NIce Resort style hotel near airport”

This resort style hotel is very close to the airport, which makes it so very convenient. I met a family who were also staying at O Valley so we shared a private taxi for 400bht. Between 4 of us it was economical and we had lots of luggage, we booked him to come back next morning. The hotel is lovely, large rooms with A/C you can monitor, and modern bathroom. Breakfast is fruit, cereal, eggs, toast, fruit drink, coffee. Also traditional Thai breakfast is available. The only problem I had was that no-one speaks good english, thus there was some confusion when I arrived and it took me over an hour to sort it out after talking to a manager by phone. As a hotel who caters for international visitors they really need good english speaking receptionists. I didn't use the pool/spa by he time I got to my room it was too late but it did look nice.

Great budget hotel near the airport”

This hotel is clean and has the boutique look. The restaurant served good food in the evening, but the lack of real coffee in the morning was disappointing, since we find the imitation coffee powder served in many budget places in Thailand to be inedible. But for the budget price, we cannot really complain about something like that. We just walked outside to the Amazon Coffee shop just outside the restaurant to purchase are own fresh coffee.... problem solved. The staff at reception and in the restaurant were friendly and helpful. Are only concern was with security. The hotel is located behind a busy gas station where many people would loiter. Most of the lights outside in the parking lot next to the hotel were not turned on (we stayed there for 3 nights, so this was not a fluke) and there were many people in the dark parking lot that were not guests of the hotel. The 2nd floor landing on building 3 at the elevator was not lit, and felt dangerous as well. All of the staff performed their duties well except the security guards, who never left their chair at the reception entrance because they were busy playing with their mobile phones. This lack of security lighting and security guards not doing their job was the only reason that I did not give and excellent rating for staff and facilities. We will definitely come back the next time we are in Suratthani.

Good budget option”

we stayed for one night in the suratthani before morning flight. the hotel was definitely good. pros: - middle sized room with big bed. - desk in the room. - small refrigerator in the room. - hotel is cheap - plenty of power outlets everywhere also know that you can order a massage to the room, it seems like a good option. but we stayed for one night only and have early flight - so we wasn't interested in this. this hotel seems like very good one for me. i recommend it to travelers, and will stay there again when i'll be in suratthani.

Good hotel if you are on an early morning flight.”

We only stayed at the O Valley Hotel for one night. We arrived in the afternoon after traveling from Koh Tao by ferry and bus and were due to fly to KL the next morning. This hotel is ideally located close to Surat Thani airport. We were disappointed to find no tea or coffee making facilities in the room. However there is a nice restaurant and both dinner and breakfast were good. Wifi was not available on our floor but was available in the reception/lobby area. The lighting was dim in both the shower and toilet and there was no hot water in the hand basin.

Clean hotel close to the airport”

This is a good stop over hotel if you're flying out of the Suratthani airport. I wouldn't stay longer than one night, as its kinda in the middle of nowhere off the side of the highway. They did have a "food court" close by but the food looked like it had been sitting there awhile so we decided to pass. There was a Thai noodle street vendor there too where we got some soup for dinner and also a convenience store for snacks. The hotel called us a taxi the next morning and charged 350 baht for the 15 min ride. Wifi worked well from the courtyard area. Overall, a good stay. I'd stay again if I had a layover in Surat.

This is my second stay at The O Valley Hotel. I found the staff to be very helpful and the hotel is good value for money. Especially when the price includes breakfast. Good distance from airport. I will definitely stay again.

Great for our overnight stay on our way to Hua Hin”

We stayed at the O Valley Hotel overnight, whilst driving through to Hua Hin. We purposely wanted a Hotel just off the highway and this one suited us nicely. The Hotel was very clean, the room service food was lovely and the staff were pleasant. We noticed a lot of people were in a conference there and realised it was a Hotel that catered for business travelers. We would stay here again on our way to Hua Hin.

Nice and clean hotel”

The O Valley Hotel is simple, nice, and clean, but the location is far from the city center. If you not have business in town and you have car, the hotel location is the OK choice. The design and deco is simple. Most of hotel rooms face to center courtyard make customer feel relax and comfortable. This hotel is not expensive for its service, clean room and good breakfast.

Great Room but Difficult to get to without a car”

We chose to stay here because it is close to Surat Thani Airport. The taxi was 350 baht but the distance is only 10 mins drive so that was perfect for our early morning flight. We had trouble figuring out how to get to the hotel by bus from Ranong but eventually caught the Hat Yai bus which dropped us off opposite the hotel (across a main highway). We gave the diver instructions written in Thai to drop us as the 18km mark opposite the Caltex station and that worked (we were heading south). We did have trouble getting this information from the hotel as they sis not reply to emails. We were pleasantly surprised by the deluxe room. The hotel seems to be set up more for conferences and weddings but they have lovely wooden bungalows a the back of the property with spacious modern rooms and a balcony overlooking gardens as well. Despite there being some noise from next door the room was completely quiet. Breakfast provided everything we needed but may not be to every westerners tastes. There is a hot food kiosk area and large convenience store directly in front of the hotel so you can get food easily during your stay. I'd definitely recommend the hotel but advise that you figure out how you are going to get here before you book as it is well outside the city of Surat Thani.

it was a pleasant surprise staying at the O Valley, close to the Airport which is why we stayed here....the rooms were spacious and the breakfast very nice, the price was a major drawcard..I would def stay here again given the opportunity.

