Amazing scenery, great, friendly staff!”

A hidden gem in Chiang Rai, White House Boutique Resort is situated around 30 minutes from the airport. Its location is by the mountains, which makes this a perfect getaway for couples, groups of friends, families, and even companies who would want to do a retreat. Its owners and staff are very friendly; food is authentic Thai. Best of all, there's so much to do in the resort itself! From swimming, to Instagramming, to even just lazying by the houses or by the creek, to stargazing at night or just dipping in the bath tub by the moonlight - it's one of the best resorts in town. Highly recommended!

Peace in the woods and mountains”

The rooms are beautiful and peaceful, surrounded by mountains, forests and paddy fields. There are streams flowing from the waterfall through the resort. Very good environment Breakfast is provided with the resort's own grown vegetables. If I go to Chiang Rai, I will plan to stay here agin. Recommend for Northern Thai style room.

Nice resort with warm welcome from staffs”

The hotel is nice view with all rooms around in area. Hotel have many rooms type for selection even tent to stay in hill. We stay in family room with 3 single and 1 king bed which match with our family. 1 king bed have door to separate area which good if couple join with family.Room have 3 bathrooms which good design for family. Breakfast also small buffet as basic breakfast with egg station and hot meal. Breakfast room in the middle with nice view. The owner give warm welcome by talking to guests and farewell you when leaving which not many hotel do. The impression of mind is my sister forget jacket in room and hotel nice to sent us back without any charge. This is really made me impressed how they care for customer. We will back again for next trip to Chieng Rai for sure.

Excellent”

The resort is very relaxing and the manager was very helpful and friendly to guests. The breakfast is simple Thai breakfast and very tasty especially the congee (rice). It is far from the center but Chiang Rai itself has good accessibility to transportation. It is the best place to stay if you want to relax and read a book or meditate. I will recommend it. But one thing to improve is a spa for the guests.

Good place for the couple and family”

This resort isn't far from the main road of Chaingrai and airport. These is near Wat Rong Khun. This has the very good natural view. Mountain, rice farm and little stream. You can see the foggy atmosphere in the morning. And you can breath the fresh air all the time. The staffs are very friendly. They support me and help a lot. The price is worthy. But breakfast isn't various.

Peaceful resort, friendly staff, iisolated”

We had a great time staying at the resort, though, the price was quite high comparing to the cost of living in the area and we felt that it was overcharged. We stayed at the tent, which only have 1 public toilet and shower room for each gender. The staff are super nice but cleanliness needs to be improve, at the room and at food plates, cups, and etc. If you expect to live to nature, then this is it. But I would recommend the proper room than the tent.

Big Disappointment ”

I often travel to Chiang Rai for my vacation 2-3 times a year. I normally book a place above the city, But for this time, I booked this resort cause I had a 5 Adults and 2 Kids with me. We expected to have a single house from here cause they offer a family suite. But, it was 2 rooms next to each other(I believe the picture they took was intending not to show the whole building, made my family mis-understanding) We arrived there between 1 - 1.30 pm with our cars. There was a Marathon Event. Everyone seemed busy preparing the event and no body came to help guests like us. Reception was not ready to service. Nobody told us where are things or key slot for electricity. A lot of ants in our room. In evening, We were about to drive our car out of car park, A Marathon Staff chased us away rudely. Marathon events used sound system and was very annoyed. Location was ok. It's got 3-4 stars nature Beauty. It closed by to some Attractions. +10-15% more money for else on above city = MUCH BETTER

Facilities needs touch up”

Torch light in room does not work. But I did inform the owner. The metal bride adds character to the resort but gets slippery with water from the fountain in the pond and morning due. Quite dangerous when one slips

Beautiful view and fresh air”

Beautiful view and fresh air with a polite staff and local people are so kind. But the resort don't have a restaurant or cafe so you have to bring it or go out to take a dinner or have a meal.

Great view and friendly staff but that is all ...”

The location is great, the view on the rice fields is great and the staff always very friendly. But ... The rooms are completely overpriced not really what you would expect from a ‘boutique’ hotel. The shower joints were black and there was a smell of confinement as if the rooms hadn’t been opened in a long time. There is a lot of potential in this place but the rooms need to be reviewed

Quiet and Relaxing ”

Located far from town area, even hard to get restaurant by walking distance but the decoration, the environment they create and the good breakfast make me feel would like to come back again

Preferably with own transport to move about for lunch and dinners. Sound of nature with river flows beside individual wooden house.

pros - Located on a foothill, near small canal. Great atmosphere - Tidy room - Staffs are very nice cons - quite far from city center - the whole room design was not practical - breakfast was a bit dissappointed

Lovely place BUT what a shame... do not go in August..”

Pros: Lovely surroundings, serine, natural, peaceful, aesthetically lovely rooms. Cons: agoda, and hotel website indicate rooms were fully booked, in reality 90%of the resort is closed in low season and were being renovated.. only 2 staff were available in reception.. no restaurant or bar(closed except to serve breakfast from 7-9) and the nearest road side restaurant in 1.5km away. No transportation, they lent bicycles to use for the purpose but was raining and not convenient. Only 2 bungalows were rented (4 occupants for the entire resort).. no phone in room. The breakfast was a disaster, served in the open air restaurant (which be lively if it was opened), tables were not clean and had mild on the surface and wee bit coveted weigh Abby table cloth .. on the counter on offer was a plate south 10 overcooked fried eggs (sunny side up) which were probably been there since 7 am.. so at least an hour later they were cold and stale.. they had a microwave to heat your food !! ..

Horrible service - stay away!”

We booked 3 houses for 2 night $100/night. We went beginning of Dec. and the weather was exceptional cold (6°c). We paid for both nights but stayed only one. Location - okay if you have your private car. It’s not within walkable distance to anything. Cleanliness - the lobby, breakfast area, surrounding were quite clean. The golf cart that we sat on had some food sauce all over one of the seat. The houses were dusty. There were spider webs at every corner of the room and around the tv. Facility - The rooms were freezing cold as there is no heater. It was pretty much same as the weather outside. We wore like 3-5 layers of clothing to stay warm in the room trying to sleep. There were no staff when we went to get mor blankets. We ended up sleeping on lobby floor. Staff - the owner did not have a service mind at all. We asked for extra blanket and he was going to charge us extra. We told him about the cold rooms, he didn’t even care and mentioned that it’s the way it is.

The bedding and blanket should be better”

The bed was very tough the blanket is worse than a tent costs thb600/night. I was not warm at all in the 16c night. The restroom is super far from the tent.

-ทำเลที่พักดี -ห้องพักประตูห้องน้ำเปิดยาก,ม่านปิดค่อนข้างยาก, ตำแหน่งฝักบัวทำให้น้ำกระเด็นลงเต็มพื้นห้อง -ห้องนอนยังทำความสะอาดไม่ทั่ว พบเศษขยะอยู่ในเบาะที่นั่งพัก -ระหว่างทางเดินมีสายยางระเกะระกะ ทำให้เวลาเดินตอนกลางคืนอาจจะทำให้สะดุดได้ -ไม่มีไฟตามทางระหว่างเดินไปยังห้องพัก -อาหารเช้า มีน้อยและทำทิ้งไว้เป็นเวลานาน มีมดแมลงตอม -โต๊ะอาหารฝุ่นเยอะ และโซนทางอาหารมีแต่ของวางเกะกะ
