Great value, spacious room and quiet alley”

This was my favorite place to stay since staying at Langbiang Art Station in Dalat. It also had quiet rooms and helpful staff. It is a great price for Saigon and I recommend the private room. I did some work from there as the internet is super fast. A great stay. Thank you!

Laid back homestay”

The staff is friendly (consisting of a brother and sister), but only one of them speaking english. Else it is possible to communicate through google translate. They where very nice to let us stay in the "reception" waiting for check in and after check out. And they also helped us finding a place to wash our motorbikes and change oil in the meantime. They also took our laundry for 1 dollar/kg, and the clothes came back good smelling and rather clean (got pretty dirty clothes back one time, and often very humid). The room was OK, but the walls were a bit dirty and there was a sewage smell from the bathroom. Bed was very soft to be here in SEA. Shower was though of the best we had on our trip, with good heat controlling and OK stream. Location is in District 1, but not directly in the backpacker area. About 10 min walk to get there, so not too bad. Also: They have a friendly cat and a small dog(barking), but if you are allergic or not like it, this place is probably not for you.

Nice clean house, maybe smaller than expected but just enough room for a couple. Located abt 10 mins drive to central area and super close to station market and nice local food shop.. But we basically walked everywhere cuz its walkable distance :) Host responded quite quick with our enquiries.

Oldschool's staff really helped us when another house was canceled at short notice. They tried to do everything we could to check in real quick. We were very grateful for that. The apartment is very well located, in a surprisingly quiet area. Thank you for all of the support!

Great stay in HCMC. The room was spacious enough for a couple to stay in. The bed was super comfortable; one of the most comfortable accommodation’s bed I have ever experienced!. The bathroom amenities were well-maintained. Free bottles of water every day was a big plus. Wi-Fi was working very fast. I would totality stay at this hotel again if I come back to HCMC.

It's a good deal to stay in the place that take few minutes to the centre. Thoudsands of local food around the place as well. The staff here are also super helpful and friendly. I couldnt ask for anything else at this place!

I like the location of the property. It’s walking distance going to the Bui Vien street. Going to the centre is also easy. Near a market where it has tons of local foods to give a try. Room space was big enough, very clean, & staff were very accommodating and helpful. Will surely book again if I return on HCMC.

The staff is very welcoming - they even let us check in a couple of hours early. The accommodation was very convenient. Great price if you book in advance.

There are better place with similar price”

The bedroom was kinda dirty with strains of hair all over the floor. the reception area looked very messy because it looks more like a living room of a house rather than a hotel. The receptionist at times were lying on the couch (and that's where they sleep too at night) but at least they're friendly. The water pressure from the shower was kinda low probably because I was staying at the 2nd floor. No toilet paper provided so you gotta bring your own. Wifi & a/c are ok.

I really want to give a high core to this place. Great location, great value and great space. The property has a 24-hour front desk, a shared kitchen and currency exchange for guests. I have been guided by the staff here, they are quite thoughtful and i like that. My room is also clean and cute. Everything was just perfect

This accommodation has a vintage vibe, as I asked my Vietnamese friend about the unique concept of this place. The space is not huge but sizable for a couple, that's enough for me. Also it's surrounded by many delicious local food. Love this place!
