Beautiful resort”

We loved our stay at The Scott Resort. The lobby and common areas are beautifully decorated and service at the Canal Club for evening cocktails and breakfast the following morning was great. The rooms are large and well appointed. We loved spending time at the pool, but wish it was better staffed. Sometimes we had to wait a long time for simple orders like iced tea because our server was so busy. Also if you didn't get down to the pool early (8:30AM) and mark off your lounger with a book and towel, almost all seats were taken by 10AM. Then those loungers would remain empty for hours on end--it would be nice if they more closely managed this. The hotel was lively but not party like. There were two different business conventions on site while we were there and also a number of locals that came by for dinner or drinks. We loved using their bikes to go for early morning rides around Scottsdale and would definitely return.

Great location and property”

We will be back for sure. Location is great. Shuttle service anywhere within 3 miles was superb. The only thing that could have been improved in was the service at the pool. You had to walk up to the bar to order food and drinks. They would bring you food but not take orders when walking around. I think the resort should have 1-2 servers dedicated to people lounging. The hotel was sold out so it was an issue with staffing accordingly. Spa was fantastic too. Rooms were comfortable.

Newly renovated but still lacking... ”

This resort is in a great location in Scottsdale, AZ. Newly renovated but still lacking some things. In our 1st room, the garbage bins was still full with garbage from previous guest and the used bath-rob in the closet was tangled into a ball of the floor. The 2nd room was missing some towels. All rooms have only one small desk chair, and one luggage stool which is not enough and makes the room look empty... Half the rooms of the resort facing the inside court/pool and the other half, facing the resort exterior which is a parking lot 😔

Adorable and friendly ”

My sister and went for a girls trip and absolutely fell in love the second we walked in. Everything is absotlely adorbale down to the keys and key holder. The resort had an amazing feel. Very mordern Cuban. It's definitely geared towards bringing people together and creating memories. There are an abundant of places to gather as friends, coulples, etc and visit. The food was freaking amazing and we weren't disappointed once. The only draw back was that the rooms don't match the rest of the hotel. They are outdated. But we were told by a hotel staff that they are in the process of being redone and should hopefully be done by September. He said they were amazing. Can't wait to go back and check it out!

Great downtown Scottsdale location. ”

We enjoyed our stay at this resort. The rooms were spacious and I appreciated the double mirrors/vanities outside of the toilet/shower area which allowed two people getting ready at the same time very convenient. We found the beds and pillows to be comfortable. The door to our room stuck, making entry difficulty, but upon mention of this to the housekeeping staff, it was repaired within hours of notice. The only negatives we found related to the outdoor area. We stayed on a busy weekend and there was a definite lack of pool loungers--even by 9:00 AM. Several of the loungers and seating areas had bird droppings on them, requiring us to place towels over the soiled areas prior to sitting or lying on them. The pool area was also smaller than we had anticipated, based upon photos and the water in the sandy area was rather murky--probably due to the rocky sand in the actual pool. We did enjoy the attentive pool-side service and the food served was delicious.

Had the best girls trip at this beautiful resort! The resort itself was absolutely stunning with a great vibe. The staff was amazing and made sure we had the best time. Special thanks to Nate, Owen, Benny and the bartenders at the Canal club. The food was delicious and especially loved the sunflower butter with bananas. Will definitely be coming back and staying here again in the future!

Beautiful Oasis in Scottsdale”

The rooms were pleasant, quiet and had a reasonably upscale feel. Agoda pricing was excellent so the extra $35.00/day facilities fee was fine. Our room was in D block second floor. The view, although looking over parking area still had a nice feel as you could also see residential area. Don’t recommend 1st floor if you do not have select pool or lagoon view, as you will be looking at a wall. Pool and lagoon area were beautiful and clean. Some nice evening entertainment. Steps away from lots of sites and very safe and upscale area. Mostly young party crowd but fine.

Loved the staff and spa. Located very close to many things plus they have a shuttle that takes you and picks you up. The only thing I was not crazy about is that they had one small eating place and it was limited menu if you weren't crazy about Cuban food. Had a better in room menu. I would go back and would recommend.

Lacking Attention to Detail”

I was so excited to stay at The Scott. It had been on my radar for awhile. I drove up, and there was not valet person. I checked-in, was told how to walk to my room. No mention of parking, valet, or help with my bags. The real disappointment however was the cleanliness of the bathroom in my room. There was toothpaste all over the vanity, a fingernail clipping on the counter (gross), and the sick made a terrible gurggling noise when I ran water. I will not be back.

Great location- you can walk to Fashion Square or Old Town and they have a shuttle. I waited over an hour for a tech to fix the entry/key card on my door. Additionally, a staff had the wrong room and tried to enter my room later in the evening even when I told him it was the wrong room. Recently updated rooms that are trendy. Bath was slightly dirty.

Very small, overpriced and lacking in some amenities ”

My husband, myself and our two young kids came here on a warm getaway. Long story short, the weather didn't cooperate so we were really stuck looking for activities to stay warm. The hotel was not ideal. The room was TINY, the "extras" were very expensive, and the pool was kept so cold that we couldn't use it. The hot tub was too small and the beds were full, not queen as advertised. We purchased a movie in our room one night but the max volume was too low for us to hear (they artificially lower it) - we called and they said there was nothing to be done. It was a kids movie that we literally could not hear. Aghh. The staff were not informed on obvious asks like golf courses or childcare. However, to be fair - if it were warm, we would have had a much nicer time as the outdoor facilities would have had utility. And the doorman was exceptional. Overall, I'd say pretty overpriced and not a good value.

Worst. Hotel. Ever. ”

This place was awful. It was my 21st birthday and I booked a room close to the bars. Every time I spoken to the staff they were rude and not helpful at all. I had a cake but they told me would fit in the freezer in the room and it was way too small so I called them back to see if they could come pick up the cake and they told me that if I wanted anything done I had to bring it to the front desk myself . (If I’m paying 300+ a night i shouldn’t have to do anything myself if unnecessary!) at night after we went out we came back to the room and it was about 3 AM. We weren’t being obnoxiously loud but we were being exactly quiet either on our way up. when we got to our room. (Just a regular amount of talking and laughing) NOT ONLY DID THEY KICK ME OUT OF MY HOTEL ROOM THEY CALLED THE POLICE. (????) for no reason. They refused to give me money back and left us all with no where to stay. When i say for no reason i seriously mean NO REASON. DO NOT STAY HERE.
