Helpful staff”
Treeli hotel's staff are stars! Restaurant staff especially. Downside to my stay was being given the room under the restaurant with little sound insulation. Furniture dragged over floor at all times of day and night. Consequently, for the boutique price, i thought it over priced.

Attractive stay”
Great little hotel in a quiet part of Bukittinggi that is still walking distance to all the attractions. Really liked the decor and the rooftop restaurant. My room was tiny but had everything I needed and was well maintained so didn't bother me.

Central to town”
Probably one of the better places in Bukittinggi, appart from the Novotel. No lift but the guys will carry your stuff up the stairs for you for a small tip. 5000 Rp or so. If you don't want to stay in a hostel then I would recommend. Warning if coming to Bukittinggi. Muslim prayer here is pretty much non stop throughout the day/night. Start 4:45am, finish around 8pm. This only gives a small window for sleep. There seem to be Mosques everywhere with loud speakers as as the walls and window glass is so thin in hotels in Indonesia, even earplugs were not enough. A good experience in either case for a non muslim, but 4 night was more than enough.

No lift, broken air conditioner,only eight rooms”
See above, the rooms are small, the breakfast ,which is inadequate for Westerners, is a hard two floor climb to the rooftop dining room with no real view. The staffs English is inadequate to non-existent and Bukittinggi does get a fair number of Western tourists.

new hotel, very satisfy”
I just stayed for 1 night, the staff welcomed us when our car had just arrived. Good room (enough for short stay because not too spacious), hot water 24hours, clean, good service and very polite. Just 10minutes walk to Gadang clock. They only has 8 rooms so they can serve you better even remember their guests name and can remind their guest to not skip breakfast at their roof top restaurant. Excellent for 1 star hotel, and agoda can give you cheaper rate than their standard rate. This hotel exactly between asia hotel and lima' hotel at kesehatan street.

A very pleasant stay”
Conscientious staff. Lovely indoor/outdoor restaurant with a a panoramic view located on the top (3rd) floor of the hotel for breakfast and other meals if you should choose. Spotlessly clean.

Good for family ”
Overall facilities is good even the hotel is not big enough. My little complain is it will be better if they are providing big curtain to the window since my room is on the ground floor. I am not feeling safe everytime coming out from the toilet. Always thought people from the outside could see me.

Pleasant stay”
The hotel staff were all friendly. Food was good. However, the setting for the bathroom was quite odd and the tiles were a bit slippery. Our room was exactly below the cafe & resto, so it was a bit noisy until it was closed. Nevertheless, i still consider it as a pleasant stay.

The hotel location is good but the room especially the bathroom is the smallest I've ever been! The towels provided are dark and the small pillows are smelly! Wondering how and why it can be rated as the Top 3 hotel in Bukittinggi.... However, the free breakfast is delicious

Ok for the price”
You can't really complain about anything considering the price, but be aware that "garden view" means staring at a wall and all that is "boutique" is that it is a small hotel. Ok breakfast on the nice rooftop terrace. Unfortunately the capuccino/espresso machine only starts at 11 for whatever reason...
