Here’s the things they need to work on 1.Their insect problem ,1st room we stayed in we had to move because we seen insects in our bed . 2.The second room we moved to had them also the very next day but not as bad 3. One night I came in ,we saw a big water bug or cockroach crawling by our door and the next morning I woke to go to bathroom I saw one too . 4.They gave us old and tattered and dingy bathmats .That should of been thrown away long time ago 5 .There are not face towels in the rooms I noticed that about a few hotels in the area . 6.One good thing is that they had a transformer and the 2 people in restaurant the The Pirates bistro were excellent and the young ladies at the front desk were very nice as well 7.They need to clean the windows and upgrade their WiFi as well

Honest staff”
I forgot the name of 2 receptionists I talked to, but I was so grateful to them. I left my ipad in the room. They went the extra mile and was able to find my number through my agoda reservation. They deserve a raise. Aside from them, all the staff we met were all polite and helpful.

Convenient location”
There’s a 7-11 on the ground floor, a restaurant too! A big park is also just across the building. Restaurants/cafes are a few meters away. All the people we talked to were nice. Very helpful staff! Our room was clean too! Though we had a hard time using the faucet and there was no phone in our room. So if we needed assistance, we would go down to the ground floor. They also have no elevators. It was ok for our 4y.o but I’m not so sure if it’ll be convenient for Senior members of the family. Other that those things, we had a pleasant stay :) We will surely come back ;)

Along Subic boulevard where you can easily jog or ride a bike. Great thing is that there’s an access to the beach at the back and where you can dine al-fresco. Plus there’s a 7-11 store downstairs!

Happy to return to The Reef!”
We needed a last-minute place to stay in Subic as we did not want to sit in traffic going back to Manila. The Reef was top of mind as we were here before. Glad to see improvements on the place! They accomodated our phone in questions before we booked via Agoda. Super good deal! No breakfast included but no worries as there as a lot of good restaurants nearby, plus a convenience store at the actual property.. Looking forward to coming back :)

Stayed here for 4 or was it 5 days? It's clean and spacious. You can bring food. Has parking, has a spa and a restaurant downstairs. It's location also makes it super. I would definitely book again if I'm going to Subic again.

The hotel is clean and the staff are very friendly/accommodating. It's our top choice in Subic because of its location. However, It's not senior citizen friendly. The rooms are on the 2nd and 3rd floor, and there is no elevator.

First time couple ”
It's our first time as a couple to travel long distance. I search through and through because we're on a budget as well. Luckily, we found what fits our budget and met our needs. The location is what i would say the best in the Reef, huge parking space, the view from the room is phenomenal, food is just within reach. Plus, Subic had the weekend Banchetto w/c is just infront of the hotel. We love it! Thank you! And we will try to come back soon. Ipon muna ulit and work work work! Thank you, Agoda!

Family room is just enough for 4 to 5pax. They don't have elevators so not advisable for seniors and pwd, good thing our room is just on 2nd floor. Cleaning wise not so good since our coffee cups have some coffee stains and dust. Beddings seemed old and pillows are not so fluffy anymore. Location wise is very good since it's very accessible to restos within the zone. They have 711 on their left side and their parking lot is an open parking lot accross with a free public park where children can play at the playgrounds.

Customer service is really great and the place is good. The only downside (in my opinion) was not having elevators and a breakfast option. But everything else is all good!

Quick summary: ✅ great service. The frontdesk upgraded 1 of our 2 booked rooms for free since there was a concern on 1 room. ✅ nice view of the bay from our room balcony. The other room we booked with the park view was good as well. ✅ clean rooms. ✅ with toilet bidet. ✅ 7-11 at the ground floor next to the lobby. ✅ Pirates Bistro resto and bar at the ground floor with live performance in the evenings. ✅ Accessible walking distance to the park, Liberty bar, Holy Grounds coffee shop, and other restos. ✅ overall experience waa great for less than 3000++ PhP a night per room ❌ no handheld shower option ❌ breakfast not included but there are nearby options as mentioned earlier.
