Coming from a tourist destination in Mpumalanga, I really need to say that the staff at Town Lodge, Bellville were absolutely outstanding. Friendliness beyond any expectation. Willingness to assist beyond any expectation, epitome of politeness and professionalism. Hotel spotlessly clean and rooms absolutely perfect. Thank you.

A Delightful Town Lodge”

A delightful Town Lodge, just off the N1, at the entrance to Tygervalley, Cape Town. The rooms were nicely furnished with a very comfortable bed. The rooms were thoroughly cleaned with the linen changed on a daily. basis. Special mentioned must be made of the very friendly and helpful staff., which certainly made for a pleasant and memorable stay. A very delicious buffet breakfast is offered in a pleasant dining room with polite and helpful staff.

Agoda bookings”

Hotels tend to put you in basic uncomfortable cubicles when you book with Agoda. I'm currently staying in a room at Town Lodge Bellville with no couch, fridge, nothing. Not even a platform to keep my traveling bag. The toilet is right in front of the little shower in which you cannot even turn.

Our room was inter leading and was very small.”

We stayed for one night and it was fine.I would not stay longer because there is nothing besides a bed in the room. For a 2 star it is sufficient and the Hotel is very clean and the staff is friendly and helpful.The swimming pool is small and the children was occupying it most of the time.I was very surprised and not very happy when i saw the quests sitting and eating Steers take aways alongside the pool area and they left the dirt there. Cooler bags with Alkohol was alongside the pool area as well,i was not aware that it was alowed. We had an inter leading room which was very small . I will recommend this Lodge for a stopover or a business stay.

The hotel is clean and staff is friendly. However, they can add items such as a bar fridge and iron in the rooms.

Staff was excellent. But very dodgy guests at time of our stay. We had to move to different floor and room. Music was load and marijuana smoke was hanging in floor.

Non-smoker placed in smoker area - no questions asked”

At first, we thought it was another visitor smoking in their room, then later noticed that they placed us in the smoker's area - no questions were asked while booking in to determine whether we were in fact smokers. The facility is over priced for what one gets.

Agoda/Town Lodge MESS UP!!”

I distinctly booked a double NON SMOKING room online only to be told upon check in that there was only a twin SMOKING room!! From there, failure to rectify this issue left me with a severe sour taste in my mouth after a long day of traveling. Then when I get back to my room after dinner, my key card is not working. Issue after issue....

Showers are too little to an extend of hand basin been outside the bathoroom. Its not polite to wash mouth in a bedroom

Absolutely no way of making contact with anybody at agoda”

I have used Agoda twice now, can't seem to get an invoice for either of my stays and as I am travelling for work, I cannot be compensated for it without an invoice. So no, I will never recommend anything to be booked through agoda, as we cannot send an email of phone anybody for queries and the hotels just tell us to get the invoice from agoda, which is impossible.
