The rooms at Thinh Vuong are comfortable and quiet. The air conditioner works well and I was happy to have a small refrigerator.

free upgrade to room with desk, but noisy elevator and water tank system”

​ I booked a Superior Room with Window. The listing showed a photo of a desk, but the room itself had no desk. They upgraded me to the Family Room on the 8th floor. The elevator only goes up to the 7th floor, so I had to take one flight of steps. The family room was spacious with a separate room with a table for working, and the bedroom with two double beds. The 8th floor though, is where the mechanics of the elevator and water tank so you are going to be hearing constant water and elevator sounds.

Value for money”

There is no other place in district 1 with a cheaper room. Clean room, strong air con, nice shower with a comfortable bed. Excellent value for money.

Decent place”

The room is good, had a good sleep. Small argument during checkout as I extended my stay and agreed on a price with a receptionist. The other receptionist preferred to start a discussion and dared telling me that I wasn't supposed to talk prices with anybody but her. Well, that's plain unprofessional, how am I supposed to know. So my recommendation is to book any extension online, they don't want to earn the extra 15% in their own pockets, so give it to agoda with a smile.

did not expect this kind of hotel for the money ive paid,the room quite large,the shower were strong,hot water very good..breakfast simple but make u full untill lunch,reception very helpfull...always greet us with smiles...no hesitation on recommending this hotel to other people.....

Good location near Market and Business center. It is very close to Cental Bus stations from this hotel. Only 7 min, it will take you from your hotel to the bus stop. The staff are very frindly and helpful.

Near the center of city. Breakfast was nice, friendly staff and great room. But the hot water need to improve a little bit

Simple, central, good price, nothing fancy”

Not much to say. For that price of 12$ a night in a private double room, incl. an eggs, toast and coffee breakfast, it beats the one and other backpackers. It was clean, simple, anonym. Helpful staff, organized me a cheap Uber to the airport (80k). Nothing fancy but for s sleepover next to the lively center of Saigon, all okay.

Good value for money”

Room was spacious (and so was the bathroom!) Not too far from the market. It shouldn't be a problem if your room is on the 7th floor as it has its own elevator. Staff was friendly. Fee comes with a breakfast (egg and 2 loaves of bread). The lock in the bathroom was not working, though. Other than that, everything was good.

Perfect location in district 1”

If your looking for a place to stay that won’t costs a fortune this is it. Perfect location for us. A little bit from the most crowded streets but you can walk to all the tourist places. The breakfast is standard with egg and toast and sweet coffe. The room is clean but not so up to date. We will come back again if we’re going to Saigon! Don’t miss Mekong Kitchen, just around the corner!

A decent place, the accommodation was pleasant. The cost is $ 4 per dorm with breakfast of two fried eggs and 2 toasts with thin rings of tomato) + coffee / tea. there was a problem with payment! It was 2 days, I paid for the arrival of the day and the next morning for one more night. Both times they did not write down a payment to the journal, although I asked to be noted. Money was taken and okay, smiled and forgotten. Demand confirmed payment, such issued on demand, so that later there were no problems when leaving.

Quite a good location if you would want to stay away from the bustling area and yet have easy access to it. Hotel is adequately clean and staff is helpful as well.

Great Saigon base”

Old charme building, not the newest rooms but clean and all you need for quiet nights in Saigon. Good location just outside the main tourist area.

Can't believe that big room for 6 beds. Everything is ok but My opinion should repair wc room that perfect.

Cheap & accommodating staff”

The price was cheap so don't expect too much. The location is good depending on your destination. For me, it's a bit far coz I always go to Saigon Centre so I need to walk far, 20-25 minutes. The staffs were accommodating. It's a bit old but quiet. Overall, it's good for its price ($14USD/day).

No Complains”

Stayed here just for a night and it was quite satisfactory. The staff is super helpful and the bed is comfortable. You get to meet some amusing travellers in the dorm room. The WiFi was troublesome when I was there.

The elevator is very old-fashioned. But because the hotel is surrounded by hardware, it is quiet at night and breakfast is very simple. The room is bigger, but the decoration is very old. Having lived for two days, they didn't even clean my house.
