Lovely little Hotel with Excellent staffs”
Enjoyed the 2 nites stay at the hotel. Small hotel but very clean and very well maintained. The small garden in the middle of the hotel compound added to the nice homely hotel ambiance. Breakfast choices were limited but what they provided was very delicious. We make used of the hotel car and driver for RP350,000 per day for 12 hours. Very worth it. The Driver Pak Yul was very friendly and accommodating. After staying ffor 2 nites at Sriwijaya Hotel, we went to Bukittinggi, sent by Hotel car & driver Pak Yul. We even called him to pick us up at Danau Maninjau to Padang town but stayed in another hotel. The next day we had a very early morning flight and again uses the service of Pak Yul. He was always on time and very reliable.Can't thank him enough. Kudos to The Sriwijaya Hotel for having such wonderful staff.

the staff very helpfull when i asked them about how to catch the nice place at padang.They also offering me for rent a car to take a tour around padang and bukit tinggi, their driver it's totally nice,and kind. he took to every place that i want to go,and he suggest a place that we should to go. the room quite good,comfortable,eventough the bathroom a lil bit small,but it's not a big problem. the breakfast,good enough for that value

Very unique, small room but cute and cozy”
The first thing that the staff asked upon my arrival with my wife was whether we were married. And they really do their checking, going through our passports to ensure that we were really husband and wife! The hotel has a set of rules with the first one being you are not allowed to stay with other than your spouse. The rules also set out the prohibition of bringing in liquor, firearms, knives and gambling. To me this is really unique! As a muslim and as any person who upholds good ethics, this set of rules should be highly commendable. The next best thing about this hotel is its cleanliness. I've never stayed in any hotel which is as clean and as "cute" as this one. Although the rooms and the garden are small, but they are really well-kept and clean. The only setback about this hotel is it does not have cafeteria. Although breakfast is served, you have to go out for lunch or dinner which is not hard to get since restaurants are aplenty nearby. The staff are helpful and very corteous which makes staying at this hotel a very pleasant one.

Nice clean hotel with friendly service ”
Checked in 13th Feb 2013, stayed a night. Its a cosy little hotel with small rooms but overall the hotel is very clean and well kept. The location is quite convenient walkign distance to Padang beach with many seafood stalls and restaurants. Buffet breakfast in included in the room package, basic but sufficient. Staffs are friendly too.This hotel is good for those who need a clean and safe hotel for overnight.

Simple but nice”
I enjoy my stay in Sriwijaya Hotel. We stayed at the 3rd floor as we predicted. But, we don't mind. You got what u paid. Room is clean,AC is nice,Shower is also good. A little bit noisy, u can hear voice if your neighbor talking next to your room. And since the hotel located at the main road, u can still hear the traffic.

Me and my daughter really enjoy during our stay at the hotel because it is very convenience for both of us to go for shopping and relax in the room. Even though the room is quite small but is very clean and cozy. Both of us feel so relaxed during our stay at the room. The hotel staff also very kind to arrange for us the taxi and breakfast as early at 5:30 am.

Clean comfortable room with great ownership”
We arrived in Pedang late and in the middle of a heavy downpour. The staff helped us into the hotel with umbrellas and quickly checked us in. The room was clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, we arrived to late to eat at the restaurant and thought we would go hungry. A member of the family that owns the restaurant drove us to another restaurant to get us food and ensured we would have an early morning taxi to take us to the airport. I can't say enough about the courtesy we were shown!

Excellent budget hotel”
We stayed for two nights at this hotel in September 14. The hotel is a little hotel with beautiful garden. The rooms were very comfortable and clean albeit a bit small. The facilities were good with hot shower, flat screen tv and coffee/tea making facilities provided. Breakfast was okay. Overall, it was a pleasant stay. Highly recommended.

I stayed at The Sriwijaya Hotel for 1 night. The good news is that the hotel is asthetically good, nicely done and beautiful and you get exactly that. I was diappointed with the size of the room. I was expecting a bigger room in terms of size since it was supposed to be sufficient for 2A+2C. The only thing that was satisfactory in terms of size is the big bed I requested. There would not have been enough space for an extra bed for the children. The layout of the room and its furniture is cramped and there was not enough space for me to open my luggage. The bathroom was small and a little odd shaped because in the shower area there was a "wall" blocking the shower head and it was pointed more towards the shower curtain, meaning I found myself rubbing against the shower curtain, gross! This is a SYARIAH HOTEL, which means only married couples can stay in a room together and WILL be requested to prove their marriage. I ordered Go-Massage and the male masseur was not allowed in.

staying is was great with staff at the reception was friendly.Free bike can be use for the hotel customers.Location wise was great as there are few shops open till late night.Just a bit noisy in the morning because school is just opposite the hotel.And another problem no lift provided only using stairs.Good value for money

Me and my friends satisfied with the hotel. The staffs are friendly, the location is strategic, the room is clean. If you plan to only for sleep the hotel is more than enough,, but if you are on honeymoon off course it is not the best place :) overall,,, great! Only the air conditioner was not cold enough.

I was here for one night with my wife. The hotel was great (clean,comfy,cheap price). The staffs are polite, except 1 woman staff who is serving the breakfast menus has a stern face when my wife ask some help. The room is a 'lil bit small but no problem for us. The breakfast is average, nothing special and has a few menu choices.

3 days in padang”
Sriwijawa main building/entrance and reception look very good and clean. The surprise was to enter in our room and discover a very small, dark and humid place. It was impossible to open the window because the room was a mezzanine. They never changed the sheets and never cleaned the room. The staff didn't speak english and this was an issue to exploit the facilities. Breakfast was accettable. Padang city is very dirty, no one speak in english, the environment is completely obsolescent and even if the coast and beach could be beautiful they are scattered by empty bottles and rubbish. What a pitty!!

Budget hotel”
im at business trip to padang, trying to seek budget hotel, it seem this hotel is not bad, in fact it has great features like Wifi, Hot water, Welcome drink, and least but not last Air Conditioner. i was thinking if the hotel can pick me up from the air port to the hotel adn i was told it was Rp. 120.000. but my flight delayed almost 3 hour, and when i arrive to the hotel, they inform me that they charge me for Rp. 25.000 / Hour, that mean i have to pay almost Rp 200.000 , i think this is rediculious its almost the same as the hotel rent/room/day.

The room is clean , nice staff. Feel homey with nice garden view in front of restaurant. Wifi is available in every room with good speed. But the hotel is located in front of main street, so it is very noisy during night, even we can hear people talking outside the room.

i like thid hotel coz homey, feel like at home just like big house with many rooms, event small rooms but comfort. small bathroom...the brekfast should servr more early ex at 5 am. coz when i check out at 6 am. they have no breakfast to serve.
