Great view but minim car parking space”

I reserved a Deluxe Double Room in The Square for one night before take off at 08:15 AM next morning. Operator greeting me warmly in the midst of busy to serve the cliff dweller. He just need my complete name while I told him I have booked from agoda. After leave bail about IDR for a moment he give me a room key with access card for lift. There's no drop off zone. The car just park in basement than you pass through a lift to a lobby on 1st floor. LG, G, and UG Floor is arcade like cafe and mini market. Furniture's design is modern minimalist with access card for security to go higher floor. 7, 8, 16, and 17th floors are set to be Hotel and other as apartment. The room is nice, tidy, clean, relatively large with view to Surabaya city. One thing is beyond my estimate is there is mini bar and mini kitchen in a room. This is my first room that has hotplate electric and dishwasher tub, maybe because the theme is hotel apartment. Function of everything in the room is alright, good bed, bathroom and faucets, TV+remote, telephone, wifi, AC, lighting, refrigerator, and there is mecca direction for Muslims. Maybe one note from me about the vibration of AC compressor that placed outside room little felt on the bed in the silence of the night, but it does not matter. In the morning about 06:00 AM, the distance from the hotel to the airport about 20 minutes, because the hotel is close to the Rungkut Toll Gate.

Visiting friends ”

I selected this hotel based on price and reviews, I found the staff very helpful. I only had to ask for something and they were only to happy to help me. Well worth booking the airport shuttle. I arrived in the late evening, very tired, and so was relieved to see the driver there to pick me up. My room was cleaned everyday and fresh towels provided. Breakfast at 50,000 rupiah was good value as there was a wide selection available. Location of The Square is great. Used the local transport to visit different shopping plazas and Surabaya Zoo. Indonesian people are very friendly and welcoming. Most people will say hello, wave hi and smile. The Square was 30 minutes drive from the airport via toll roads. I would stay here again. Thanks to all the staff there for making my stay great.

Clean, Neat and a Dynamic Hotel”

This is my second stay at The Square. It is convenient as the hotel is close to my office in Rungkut and also close to airport. Shopping centre Cito also nearby. Love the lively atmosphere around the hotel within the complex; food court, shops and many choice of restaurants with their shocking cheap price but the food is great. This hotel is my second home....( find out the secret beautiful and breath taking "view" around the food court and the arcade ...LOL )

fantastic hotel with big room, comfort”

very fast check in and check out, the receptionist lady is very friendly, we got our room on 16th floor, the room was very clean, big and nice ! we are so happy with the size of the room and bath room, overall room size is 5 meters x 7 meters well equipped with kitchen set as stove and exhaust fan,would come back at this hotel next time we arrived in surabaya, you will feel like stay at 5 star hotel.!! thanks The Square Condotel and AGODA , youre the best!

Good location and best culinary spots”

This is my third stay in this hotel. I love to stay at The Square, beside it is close to my office at Rungkut, This Hotel offer the best price for the quality product and service they have. Love the food and the fitness centre.

Great value for money”

You get features in this hotel which would normally be in a much higher price bracket. The hotel is an oasis in the middle of the chaotic Surabaya suburbs. There are lots of food choices in the food court, and also 24 hour shops within a minutes walking when you need some water or refreshment. The staff were very friendly and the gym and swimming pool were something that you normally would not get in this clas of hotel. It is also habdy having a jug, frudge and sink in the room so you can keep milk or cold drinks nearby for breakfast. To catch a taxi into the city for shopping costs about 50K each way. Originally I was worried this hotel was too far from the city so I sayed only three nights and then moved to another hotel close to the main areas. However I found it was better to live in this hotel as the quality and facilities are so much better, and then just get a taxi whenever you want to go shopping.

Nice apart-otel and clean”

went to surabaya with my father for cousin's wedding and its location (gayung-kebonsari) near to this apart-otel. ground floor was a townsquare with restaurant, cafe, beauty salon, stationery shop, and a mart with all amenities needed. we arrived at 10am and they let us checked in early since our room was ready. lift to the floor room functioned with card access. cable tv got many channels so my father approved to keep watching his fave shows, clean bathroom consist of shower, washstand & toilet, with soap, shower gel & shampoo provided. we loved having a sink on the kitchen are with electric stove & electric water boiler. they gave us instant coffee & tea but we could buy more on a mart below the hotel. love the apart-otel room looked with one red wall as an accent. too bad we had a tight schedule so i couldn't get into the pool. though the hotel's busy since it's the same time with petra university's graduation day, they could hold on the fort & we didn't feel crowded at all. would love to stay here again if our business on this surrounding area.

