Good location, nice place”

our family booked this place because we found the price per night quite reasonable. for a furnished 3-bedroom house, with it's nice view and peaceful environment, it was worth it. when we arrived on the first day, there was some problem with parking lots. initially, there were no assigned lots for guests. this became a problem specially for big groups who brought 2 or more cars. other guests would also scramble to get parking lots which created a problem for those coming back late in the evening. we suggested to the owner to fix the problem by assigning a specific parking lot number per house. this will prevent other guests to get your assigned space. to our pleasant surprise, the owner fixed the problem immediately. the following day, the lots were painted with parking lines and assigned per house number. this definitely solved the problem for us and future guests. overall, the stay was good. we recommend tiptop vacation homes.

Value for money”

We wanted to find a place that would be budget friendly because we would mostly be out touring Baguio. If you plan to just stay in, I advice you to get a 4 or 5 star hotel to enjoy the ammenities. But if you are looking for a transient home and be out for most of the day, Tip Top is a good recommendation. We knew from the beginning that we did not book a 5 star hotel so our expectations were low. We even brought our own blankets just incase. Tiptop has spacious rooms fit for large groups. We were lucky enough to book the room that is just one flight of stairs down. The weather was amazing. No need for fans or airconditioning. We just opened the windows. Cooking was okay. They have the basics. Pot, utensils, glass, plates etc. No frying pan. They even have a store in front of the place but closed on Sunday night. So everything was convenient. Bathrooms had small shower space but it was okay. We were very glad the water heater was working.

INCREDIBLE STAY”

We booked the Penthouse Honeymoon Suite for P7,000 per night, for 2 nights! What a great deal it was!! This place is BEAUTIFUL, inside and out, teeming with wildlife and forest. Inside is incredibly spacious and clean. New appliances including rice cooker, stove top that works amazingly, refrigerator, and flat screen tv with cable!!! The shower was huge with steaming hot water and the toilet has a window so you can get sunshine while in the CR. Bed was extremely comfortable (down feather matress?) with enough pillows and blankets to keep us warm and comfy the whole weekend and the kitchen is stocked with plates, silverware, pots, pans, and cups as well! The couch in the living room is a dream, and we saw ZERO bugs/cockroaches while we stayed. Locals were friendly and parking was perfect. We were able to buy everything we needed at the sari-sari store across the street as well. There is no wi-fi but I had my own hotspot that worked just fine. the balcony that opens from the master bedroom has a breathtaking view and we spent the entire weekend with the doors wide open feeling the cool breeze and the sound of light rain, bliss! I couldn't have asked for a better weekend in Baguio! I recommend the hospitality of this place to anyone and hope everyone enjoys their respective stays in this beautiful place!

Fun, exciting, and adventure”

My stay at the Tiptop Vacation Home was nice and exciting. The Children had no problem entertaining themselves, because Tiptop has a mini playground for them to play. It was very close to Camp John Hay. In which we attended an event (fashon show. Also good for Golfers. Not too far from major sightseeing, night market, and restaurant.

FEEL BAGUIO”

The place will make you feel that you're really in Baguio, as it's interiors were designed well. The place is also surrounded by large pine trees. It has a small grocery store and a small play area for children. Everything you need in a kitchen for vacation is here, all you need to buy are the ingredients =)

Relaxing Vacation”

Our vacation was amazing. We did get what we wanted out of the break from our routine lives. The place was located in the peak area of the city, hence, there was some privacy and peace & quiet in the neighborhood. There was a spacious veranda to hang out and enjoy the fresh and cold air. The kitchen utensils were all provided. The staff members were friendly and accommodating. The owner of the place gave me a certain discount in my total bill :)...Best for family vacations away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Definitely I can recommend this to others.

first time to use Agoda, while looking for an inn to stay in Baguio, this caught my attention. The place is nice, the view is breathtaking. The over-all look of the inn is nice, the room is homey and comfortable. There's no canteen or restaurant in the inn, but it has a small store where you can buy what you need. It's quite far from the busy city but I definitely enjoyed my stay here. If there's a negative comment I could give, there's no office or attendant visible.

