So they cancel the night before we arrive. No vaxxed owners and now I’m waiting for my refund. They advised at 745pm on the 29th that they couldn’t take our booking on the 30th. We had made this booking in mid July. Had to book in Cromwell some 40 minutes away. Piss pour really.

Magnificent place !”
The owners are kind and helpful. This place is on top of a hill overlooking the beautiful Wanaka town. We were able to watch some moving satellites on a starry night. Absolutely love it . The facilities are absolutely luxurious. We will definitely be back !

Barry and Trish made us feel very welcome. Barry Helped guide our choice of local activities based on his knowledge of the weather over a 48 hour period and we had a fantastic time on the Matukituki river with Wanaka River Journeys.

It was perfect From the moment we arrived we were relaxed and so so comfortable Our room was luxurious and we didn't want to get out of bed the following morning although the we were enticed by the breakfast!! This would definately be on our list of where we'd like to go again but for longer Wonderful owners who made our stay so special

The room is clean and comfortable but is over priced for what is provided. Family operated style and the breakfast provided is delicious and is all make by the host.

A great little place to stay”
It was a great place to stay. My only reservation was that booking through Agoda meant Barry didn't have our email direct and couldn't send out his usual emails to people giving directions and ideas of what to do. The directions in particular would have helped as it was not easy to find first time! It was also a bit pricey but you get what you pay for I guess.

A very beautiful lodge. The room was well designed and appointed and the view of the town was amazing. Owner/manager was very welcoming and helpful with our queries
