Fantastic location and very friendly and professional staff”
Fantastic location at the V&A Waterfront, walking distance from restaurants, bars and shopping malls, and it has an internal entrance linked to one of the shopping malls. The breakfast was really good and the staff really friendly and very professional. (Please note that they do not have a live egg station, but you can order any type of eggs you want at your table). Hotel is located on the marina and very close to the various tour operators for boat trips, helicopter tours, Robben Island ferry and on the way to table mountain cable car. There is also a hotel car transfer to and from the airport that you can book through the hotel. There is also an outside pool with good space for chilling in the sunbeds. We had a fantastic holiday, and never felt unsafe in the V&A Waterfront area, and could always walk everywhere. We highly recommend The Table Bay Hotel!

Impeccable service, wondeful stay”
Cape Town is such a wonderful place, and made better by staying at The Table Bay. It is in a super convinient location being connected to the V&A Waterfront. Lots of shopping and restaurants there. It’s walking distance to many places of interest. The room is spacious and the bed is divine. Too comfortable. Room service was great. The spa was also very good. The best thing - the staff. Impeccable service, always friendly and helpful. Thank you to Bradley, Patrick and all the others whose names I didn’t get. Fabulous, fabulous stay!

Lovely hotel in the heart of Capetown”
We're group of 12 people, booked his hotel to join Safari tour then join the cruise ship. First, I picked this hotel as I saw the view of Table mountain from the hotel, also the hotel photos gallery that look so nice. Once we arrived. It's one of wonderful hotel indeed, good service, good food and very good price, a bottle of wine is very reasonable price as we first had lunch there after long drive back from Game reserved. We're stayed there for couple nights, the hotel locate exactly on the bay where the cruise ship also dock behind the hotel. You can walk around in tourists area very easily, the mall, shopping places, restaurant. Also not too far from Table mountain which stunning view from above. The staff were very helpful. They've even help carry all luggages to the ship.

Excellent Stay , However .. ”
The hotel is excellent in general , room are comfy , nice views back and forth , good breakfast , the staff were phenomenal , specially Bradely , Andrew , sharleen and Jamal (The concierge ) , they were very helpful and Bradely can organize to u the best activities and tours in a very convenient and flexible way , he was the man for the Job . If i come back i would contact this guy and let organize my trip again . On the otherhand my wife didn't like the Spa unfortunately ,they need to improve the service The prices were a bit high compared to the facilities and the room size . Its not the best in the world but its a great hotel in Cape Town

Best at the Waterfront”
We have been to CapeTown many times but after trying other hotels, we are drawn back to stay at the Table Bay. It is so convenient and is tried an true. The breakfast buffet is delicious and you can order eggs on top of it. They serve late night snacks or dessert and tea with a view of the water. The rooms are spacious but do not have a lot of drawer space in them. Our only complaint this time was an awful fish smell from the factory next door that made its way up to our corridor. As soon as the wind shifted it went away but it was pungent! The view of Table Bay Mountain and Lion's Head was worth every penny!

Perfect location in Cape Town”
Loved thelocation right on the Waterfront close to bars, restaurants and shops - perfect. We paid extra for a superior room with mountain view and were not disappointed. The room was large, spotless and hat stunning views of Table Mountain and the harbour. The quality of the toiletries and fittings were excellent. Breakfast was a real treat on the terrace and offered one of the largest selection of food anywhere. The only criticism was that you may have to wait for a table at peak times but this was not a major issue. The best test for me was would I stay there again - in this case yes and the sooner th better. Loved it.

Great location”
Overall very good. Excellent breakfast, but they don't appear to have enough space to accommodate everyone when the hotel is full and they set up spill out areas. Standard of accommodation is good and the hotel is very well furnished. Friends had a Table Mountain view which is recommended. We had a room overlooking the pool and out towards Robben Island which was better than some other friends. It is a 5* hotel, but the standard of service at times lets it down. We were always asked at breakfast what we wanted, but occasionally had to ask once or even twice to get what we wanted. Bar service was also slow at times. At very busy times getting to and from the hotel can take time because of a crazy traffic system so bear in mind if you need to get somewhere quickly. Overall we had a great stay, but the hotel management need to improve service levels to make it what I would call a 5* hotel.

Beautiful hotel with the most convenient location ”
Pros: grandeur, location, room size, lovely breakfast Cons: luggage came in my room 30-40 minutes after check-in, and the same happened at the time of checkout, luggage took 35 minutes to come down. pool is not heated. This is not expected of a hotel the size of table bay.

Exceptional”
The staff were friendly and attentive. Love the ambiance of the lobby good location. It's connected to the mall and restaurants. Accessible to all. Our room was facing the Table Mountain, the view was so relaxing especially when we arrived tired from our whole day tour.. it make us feel not wanting to go out. The linen was so white and soft, so comfy. The only thing that I don't like was the night-bed turn down, it's a little bit late for us. Coz it's not yet done whenever we arrived from our dinner. We stayed for four nights., of course the staff asked us if we need something-that's appreciated but we're tired already and don't want to be disturbed. But that's a small thing to rant. Checking in and out was so fast. All in all I love this hotel and wanted to stay again in the future.

Exceptional”
As always, the Table Bay did not disappoint. When we told the staff I like cream in my coffee, each morning they saw to it that I got cream and not milk. Our rental car had a dead battery and the concierge came out with a fellow staff member to start it in seconds. Overall, a great value!

Satisfied”
Well located. Excellent views; mine was to the ocean. Breakfast was quite filling and delicious and satisfied all tastes. We took use of the free shuttle bus. It was only the two of us on the Mercedes SUV to and from Table mountain. Directly connected to the mall. Security is every where.

Good but not excellent...”
We were allocated a handicapped room. Apparently our booking agent requested it. I did not. The hotel has perhaps the very best location in CT. But this comes at a price. The service was good but not outstanding. In certain areas the hotel is a little tired (the on-line TV films didn't work properly), the shower door loose (maybe a s a result of the "walk-in" big door to accommodate the wheelchair access). Overall I was disappointed they didn't re-allocate me another standard room with a working TV. It was offered but only after the first night os a two night stay. And that'd have entailed a room move which would have taken time from our only day in CT. This was the end of a three week tour of South Africa, and this was by far the most expensive hotel we booked. Many of the smaller, lower starred hotels were as good, and some better. I'm not sure I feel that I'd want to return. And that's a pity as I feel this could have been outstanding. But it missed.

relaxing week”
Stay was fine but hotel getting a bit shabby inside. We have stayed before. Housekeeping was a bit of a problem (no ice provided and water in ice bucket not emptied at all.) Mould in shower & bath plug not working.Picture light hanging loose.Damage inside cupboard. No promised newspaper. Small things but this shouldn't be, as it's one of Cape Towns best hotels. But, on the whole a pleasant stay.
