Our stay at the Spring Hotel was exceptional. We had no prior knowledge of the hotel, but quickly learned that it was to be one of the highlights of our trip to Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon). Excellent friendly staff, great location for exploring by foot or by taxi, and a wonderful complimentary breakfast served every morning. The superior balcony room was a perfect fit for our comport and enjoyment, and provided a wonderful night time view of Saigon. I would definitely recommend to my friends and family, look forward to staying here again when returning to Vietnam.

Every time we are in Ho Chi Minh City, we stay at the Spring Hotel and we have never been disappointed. Excellent service from the moment you step out of the taxi and head towards the front desk to the moment you hope in the taxi again to leave. The staff remember us and are always delightful and cheerful. the rooms are spacious and tidy and the breakfast in the morning is quick and served with a smile. We have brought family and friends here to stay and they like us can't say enough about the kind courteous staff. Can't wait to come back again.

The Spring Hotel is possibly the best hotel experience, for the value, that I have ever had. The room is very clean and comfortable, the included breakfast is superb and the English speaking staff are unbelievably accommodating and friendly. I look forward to staying at the Spring every time I am in Ho Chi Minh City. What a gem!

Excellent Service and Location”

The room they provided us was not big, we had a good view of Ho Chi Minh. I was very happy with the staff, they provided us with maps of the district and gave us directions. The location of the hotel was also perfect, it was a 10min walk to everywhere we wanted to go and see.

Lovely hotel and great service”

i stayed in the spring hotel for my 4 nights in hcmc. it is located in the heart of the city centre, a short walk from many shops and eateries. the service was excellent, right from the very moment the door of the taxi opens on the spring's doorstep. the staff were there to assist with baggage, check-in was a breeze, wifi connection was fast and reliable. even the cleaning staff were very helpful. the package i had includes breakfast every morning, and the bar staff were kind enough to let us take away the food on the days we had to leave the hotel early. with its reasonable price and excellent service, i would definitely recommend the spring to anyone heading to hcmc.

Spring hotel is located in district 1 in Ho chi minh city. it's nearby the people's committee building and the bazzar. The location is quite good. Moreover, the staff there is friendly and always smiling. However, the room is not that big and a bit old.

Great location, lovely hotel with good service”

I went there for a course with my dearest wife. The location of the hotel is strategic, basically we just walk, and almost go through all the interesting destination around the Ho Chin Minh city. The Wifi connection very good, nice breakfast, and the staff were very friendly. They even reminded us to be careful of our bag when we decided to go out at night. Recommended for those budget travelers, who wish to get a good accommodation.

A very good location within walking distance of many attractions in central Ho Chi Minh City. Clean and comfortable with a friendly and helpful staff. Quiet room isolated from traffic noise. Good value.

Nice inexpensive 3 star hotel in great location”

i really enjoyed staying at the spring hotel, the area was great and there were penty of local places to eat at within a short walk. we requested one large bed and one single for our 12yr old son and the big bed was huge! we booked a car/driver to the cu chi tunnels (because we didn't need another bus trip) and they provided one inside 12hrs notice and at a great rate. the ben thanh market is only about 5 blocks away on the same road. there are also a number of department stores and a supermarket within 2 blocks of the hotel. overall a rather pleasant stay and highly recommend it. great value and good location.

The Spring Hotel”

Spring hotel in Ho Chi Min was okay. I think once you go to smaller cities in Vietnam you will find the service in Ho Chi Min is not as great. The staff at Spring Hotel do not genuinely smile that much, they are hospitable and answer your every question but they don't go that extra mile that you are after. the breakfast was great and they offer you large portions. Again we hired a scooter like in Hanoi and we found that to be the best way to get around. it was more expensive than in Hanoi though. the bathrooms were nice and the room had a large bed, not as hard as other beds too which was great!

