Great location, decent room for Paris”
The hotel room was fairly small but as we were in Paris for less than a week, we were always out. There is a Starbucks across the road, a fairly good Italian resturant to the right of the hotel too. We didn't try 'Mollards' which is the restaurant next door. They were a bit pricey. Train station a few steps away which was very convenient. A 5-10 min train ride to the Eiffle tower and Champs Elysees.

The best location for shoppers!”
The location is perfect! Printemps and Grand Lafayette and some other stores are nearby, I didn't even have to cross the road to get to metro with a lot of lines, and there are rows of bakery and restaurants n the same block. I took Roissy-bus direct from CDG to Opera which stops across Grand Lafayette and only cost me 10 euro, and I think it is better for those with huge luggage and want to avoid the endless stairs via metro. And I can pull the luggage easily to the hotel. There is a lift as well, unlike most budget hotels in Paris which saved me the trouble of dragging it upstairs. The check-in was smooth and My room was bigger than what I imagined, with AC and window and it's been recently refurbished. So it was clean and nice. Free wifi is definitely a plus and it was quite fast. There is also a room for you to store your luggage if u arrive early or later which i find it convenient. The reception assisted me to book a shuttle to the airport as I ended up with lots of bags to carry due to the summer sale and the proximity to shopping area! So walking to the bus would be tough. Anyway, given the price I paid for, I am happy with the services and the hotel. Don't mind moving back at all!

Memorable experience in Paris”
I visited Paris in April 2013 at that time I stayed in this Hotel. Timhotel Opera Madaleine is easily accessed which near the Metro station of Saint Lazare, there are many attractive places nearby such as Paris Opera, Primtemps and Lafeyatte department store. The service in this hotel is freindly, the staff are helpful and coffee machine is free of charge in the lobby. The guests can relax and take a break in this hotel after whole day shopping in Paris.

Centrally located at st lazare metro”
Very ideal location to major shopping areas, if not the metro is always there to bring you to Champs Elysees or La Vallée Village. We were there mainly to shop, eat and live like a parisian.. We were treated to a room upgrade, from comfort to superior, as the hotel has spare rooms while noting we were traveling as a pair. The reception speaks good English although you will need to slow the speed a little to get your message across, which is fine with us. However, we requested to change the badly stained bedsheets by leaving behind (while we head out) EUR5 and a note in English to ask the chambermaid to change the sheets, which they didn't. They took the EUR5 and left them unchanged. We though perhaps they didn't understood English. So the next day we called the reception requesting them to instruct their cleaners to change our bedsheets, but to our disappointment it wasn't carried out either.. Overall a cozy hotel if you are in "bed & breakfast mode".. For Asians travellers do not expect Asia styled rooms or services when you are in Europe, which we found to be a common misconception after numerous trips to Europe...

Very good”
We enjoyed our stay at Timhotel. We had a family room with a queen bed and two singles. The room was small but adequate. The location was excellent. The hotel allowed us to check in just after midday and held our bags for us on our last day. Would stay again.

Great location but small room”
This hotel provides direct airport transfer when you book with the hotel. They will help you to arrange & need to pay only 18 euro / pax for the trip to airport. Save you the hassle of carrying your luggage to the train station & take the train to airport. Very good location but the only cons is that it's a very small room with tiny bathroom. Always get knocked around while bathing. Stayed for 3 nights, overall still okay with the affordable money for a Champs Elysees located hotel. I have met 2 staff - 1 chinese or jap lady who was kind and helpful. The other was a black guy doing night duty but he was quite rude to us when we enquired something. He made our stay with a bad taste.

Small but clean and cosy. Very convenient and near to Lafayette and Printemps.”
Very kind of the front desk lady by the name of Christina who allows me to check in earlier as I arrived at the hotel early in the morning. I was really grateful for her kind arrangement as I was really tired after spending the last 18 hrs on the flight with transit in between. Will definitely consider this hotel when I am back to Paris again.