I arrived this hotel with my last minutes deal and last minutes travel at almost midnight!!! The hotel is quite cool and close to highway and petrol station but very quite at noon and not such that crowded. The room is very large with 3/5 clean as I can smell a very small bacteria in room and toilet. Overall is good.

Hotel fine/Dinning Disaster”

The O Valley Hotel was a convenient on route hotel, rooms were good. However, the attached dining room was terrible. The staff were focused on one seemingly "important" table while the other 2 or 3 tables, in an otherwise empty, restaurant were pretty much ignored. Place a food and beverage order, about 45 minutes later I had to get up and interrupt a staff member at the counter who was on an electronic device to request further drinks. Another 15 minutes (at least) and the server communicates to us that they do not have what 3 of us ordered available - really after over an hour they figured this out! Then they expected us to reorder and wanted to bring out the 4th order that they had cooked out. After much difficulty we managed to pay for our beverages and leave. Terrible Terrible service which I reported to the hotel front desk, including that they had wanted us to pay for the one dish. Fast food at the 7 eleven in the parking lot was all that was left for us at that time of day, it did turn out to be kind of funny, but still not acceptable. The management did apologize and sent up a fruit tray to the room at 11PM (after we were asleep). This was a nice gesture.

Near Surathani airport”

room is ok but coz still new so i feel abit paint smell but acceptable .i choose standard room tht only malaysia dollar 66 ,value of money ,aircon good functional ,tv all ok ,no kettle for boil water ,toilet with hot water system good .location near to surat thani airport but usually u mst book hotel airport transfer charge u 350 per trip although only 10 mins journey .everything is ok for me n have a nice stay in O valley .breakfast everage only.staff no really good in english so b patient when u wanna ask for sumthing ..

Great location to airport, perfect for transit”

This hotel is very near to airport. We stayed here because we want to catch the morning flight to KL. Airport transfer is provided for TBH350. Breakfast selection was OK,just enough for light start. Our room was spacious,a chalet on its own at the back of the hotel (only few provided for this type). It has nice ambience with a porch in front and soothing small water feature outside. The bed is huge for us, small Asian people. Muslim food is also available outside the hotel & small massage centre. This hotel is really worth the money.

Very convenience ”

We choose here, because we were travelling to Yala and we didn't want to stay in the city. This hotel is on the main road and we can easily continue our journey without passing troughs the morning city traffic jam. Breakfast is average but eatable. Room is large and clean. Internet speed is high. Worth of its price for only a short stay. Food in the cafe is good.

5* Hotel for a 3* price”

We booked this hotel only for a night between a flight and our next travel. The hotel far exceeded our expectations! We have stayed in many different hotels (including high-end 5+star hotels) and this has been the best value and one of the best in service. We arrived late, and the restaurant was able to prepare a small meal and even cut our fruit plate into heart and flower shapes! It is definitely out of the city, but we were not there for that experience so it was perfect for us. Even for people who want to visit Surat Thani, I would recommend staying here and taking a taxi into the city because it was so nice!

great service from the staffs”

the o valley hotel, located 10mins from suratthani airport. a very strategic location. it is only 15mins drive from the hotel to surat thani town. a very good location hotel i can say. you can have private taxi/cab to the town for around 350baht per way per car from the hotel. the staffs there are very friendly and overall good service and good hotel at reasonable price.

Great hotel at great location”

Although somebody here mentioned it was behind a Caltex pumpstation, it was behind a PTT pumpstation, so next time if somebody gives information, please make sure it is correct! The hotel lies on a quiet place, the room with garden view on the second floor was clean and big. There's a separate toilet and bathroom. The bed is comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpfull. The breakfast was included and is what you can expect for that. Western food is the usual (toast, jam, chicken sausages, fried egg, fruit) and some Thai food (fried rice, white rice, fish, chicken, mild soup), but the taste was good, so no complaints. Overall it was a pleasant stay and we certainly come back again.

A budget hotel that gives what budget hotel does.”

I booked here for my short stay in Suratthani (only 1 night) during my business trip. The location is okay as it is very close to the airport and CO-OP. However, it's pretty far away from the downtown (around 30kms.) and it will be nearly impossible if you don't rent the car to travel to downtown. The Staffs are nice but I believe they could tweak them more. The hotel facilities are pretty much at low level standard. Toothpaste is not provided. Hair Dryer is provided upon request but with such a very small quantity so it depends on your luck whether you would get one or not. The room is okay but not what I would say very clean. There is no fitness or gym center. However, the pool is provided and is very nice. It's a convenient hotel is you are looking for a place near CO-OP or airport. Though, I believe you could find better hotel for other purposes.
