozy retreat from everyday life in amazing El Nido. Be warned power only runs during the night for the rooms, but this for us was really nice because you get to disconnect from your cellphone and PC. Every night you can have dinner in your balcony or in a very romantic setting on the beach. AND every morning they bring your breakfast to your balcony so you don't even have to leave your very luxurious room. This was an amazing experience for us, it's a little bit pricey but it's worth it.

perfect place to be isolated from the noisy urban life”

when we compare the rate, condition, service quaility with the other resorts in Maldives or Bali, you will feel satifsfied! much cheaper but much greater. I miss all nice people in Vellago already.

An unforgetable experience”

Definitely a place to recommend. We stayed at Vellago to celebrate my girlfriend's birthday and our engagement and from staff to the owner to everyone who crossed our paths, it seemed everything went above and beyond to make our time at special. We got the honeymoon suite and it was just a beautiful room with a stunning view. To top it all, I can only say: best meals we had in the Philippines.

Exceptional service and facilities ”

Vellago is a true gem. Sure it's pricey but it didn't disappoint. It's set in a great secluded location. The rooms are great and kept to a high standard. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to anyone.

A really nice place, secluded, the rooms are great if you and your partner enjoy each other then the time spent here will be great. The beach and the view are amazing the staff is over the top helpful. Will return in the future the next time I go to el nido.

Place is perfect and staff really helpful and friendly! if you want a quiet place and romantic dinner by the beach watching sunset this is your place. Your room opens to a balcony with a magnificent view of El Nido beach. Snorkeling right by the beach!

Honey moon”

The team is unbelievable ! Very kind and fun. They have special attention for you. The beach is beautiful but maybe too much crowded by the island hopping of El Nido. The food is very good also. I would recommande twice this place during the low saison. Nicolas and Alexandra

Idyllic private beach hideaway”

The resort is just 5 rooms tucked away on the end of one of El Nido's most beautiful beaches. Spending the day lazing on your balcony or down at the quiet beach bar mixed with swimming in the warm, crystal clear waters in front will leave you in a total state of bliss. Perfect!

Paradise ”

Staff was very welcoming and accommodating to every need. The food was great along with private romantic dining at night. Breakfast being served right on the balcony with your specific choice also for special diets. There was just a few things that could be different. The bathroom has no privacy if your significant other needs to use the restroom only option is to go outside on the balcony. We found the tours to be cheaper in El nido especially for the private speed boat I recommend Tour C the most for snorkeling depending on your taste. We didnt find it too bad that there is no electricity throughout the day just open the room up and the wind keeps you cool. Wifi was good for music but didnt get any luck for streaming videos on nights we stayed in. During the day tourist come in and flood the scene but they usually stick to the other side of the beach but it didnt bother us. Overall it was great experience and would suggest for couples to stay here for a private romantic getaway.

Nice accommodations (eco resort ) , nice and very helpful personnel. We enjoyed our stay and we surely recommend. Great food. Awesome vue and landscape. Price could be lower and adjusted considering lack of electrical power during the day. Beds could be bigger. In general we love it and we were very pleased.