Location!!!!!”
Directly opposite the train station and plenty of restaurants surrounding the hotel. Walking distance to all the tourist spots and shopping areas in Paris. We did a mistake for purchasing the 72 hours metro tickets (unlimited) as it is not necessary due to the location of this hotel. Please dont buy it unless you are travelling alot in paris with their metro or underground. Dont expect the room to be big and it barely ve space for 2 big luggage bags. Shower room was extremely small and if you are a plus size guy, it will be hard to shower in it =)

Staff is friendly and ready to answer all question. They are reasonable price. Room claen and tidy. But the desk in the room is extremely small which i even can not fit my laptop computer .I defintely will stay again if i want to go to Paris

Grķeat location!”
The location was perfect for us since we went there just for 1 night stay. The TimHotel was for our leisure trip. Love the fact that it was located just minutes away from Gallaries La Fayette, near all the boutiques. You can easily get halal food in that area. The metro station also just across the street. Kudos to the hotel and its friendly staffs!

Best we stayed in”
We stayed in a number of hotels in Paris during our stay all around the same price and this was the best for what we paid. Shower was a bit small but for two small people like us it was fine. Close to everything, would stay here again.

Great location and affordable”
i stayed at the hotel with my friends following a business meeting elsewhere in paris. it was winter in february 2012 and the big chill is starting to enter france. we went there by rer/metro, got off at hauvre caumartin station and had to walk to rue saint-lazare. the hotel sign was small that we walked pass by it. it was overwhelmed by the much bigger sign of mollard restaurant. the location is nice, really close to boulevard haussmann, where the grand magasins are, namely galeries lafayette and au printemps. we should've got off at saint-lazare station, as the hotel is really close to the exit. when we arrived, the elevator was broken and we had to drag our suitcases up the stairs to the reception. the receptionist was friendly. he acknowledged the broken elevator and promised to help our lady friends with their suitcases. the room was smaller than what the picture suggested, but it was warm, clean and cozy. the bathroom is also small, with narrow showering chamber. no complimentary bottled water, so i had to use tap water for coffee. small lcd tv hung on the wall. wifi was free and could be used in room, but i had to make an account first. the connection was excellent. as it is located on busy/shopping area, there are a lot of places to eat, including mcdonald's, starbucks and some local cafes. it provides many tour-related services, and also booking for airport transport.

Great Location”
Train station was across, very near to anywhere and walking to Galeries Lafayette too. Summer sale time is best to be in this hotel I guess. There are various pubs/bars behind hotel - i went to watch World Cup and cheered with the French. Was awesome! WIFI - almost forget to mention. It is my only negative feedback. ERRATIC and we cannot get most of the time during our stay. Hope that will improve. we book 4 in a room with 2 bathrooms/toilets - very good for us. Room needs some touchup/renovation perhaps.

Good location, small room”
Easy to reach from airport by metro. Very close to the exit of metro. Close to Opera and there is a lot of restrurants nearby and also a supermarket. The room is very small but clean. The shower place is extreamly small. If you are fat, you even couldn't turn around. There is tea pot but looks a bit old and dirty.

Good Location and Budget”
Lafayatte and Printemps in walking distance. Conveniently located Saint Lazare with plainty of transportation options. Small room and basic facility. Obvisouely, location is the point for Timhotel.

Basic hotel”
As a solo female traveller, safety, price and location are the main criterias for me. I like it that this hotel has a 24 hour reception that is facing the entrance stairway, which means who comes in and out of the hotel can be monitored. Staff are also very friendly and helpful here.

TIMHOTEL OPERA MAGDELEINE”
The hotel has a very good location at Gare St Lazare where there is an interchange. It is near to the Lourve, Galleries Lafayette and it is also very near to the train station. The hotel is also located beside a nice seafood restaurant and MacDonald. The room is small but decent and comfortable. Toilet is nothing to shout about, but the plus poi t is the free internet in the room.