Good value for money”

We booked this place on line at last minutes as our flight was rescheduled to later hours(weren't initially planning to stay overnight in Surabaya after completing our trip to Bromo and Malang). It was actually an apartment available also for daily rent, and it certainly met our need: relatively close to the airport (only 15-20 minutes by taxi), but not that far away from city center. Being next door to Petra University, you could expect the presence of all amenities essential to college students, like affordable eateries, coffee shops (there is a Starbucks at LG floor), 24hr convenient store, etc. There were always taxis standby in front of the building any time, so mobility was never an issue. We booked 5 deluxe twin rooms at almost unbelievable rate, and were very pleased at what we got. The rooms were spacious (there was more than enough space for an extra bed, if you ever needed one), with bathrooms of just a right size. As they were actually studio apartments, each room came with a small kitchen. It also had a small fridge and an electric water kettle, although coffee/tea bags were not provided. The beds were very comfy (King Koil if I'm not mistaken) and we all had a good night sleep. Overall, this accommodation was great value for money, and I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Surabaya.

smart, modern and yet fantastic hotel”

It is a memorable stay with The Square! Room is clean and spacious, the bed is so comfortable, room is touched with modern minimalist style. Friendly staff at the Front Desk and very professional!. Amusement area is just down two levels from the lobby for varieties of foods and drinks, and even a Karaoke, all are at a very cheap price! Had tried the Gym for a while at no cost and enjoyed the fresh air by the swimming pool next to the lobby. Free internet in the room round the clock is one thing I like that I can work in my room. ATM machine is also available. Very convenient hotel to stay and for sure I will come back!

The best hotel and hospitality with smile”

I and my wife were very enjoy stay at the square...the hotel have best location and near from downtown..the hotel have complete facility such swimming pool,food court..we recommend traveler when leave to Surabaya to stay at the square... When we arrived the square and opened the room, we really surprised it didn't have mat. So the floor room very wet after we finished bath....

Great hotel”

i stayed here for the sole purpose of staying relatively close to the airport which was about 20 minute ride costing about idr. i arrived in surabaya at 7pm and was leaving at checkout time the next day. the room & bathroom was large and very clean. bed comfy and good a/c. i was on the 9th floor with a terrific view. there are some restaurants at the street level as well as starbucks and a convenient store. staffs friendly and quick. cable tv had all channels & many in english. has a minibar/fridge also as well as coffee/tea with kettle; sink and stove (though i didn't use the stove). i would recommend this hotel for sure. one drawback was the hot water ran out rather quickly i thought even with switching on the hot water heater switch.

Me and my family are repeating guest here because there's no place to compare when we stayed in Surabaya. A spacious room with comfortable and modern-design bed and bathromm equipped with simple cooking utensil. Suitable most for family, couple, even solo traveler. I'll definitely recommend this serviced Apartment to anyone who comes to Surabaya.

Good place to stay. The Square is close enough from the airport. Friendly staff and the room is very comfortable at very affordable price. Breakfast is served on buffet style with attractive varieties. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Lovely hotel”

Design of the hotel is very good. You won't wasteyour money for this. This hotel not far from airport and the city centre. Taxi base are infront of this hotel and all the taxi driver in surabaya knows this place. Beautifull landscape from all your room. Most of all, there is a Sturbucks in lower ground of this hotel. Enjoy :D

Check Room's Compliteness (Spoon, Teapot) First”

This hotel is a new hotel, all the furniture was new. A little hard to find the hotel lobby at the first time, because the entrance is in the food arcade. And takes a little longer to check in because the front desk staff is still new too, so less agile. Arrived in the room I was very pleased with the atmosphere of the room. Comfortable bed, there is a mini kitchen which is very helpful, the bathroom was also clean and spacious. There is also wifi here. When i made a tea, i realized that the spoon provided was only one, but I thought it was already supposed to be like that. But when i went to check out, this is disputed by the room boy who checked the rooms. Fortunately receptionist accept my explanation and made a statement that I do not lost the spoon. It took a very long time to check out because of this issue. But except that, everything is fine. I checked out at 4 am and the receptionist was still ready to serve. One more thing, do not forget to make sure that your identity card has been returned by the reception after you check in and pay a deposit. Because my identity card is not returned, and I did not check it. Fortunately, my parents lived in Surabaya and finally went to the hotel to ask for my identity card. The hotel is actually nice just had a very poorly trained staff.

Nice hotel with great value for money”

the square has a great location near airport and city of tomorrow shopping center. the staffs are friendly and helpful. the room is clean and big enough for 2 people. there are numbers of restaurant you can choose at lower and upper ground. starbuck is at lower ground if you like to have your morning coffee. taxi are standing by in front of the hotel for 24 hours if you need transportation. overall, i have a good time staying at the square.

Friendly staff in all area, clean and comfort room and nice breakfast. 3 more arrivals to go then i will get complimentary room voucher, what an offer i wouldn't find anywhere else.Room service is available with choices of chinese food and indonesian cuisine. very convenient hotel. it takes approx 30 minutes from Juanda International Airport. Room is cleannnn. spacious. Staff is very polite. strategic location. many eateries around. facilities provided is very useful. For an average hotel providing these kind of facilities, it's superbb!! if i come back to Surabaya & need a stay near to airport, i will definitely choose this hotel again.

Tasty breakfast, friendly staff ”

This is my second time around staying at this hotel whenever I visit surabaya. The standard was clean, nice view from the top, clean and quite spacious. It takes less than 20 minutes to reached this property from juanda surabaya airport. Definitely will stay here again if I had a chance to visit surabaya.
