Wigwam”
I was traveling alone to complete some business in Phoenix and my friends in Goodyear recommended Wigwam. It was after New Years and during the pandemic so the room price was excellent and I was practically the only person there. The room was large and clean. Easy walking distance to everywhere on the resort, especially the pool and hottub.

Good & Not-So-Good”
Based on our experience we would not immediately recommend the Wigwam to friends. Good: The property is iconic with Southwest themed architecture, established desert landscaping, well cared for Main Building, Wigwam Bar menu with outdoor dining, and friendly staff. Our Casita was clean, and sinks, tub, toilet drained well and functioned as expected. Not-So-Good: Poor sleep quality for 5 nights due to the loud heater, plus the king bed mattress was a sink hole even when we turned it ourselves; square material substituting as mattress pad slipped and wadded up with every move. Who wants to relocate next day & risk other issues? A gas leak on Christmas Day—indoor fireplaces off & limited menu selection at Wigwam Bar. Not sure how they accommodated the crowd for XMAS Brunch & Dinner in ballroom & Litchfield’s. The gas was back on 26th & menu back to normal. We don’t accuse anyone of anything...the situation just made us say “Hmm” to ourselves & leave disappointed.

We stayed here for a baseball tournament. The resort is beautiful, the boys enjoyed the water slide. They should have designated parking for each room though.

Nice resort”
This was a very lovely place despite the rooms being a bit dated. They were very spacious which compensated for the old feel in the bathroom. We also had a frog but no microwave in our room even though I believe it was listed on the room amenities. Still the resort was very beautiful. We had a great time. I would go there again.

Great Hang Out Spot”
The room I had was huge and extremely comfortable, and I hated to leave. The grounds in the area I was in needed a little tlc, but that wouldn't stop me from coming back. The water slides are so fun, even for the adults, and the food and bar service is so awesome and the staff is great. If you haven't been here, then you should check it out.

Friendly staff. Special recognition to: Holly, Matthew, and Jaime for customer service. Location and vibe/ambiance can’t be beaten. Pools are beautiful and well maintained. The main con was the food. It was expensive and wasn’t that great for the price. Overall enjoyed my stay!

Aged Beauty ”
This resort has a Lot if aged history the rooms are up to date and everything was amazing friendly staff in every direction. The waterpark has two slides for kids to enjoy and have fun across the street is a couple of restaurants and a sports bar .

Great room. Bed was amazing. Lots of food options on site. Great Ambience. Room had high end toiletries however my room had not been stocked up and I didn’t have conditioner or body wash when it came time for my shower. Some parts of the room appeared dusty. Overall great stay though.