Should be three star”

Family owned and operated, the Spring Hotel is not only a good buy, it is well run, super clean, and a block east of the new VinCenter and Hyatt Hotel (next to the Opera House) one block north of the Refinery (a collection of restaurants) and two blocks from the Caravelle and Center Cafe (good cafes for business meetings). The service is excellent and includes wifi in your room. They can do everything from call a cab, change money, recommend places, and move your belongings. Send out the laundry, it arrives on hangers and is placed in your room. Completely trustworthy I felt no need to lock my computer, ipod or belongings. The breakfast each morning comes with a tray of local fruits and freshly squeezed juice. Folks unfamiliar will enjoy the bathrooms where the shower is part of the room: common in Vietnam, very uncommon in the U.S.

Great hotel in a great location”

this hotel is in a prime location of hcmc and the price they offer is impossible to beat. the room is rather small but it didn't bother me much because i was out all the time. what i adore the most about this hotel is the service. the staff is very helpful and attentive. after three nights staying in the spring hotel, i stayed two nights in continental hotel which is much more expensive. but i somehow missed the service i got in the spring during my stay in continental.

Great hotel with excellent service”

Excellent place to base yourself when visiting Ho Chi Minh City. Close to all the shopping areas, great cafes and restaurants and the staff are amazing. Breakfasts are simple but are great when your in a rush.

Nice and Tidy”

Great hotel, staff and location. This is a typical 2 star hotel in terms of facilities but the staff and service make it feel like a 3 star. It's close to everything in District 1, has a very good on site restaurant plus there's good local and international restaurants right on it's street. I would stay here again. The spa around the corner on Thi Sach (My Spa, 15 Thi Sach St) is outstanding: Vietnamese pricing ($15 for 90 minute massage) but international quality in a beautiful facility. I would start or finish each day there.

Excellent location and helpful staff”

we had a very enjoyable stay at the spring hotel in hcmc. the location in district 1 was a good base for exploring the city and was within walking distance to many sights. the staff were always helpful. our double room with bathroom was quite small, however, it was sufficient for us, and had the biggest bed i'd ever seen! the hotel and room was clean, with fresh linen every day. enjoyable breakfast. the hotel can provide a pickup service from the airport (for an extra charge). recommended.

Good location and Kindness hotel”

i stayed at 2 night with my wife and this is my second stay at spring hotel. all staffs were extremely kind and every environment was clean and well set. especially location is wonderful and almost interesting point is located within working distance. near hotel (2 min by work) there was good bbq restaurant with good price and good foods. i wish to stay this hotel again if i have a chance. but the only not to good was rice noodle of hotel restaurant. rice noodle is most famouse in the vietnam but taste was not enough to enjoy. thanks to all staffs of spring hotel.

Cool”

It was the first time to stay in Vietnam though I have been traveling a lot around all corner of Asia since 1999. I've heard many things about Hochi Minh and Hanoi. But those information doesn't fool me. I was happier more than those prior input. I will try go to Vietman with my whole families again in near future. Sure... spring hotel is a really good option.

Old world charm, well maintained and friendly ”

The spring hotel was a pleasure to stay at. I tend to favour modern clean functional hotels but the old world charm if this hotel, including it's lovely trompe l'oeuil in the dining area, added a touch of legendary saigon feel. Superbly located, and directly opposite a superb Vietnamese restaurant, Chi Hoi.

Great hotel would recommend”

We arrived into SG airport at 10:30 pm and cleared customs, retrieved bags by 11:30, late in my opinion yet staff arranged for a car to be waiting to take us to the hotel. Staff was there to carry our bags from the street to the room, front desk was quick and got us checked in with no hassle. Breakfast, was great and tasty with fresh fruit cut to order, great coffee and friendly staff. Tours were booked and we're a great value. When back in Diagonal, I will stay at the Spring Hotel and highly recommend to those looking for a great hotel.

Good location and friendly staff”

The room we stayed in was quite basic but ideal for what we wanted it for. Clean room and clean bathroom. We had our laundry cleaned by the hotel and it was done very well compared to some hotels we'd been too. Very slow lift. Breakfast was nice too and included. We often went out for a drink at nearby pubs and the doormen still quite happily opened the door for us when we got back. About 4 blocks right and then 4 blocks right again to the reunification palace. So not right next door to these main sites but still walking distance! We also booked a tour to the Cu Chi tunnels through our hotel and got picked up (wasn't dropped off in front of the hotel but the was only a quick walk to get back). Overall great value for money!