Tiptop became our home in Baguio for three days :)”

From one who was really pessimistic because of the number of negative review, I feel like its my responsibility to debunk them. Maruja was nice enough to let us check in at 10 in the morning (our room was available then) at our 3bedroom/2tB suite. She also provided EVERYTHING we requested for (fan, towels, perculator etc). And the prices of the beer, water, dishwashing liquid in their store were very reasonable. Some would even argue they are cheaper compared to SM! The furniture in the sala looked new, the beds were clean (although standard).. So the price we paid was really cheap compared to the overall experience we had. Thats why I dont understand the negative feedback they received. Just dont expect a 5star hotel service because this is pretty much a self service room. I would definitely go back to this place, with families (kids), even with friends.

Great view nice place to stay”

hotel was very clean room was smaller than regular but bed was comfortable the view of the city and the surrounding mountains was nice. since i am from canada the nice cool weather in baguio without the need for air conditioning was a very nice change i am glad i stayed 4 nights. the distance from surrounding dinning is a little far but the taxi service is only a 1 min wait and very reasonable.

We had a great time staying in tiptop vacation homes.We would like just to comment for some improvements like the cr flush is not functioning and the sliding door in the cr and windows are broken then my son while on shower the water went off . We like the place because of the beautiful views .Our room is ok for big groups like us . No cockroach but my daughter saw an insect in the kitchen counter . The owner accomodated us well when we want to transfer to another room because of the smell of the paint reaching our room but we opted to stay she just fixed our main concern .

We enjoyed our stay at Tiptop. Especially the children they really enjoyed the place because it has a playground in front of our room. We will surely consider staying again at Tiptop when we visit Baguio again.

Highly Recommedable”

If you are looking for a quiet and peaceful place, we recommend this place. It very clean and the attendant was very approachable during our stay. However, the hot shower machine doesn't work properly. The transportation wise was pretty expensive as no local transportation going to the city proper. We always take a cab in all our destinations back and fort. Overall rate, 7 stars our of 10.

Good with a few things to improve”

Overall it was very good. The view is to die for, the staff were VERY helpful, the onwer was VERY accomdating and the room had a fire place which we used everyday and night (although the firewood as espensive for 50php per small bundle). They could improve on fixing the hot water - we had it but it would come and go as you took a shower. Usually I would not mind this but when you are in the moutains and it is only 15 degrees a nice hot shower is just what you need in the morning, but could not get there. The blankets were very thin, luckily we brough our own. The owners house was above our room and we were treated to the running and playing of childern day and night. BUT I would go back and I would recommend this place with a few tips to make their stay better. The kitchen had everything but you should bring your own blankets, toilet paper, and all toiletries. Oh and get a map because the hotel will not have them for sale thought they should. thy do have a little shop though which was great because we ran out of oil, dish soap and milk and the shop has those thigs. :)

Had a short but great stay here with my family. Place is a bit far from the center but will not be a problem if you have your own car. And I left my cardigan here while we were taking pics, but they shipped it back to my home for free! So kind! Definitely worth recommending! :)

Pleasant, economical, friendly staff”

Our previous (1st time last February 2014) stay was better because they gave us the bigger room atop a hill with same 3 - bedroom occupancy each with bathrooms. This recent stay, they gave us a 3-bedrom room with 2 bathrooms. We had late check -in which has no problem. However, when we were asked to vacate our room during our check - out because they have to clean the room for another client, they have no lounge to hold us while waiting for our ride (driver & van) to arrive. The hotel offers no breakfast, just room accomodation with kitchenette and barbecue grill area. The staff however, were all friendly. Our over - all stay was pleasant and we shall definitely would like to stay there again even for an overnight when we go back to Baguio. The location is not within the city proper or central area. We suggest they place a bigger and many billboards / signages for the hotel's name along the main street because the hotel was located off-main road, and we had to ask several people in the area before we found it the first time we booked.
