Best place to stay in Penang! ”

Thank you Urban Suite for hosting us. We stayed for 2 nights at Studio Suite, with sea view. The unit was so spacious, clean and exactly as photographed. The beds, linens and pillows were really just great. Shampoo and body wash is provided. Towels and toilet papers are provided just enough to cater for 6 pax and lasted our entire stay. Drive to Gurney is only few minutes away so, you definitely save up time travelling. Overall, I would recommend this place to anyone who is visiting Penang!

This unit is located at Maritime Suites, Penang along Karpal Singh Drive. Pros: 1. Cheap rate per night 2. Swimming Pool 3. Free Parking 4. Security 5. Clean Unit 6. Every room in the unit has aircond 7. Accommodates 7-8 adults 8. TV with android box 9. Fridge, good if u buy lots of food! 10. Microwave Oven 11. Electric hob for cooking 12. High pressure water heater in both bathrooms Cons: 1. None for the affordable price.

this is my second visit to maritime suite, the first booking which is still under the hotel management with complimentary breakfast. Now it bcum like AirBnb, which requires self check-in. Anyway, the instruction given with pictures is clear to guide for own check in. Room is clean and good. The pool is a bit small.

beautiful home!”

we had a great time at urban suite last weekend :) the check-in instructions was very clear (and easy too), the house is beautiful! my kids loved it! but the stairs is pretty scary for me cause my 1 year old just love to climb it and i had to keep an eye on her at all times lol anyways all the mattresses is comfortable to sleep on, but the area is pretty noisy at night (because of the pubs) i was ironing my clothes at 1.30am and i can hear loud music until i was done around 2am. but my kids had no trouble sleeping so it's not really an issue for me. overall it was a great weekend for our family and we surely will be back (and recommend this place to our families + friends) thanks so much xx

Excellent for our 3 Days 2 Nights stay in Urban Suite. Downstairs can find alots of eateries like Korean food, Japanese, Chinese food etc ..View is superb and bed so comfy and clean...They have super cold air-conditioners inside the unit. Its spacious too so its very suitable for a whole family yet you can enjoy your own privacy. Will be back in one day!

Great Value for Money ”

It’s great value for money. We have everything we need and it’s in a handy location. Rachel and the team are always helpful and friendly and the rooms are clean and well appointed. I can highly recommend the urban suite.

Great Stay and huge Suite!”

Stayed here with my family of five adults and everything was perfect! Arrangements for checking in and out was easy to follow and fuss-free. The suite is clean and huge with excellent view of the sea especially early morning! Nicely located on a seaside with lots of cafes/minimarts right around the building (AutoMall) and just about 10-15mins drive to Komtar/Georgetown tourists area. There’s also 24hrs MacDonalds which is only about 5mins walk. Overall we truly had a great stay here!

Lovely stay & neighborhood”

We stayed for 5 nights at Maritime suite. The property is spacious for a family of 4 and equipped with complete facilities. Great city & sea view. Nice neighborhood for an afternoon walk. Checking-in to the property can be a bit of a hassle since there was no receptionist. We had to self check-in & check-out. On our last 2 nights, there was a minor problem with the AC in the living room. It was leaking and did seem need to be cleaned. Other than that, we had a lovely stay & will return if we ever decided to return to Penang.

Exceptional”

This is a self-checkin homestay, so do not expect concierge to assist your checkin. Place is highly recommended, very spacious, clean, great overlooking view of city and seaside, lots of restaurants around. There's only 4 of us, but the loft can accommodate 6-10people. Owner will give instructions how to go to the unit via email. Very responsive as well. Place has towels, soap and shampoo provided. Bring your own other personal toiletries. Light cooking is allowed. Just outside, there's Starbucks, spa, 7-Eleven, Japanese, Korean, Thai food to choose from. Georgetown is about 10-15minutes by Grab, Penang Hill and airport is 30mins away without traffic.

AWESOME PLACE TO STAY !”

Im very rare to give some comments in agoda review, but for this place it's a must !! The place is very cozy and the most important is, the owners are very helpful and kind in pra, during and after our stay. For example, the first; they allowed the nine of us to stay in the apartment (where as the written capacity is for 6 persons), the second; they allowed us to have an early check in at 12 AM since we arrived at penang about 10 AM, the last, they allowed us to have such late check out on the last day of our stay (moreless about a half our) from the original check out time at 11 AM We are very happy to stay and we hope we can stay again there once we come back to penang !! :)

Noise nuisance”

Woke up in the middle of the night (4:30am+) by marathon event with loud speech and music inside the property compound. Even-though this is nothing to do with Urban Suite but Maritime Automall management.

Bargain ”

Comfy stay for family and friends. The view from the suite was spectacular. Definitely will be my first choice if I travel to Penang again.

Apartment ”

1. The Apartment security is very good. 2. Room also big enuf for us to have a good rest after tiring shopping and walk around in Penang. 3. All the facilities provided is fully complete. 4. Perfect night view and morning view from the apartment 5. Can walk at the beach side track at Night and jogging in the early morning. 6. Very easy to grab car. 7. No need to worry about food and drink. There having 7-11 and my news. And a lot of local, western, asian food. If you are milktea or coffee lover, guarantee you will need to stay back for a week to taste all the milktea and coffee there. Highly recommend for family trip, big group of friend trip. This time me and my friend go for joining viper challenge , we really having great time there. Thank you so much.

Great apartment with sky high views”

We stayed on the 18th floor which had great views of the sea and the city below. It was easy to get there from the airport using Grab and checkin was easy. Although we didn't meet anyone, they provided a comprehensive online guide and Rachel was great in responding to our questions via Whatsapp. If you don't want to go anywhere there are good food options and an esplanade right below the condo. Otherwise Gurney Drive and the historical city of Georgetown are within a short drive. The apartment itself was clean, spacious, and self-contained with kitchenette, kitchen utensils, towels, sheets, toiletries, washing machine and other amenities. Highly recommended!

Very good”

Very good and a nice suite and all the restaurants are there. Also very near to all the places we want to go. The view from the suite was majestic!

Awesome apartment, superb location”

Nice, high end apartment with floor to ceiling glass walls that gives full sea view. enough to sleep 8. Central location within Georgetown within a few Kms to most of the tourist and eating places. There are many cafes, bars and restaurant down stairs. Can be a little noisy on Friday and Saturday nights but its tolerable. Highly recommended. Very cheap considering the number of people who can stay there.

Beautiful, clean, perfect appartments”

Beautiful, clean appartments. Perfect sea view with many coffee and restaurants. We stayed at Block A, u should choose room no.5 or 6, room no. 6 has 3 sides sea view, no.5 has 2 sides sea view. Owner s very friendly and helpful even we ve never seen him, but still can feel that. Will still stay here if we go to Penang again.

I love the environment there the room was excellent 6 star with beautiful sea view , near all nice food places , got 24hur Mac Donald, 7 eleven , there is also lots of restaurant, pub just rite downstairs our apartment , for sure will stay here again if I going Penang. I already recommend my friends to book this apartment.
