Great place, quiet! Just off main centre! ”
Great place to stay! Was very busy on Jonker street so was nice to stay away from it. Only a short 3-5 min walk! Extremely clean! Very nice staff, only there 2-5 unless you make other arrangements but they give you the code for the door and you can get in! Would Definately recommend

Great Location ”
on the riverwalk a couple of blocks from Jonker St. nice vibe, and the wifi worked reasonably well. The owner also manages two other properties nearby. You actually have to check in at the hotel a few doors down.

We had a really great stay at the riverside cardamom. We were given a river view double room which was beautiful. The owner was really nice and helpful. Thoroughly recommend to anyone. Melaka is a really beautiful city.

Clean and comfortable in a great location”
Pros: very clean, great location, nice sized room, comfy bed, fridge stocked with water and drinks for a very reasonable price, hair dryer available, as well as washing machine on site for very reasonable price. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Cons: Towels would be nice, as it a bit of a pain to pack a wet towel in a backpack when leaving.

the place is good. nice, very clean. almost the best hostel I ever been to. / two staffs are very good. / I passed some money to one of the staff, then I was busy with phone. after finished the phone which was very long, the staff left already. when I back that day, the room was full already, they had to put me in another hostel nearby, which was not good. / however the staff is very helpful, and good attitude. /

Home feel lodge, good facilities, room not soundproof”
The ambiance of the homestay is great, facilities are complete, room and bathroom is clean. Room is NOT soundproof though. Can easily heard conversations from other rooms. Location is great, suitable for a river walk, located near Pak Putra and Asam Pedas restaurants.

It's a nice stay”
The staff is so helpfull and so kind. He explained all the good place to visit and even help us to book a taxi to Masjid Selat. The room is nice, quite spacey. The bathroom is nice too and I love the lounge.

Good but not the best”
I guess I didn't have many options to find such accommodation offered at this price. I took a cab to get here from the terminal. Area seemed a bit sketchy at night but it looked okay during day time. Location is nice, close to a carnal sidewalk that leads to popular tourists spots by 15 min walk. The staff seemed really nice and informative. The room though was a bit of disappointment. Room was super tiny for a bunk bed + single bed. I didn't like their mattress because it was hard and flat. Shower was located next to a small kitchen and it was really tiny too. All in all, not bad!

Good Location and Price”
Make sure you check your email before you arrive for the door code or you won't be able to get in. The owner/operator is rarely around but other than that the place worked out well for us. Very clean and would stay again.

Cleanliness is superb though location is not right at jonker street but is still within walking distance and surrounding is quiet at night and is safe enough to walk alone. Friendly boss and staff. Overall, great place to stay at.
