The Manglos' of Makati at Manor (May Ganda)”

The hotel personnel are approachable, helpful and courteous. Breakfast is good. The place is clean and everything is in order. World-class service. We feel safe and secured inside the hotel and it was fun just staying in there! Highly recommended! :D

Accommodating and honest staff”

We were a big group looking for a place to sleep. Room is okay, although bathroom could use a bit more cleaning, but staff are accommodating and honest. I accidentally left my phone when we were about to leave, and one of their staff hurried to get to us. Location is good but Google Maps have it on the wrong spot, and so we wasted time looking for the place. If you are looking for its exact location: Latitude 14° 0'37.42"N Longitude 121°20'10.80"E. Google should fix this.

Above average”

It is not well maintained. The toilet bowl is so yucky, although the water heater looks new, how I wished they replaced the toilet bowl with a new one as well. The room smells like mold, Iwished they put some freshener or humidifier to freshened the room. Wall clock, tv and electric fan is not working. Water supply is good. Gladly, air con gives us a cold, nice sleep. The room is very spacious, with 2 queen size bed and double deck , good for 6 -8 persons, very reasonable for it's price. So, If you are just staying for 1 night, and just need a good sleep with very tight budget this one is for you.

The place was a disappointment. We were the only guest. Kind of depressing.”

The place needs renovation. The pool is old fashioned and not so clean. The place is depressing, so lonely, it is quite big. The room has mold smell even the beds. It is clean though. We only slept there and took a bath the ff morning nothing interesting to do, we checked out at 8am.

Good”

If you are visiting Villa Escudero and you think you cannot afford the overnight rates, this resort may come in handy. Besides that it has a reasonable rate, it's really close to Villa Escudero, it takes 5-10 minutes by car. The staff are so warm and always smiling. However, from the negative side, during my stay the toilet bowl malfunctioned, there are only 4 channels on TV and I had to move the antenna back and forth until I get a clear sound. This is not major issues for me as I only wanted to stay because it's cheap. And I was expecting for the flaws anyway. Overall, I'll be coming back, because the staff were so friendly.

Had its good days years ago”

This place should be shut down for renovation or offer rooms for 200 PHP max. I am sure it was very nice 10-20 years ago, nothing has been done. A/C loud as hell, old, moldy grey rooms, bathroom ugly dirty, even at arrival almost not found the entrance coz no reception, no proper road onto the resort. Need entire renovation and refurnishing.

Worst hotel ever booked”

only the fresh air since there were lots of trees surrounding the hotel

We booked this hotel since it was close to Bato Springs. But we were so disappointed when we reach the place. It was too crowded as there was a company outing booked. Our room was not yet ready when we arrived and when they finally let us in, we had to request their staff to clean the CR again. Bed mattress were thin, and there was almost no free space to move around the room. They did not serve us the two free breakfast on our first morning. They only served it on the second day when agoda staff called them. Pool is dirty. They have a spa but with only one attendant.

Friendly staff of haunted hotel”

the staff, the pool and the staff again

The staff was very friendly in this 1930's hotel (even though it is 2013). But they are promising many updates in the next few years that will bring this hotel into the 21st century. Even though there were no hauntings while we were there, the fact the hotel has had no upgrades since the 1930's imbued the hotel with a haunted feel.

Looking for a cheap accomodation near Villa Escudero?”

This is the I think the best place to stay if you are planning a trip to Villa Escudero on tight budget. It's less than 3km away from the plantation and the facilities are adequate. Might be considering to stay again in case we plan to go back to the plantation.
