Exceptional”

Really nice hotel, with fun design in lobby. Day staff was friendly, but we checked in late one night and night manager guy could use a little more energy, he was subdued and slow-moving as he checked us in (it was 11.30p). Otherwise, a day request for more towels and pillows was quickly responded to (within 10 mins!). Breakfast was enjoyable and gym is excellent (even has Peloton bikes). Hotel rooms could use more thorough cleaning upon check in - specifically bathrooms (in our case there was a wash cloth left from a previous stay hung on the shower curtain rod above that understandably could easily have been missed as staff is likely looking down to clean the shower area but as a guest, it's a little gross). Overall I would return to this hotel, just a few processes that need to be tweaked for this new hotel.

Value for money”

The location is a 15 min walk to the Union Station where most of the tours start. There are a lot places to eat along downtown area with a 7 eleven around the corner. The hotel is very clean with friendly staff. The breakfast was okay but with little choices. All in all I’d rate it a 4/5.

The elevator takes forever ”

It takes forever to wait for the elevator!! There are 4 elevators but 2 are out of service. I waited for more than 20 mins to get down to the lobby.

Meh”

Breakfast was good, lobby was nice, location was great. The room was so teeny we all hit shins on bed corner multiple times. Fish hook embedded in bath mat freaked me out, boogers wiped on walls. 45$ to park was robbery.

Above average”

The rooms have cheap white blinds that do NOTHING to block out the sun. So every morning at 7 am you will be woken up by the sun coming in as if there were no blinds at all. I asked a friend who was also staying in the same hotel and he had the same problem. I have photos that show the sun just coming in. Not great for sleep!

Didn't meet expectations.”

Breakfast was included, and they even had a good selection to offer, but the hot food options were stone cold and bad quality. There was supposed to be coffee available at reception 24 hours a day. It was empty on three occasions that we tried to get a cup. There are no coffee making facilities in the rooms. There was also no breakfast options for early morning check outs either. When I tried to order a taxi through reception they didn't want to help. They also didn't want me to make a new reservation at their own hotel for an additional night. On the plus side the hotel is very close for downtown and Union Station. The rooms are comfortable and modern, but the shower doors seem to have issues with closing in both rooms we used.

Nice location ”

The location is nice since it’s near the mall and union station. The breakfast was also good. But for the price, you can probably find a better one. It also seems like there were no exhaust fans in our bathroom.

NO PARKING ”

At least they should mention that there is literally no parking other than the Hotel valet for another $ 45 a night

Out of town traveler”

The hotel was about half a mile from the Union Station and within waling distance to lots of eating places. The check in staff was friendly and very accommodating.

Poor service”

Most of the electrical outlets in our room didn’t work. That also ended up causing the mini fridge to defrost and leave a puddle. We told the front desk to fix it while we were out for the day and they didn’t.

Pretty good... but a little dirty”

The line to check in was long and the lobbvuy was sort of a mess, but the employees at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. My room was clean and the stay was nice overall.
