Holiday Homes in Lombok

"Not sure if it's how the hotels in Lombok or gili islands work, but I think all the places we stay are a little lack of maintenance. Flies are everywhere with us when we had breakfast by the poolside, but it seems it's quite common in Lombok. Not much choices available for breakfast. They don't provide some toiletries especially the dental kit which I consider to be ESSENTIAL. For the other two hotels I stayed( which is priced at half of the price for Nero), they provide all the essential things needed. Quite disappointed as we have to buy our own set. We have leaking (and rusted) pipes in our bathroom. But is then fixed after informing the receptionist. They do provide free bicycle which may be useful for many. The only pros is on the attitude of staff, which feels very welcoming. And they really attend to all the needs required. Thumbs up to the staffs! But I would highly recommend NOT staying at this hotel, because there are too many lacking parts."

"Booked three nights and very pleased to stay there. Cesare, the manager, was very kind and helpful with any request and hints on where to go (he moved to Indonesia from Italy twenty years ago). He was also responsible for the interior design of the hotel: a wonderful work indeed. Rooms are very large, quiet, with great class touches (the marble floors and the stone showers, to name a few). No inroom Wifi yet, but in all common areas it works greatly and it's included, as breakfast (go for the state of the art banana pancake). Service was great too as they made our room twice a day. Pool is really nice too but most important, three meters from the entrance there is a nice private beach with the well known great Trawangan sea. I know where to stay when I'm back to Gili T."

"Location was good,you just walk 3 minute from the habour. Staff they were so friendly and helpful. The breakfast is different from any other hotel so good, tasty and healthy, breakfast view is a bonus right next to the beach and you can see lombok island from the tables. Overall we love to stay there and will come back for sure. "

"This place was incredible, we had the cheapest room they had to offer and the quality was so high! The bed was large and super comfortable, with a mosquito net set out like a 4 poster bed! The bathroom was great, very spacious and clean, a cold shower wasn't a problem just make sure you do it when the sun is still up or else it's a bit cold. The pool has jets in so is perfect for relaxing, cooling off after sunbathing or going for a swim. The included breakfast was above what we would expect, you get a choice of fruit juice, and yoghurt with a selection of toppings, and multigrain bread with your choice of eggs and to finish it off a pancake, perfect start to our day. Our aircon unit was dripping and instead of just setting something on the floor to mop up the water they fitted an entire new unit which they got from Lombok, it was sorted within the day while we were out. The staff were very friendly and let you have your privacy. Opposite there is also a great pizza place which we grabbed a takeaway from one evening and ate on our balcony! We wish we could've stayed longer, 4 nights went too fast! "

"Very nice & clean rooms. Warm infinity pool with loungers. It’s about a 5 minute bike ride to the beach / Main Street and the resort lends bikes for free. Also about a 20 minute walk from the ferry. A couple suggestions : the road leading up to the hotel was not very clean and we saw the same garbage on it day after day. Maybe not the resorts fault but still affected our overall impression while walking to the resort. Also the hot water tank was leaking in our bathroom. Overall excellent hotel and we would definitely stay again. The staff were amazing and very helpful. "

"It was our first stay in Lombok and we (2 Girls) came for 7 Nights and we never regretted it! The service was very good, the staff is very friendly and they do everything for you! The kitchen is also very delicate. We eat everyday in Krisna for breakfast and dinner and drank a lot of fresh juices! Don't expect western hotel standards!!! It was really clean for Lombok, but there is no hot water to take a shower, no shower(cabinet) and the bathroom and also the room is very basic. It was maybe in beginning a bit special for us, because in europe, especially in Switzerland all is very clean and high leveled. After we had acclimated us after 1 day it was no more only one second a problem for us :) Those people, who want a bit more comfort: book a Lumbung Bungalow! They are newer than the others and very nice. They are higher and have a big door, so it's more light inside. Also the bathroom is a bit better. After a few days we changed also in a Lambung Bungalow, normally Krisna is full booked, but for 3 Nights in the end it was no problem. Very good service!! Thank you! All in all the stuff make their job really good! You could also rent some scooters from the hotel and discover the beautiful region. It is worth to make the big snorkeling tour with Wayan to Gili Ringgit, Gili Layar and Gili Nanggu. The fishes and the beaches there are amazing! Take a underwater camera with you, afterwards you know why!! The beach in front of the hotel is ok (there are some plants on the ground, which isn't so cool…), so better you swim in the nice pool, on makaki beach or on the beaches of the nearby Gilis (Layar, Ringgit, Nanggu) We never regret to stay in Sekotong, / Krisna! We loved and enjoyed our stay!! We didn't visit Senggigi, Gili Air and co., because the region , the nature/ beaches / landscapes around sekotong were so beautiful and also the locals there were very nice and absolutely friendly :) We have definitely to come back, it was too short!! "Pros. We stayed in a pool villa. Fantastic. Total privacy which is what we like. Outside grounds are expansive and well set back from the beach. Secluded. The beach is not perfect for sunsets but it has incredible views of Lombok, surf and sea, plus amazing morning light. Refreshing Winds in the morning too. Snorkeling was surprisely good. Easy and right there. Careful of the coral as it is very shallow. Cons. Breakfast is limited.. So if you stay for more than a few days, you will be out of options. It is not buffet style. I agree with that as buffets are wasteful, but if you stayed for a while you would be bored. Speed boat pick up was bad, maybe unlucky with the crew as private booking through the hotel. Lazy guys, sloppy. Check out was at 10.30am... Which is too early. We couldn't even checkin until 2.30pm.. So no idea why 4 hours is needed to make up a room. That was disappointing and surprising. Overall it was beautiful, Relaxing! Total getaway. "

"I was a bit worried at first as we had booked the family room to fit 4 people which we were not given. Thankfully we were four adults travelling together and not a family as we were given two seperate rooms. They were above each other so not a real issue. My friends room was on a second level, some of the windows didn't have curtains so was bright in the morning and although there room had Aircon there room was always hot. They also had to walk down stairs everytime they needed the bathroom. My room downstairs was fine, no issues. So ask for a room on a bottom level. Breakfast was pretty good. Not many options but it was cheap so it was what we expected. Staff were amazing. Always so happy and helpful. It was down a little laneway but only a very short walk to the beach. Would go there again. "
