Great comfortable base from which to explore”

As a group of 3 adults and 1 young child we really enjoyed our stay at Nidhra. Tae was extremely welcoming and spoke great english, the food on offer was very good quality and with decent variety, and the location turned out to be an excellent base from which to explore Koh Phangan. In terms of the room itself, it was small and functional but very well formed - the bed was high quality and comfortable, sheets were good cotton and were changed whenever we wanted. The balcony was great for relaxing after a long day. Showers were also high quality and always had hot water. We'll return to Nidhra.

Excellent value”

We had a great experience at Nidhra. We booked only for 2 nights originally, so as to explore the island and rent a house but it took longer and ended up staying at Nidhra for 1 week. During all those days and nights, everything was good. The rooms are clean and modern, there is a 1st floor with rooms of better quality. Everything was clean. The rooms are on a 2 floor little building on the side of a pool. Wifi was good when it worked but they had some problem with the router configuration and every day it had to be reset for service to be restored. Owner was super friendly, picked us up at the pier. We rented a scooter with them, all good also. Location is ok, it is near the coastline road, relatively close to the center. Would recommend it.

Had a really nice stay at The Nidhra, the staff made us feel very welcome and the rooms were clean and fresh with a large comfortable bed. If we come back to koh phangan we will stay here again!

The pool place is very nice, with 2-3 people max at one time. Nice bird singing al over the resort gives a superb chill atmosfere. The room is big enough for chiling and relaxing (we were 2 people) Dont open to much the doors, some mosquito can enter easilly.. For that money what you get with this resort probably the best place to stay in koh phangan.

Lovely, modern, simple, clean and quiet.”

This is our favourite hotel on the island and second time staying here. It has everything you need, big spacious rooms, simple interior and clean. Good sitcom that makes no noise. The balcony is also very spacious. The is a intimate private feel to the hotel and not to busy, but just a few minutes away from busy thong Sala. The garden and pool are well looked after. Friendly helpful staff. Would definitely recommend!

The nidhra is a very well equipped hotel. Great pool and spacious comfortable rooms. The food was excellent, and we even returned for breakfast each morning when we switched to a cheaper bungalow. The staff at the nidhra will be the best part of your stay.

Large comfy rooms with easy access to the beach”

Stayed few nights and really liked Nidhra. The rooms are laid out around a swimming pool and you can walk to the beach if you want. The rooms are large, with comfy beds and good quality linen, rooms are cleaned whenever you want them to. The staff speak good english and are attentive and can arrange tours, boat tickets, rental motorbikes and laundry at the same price as anywhere else on the island. They do have a small cafe where the food isnt the best but palatable. Overall good stay and would recommend this hotel

Really great staff”

The 2 ladies that run the place are as nice and helpful as can be. Too bad Koh Phangan is overdeveloped with no people there. Had Rin is covered with restaurants and bars that are completely empty unless it's full moon. Zero night life any other time of the month.

Excellent hotel in a great location ”

Great place to stay on Koh Phangan. Very clean room with comfortable pillows and blankets. Warm and friendly staff and an excellent pool. Booked for a week originally, liked it so much, I stayed many more weeks. Would stay here again for sure.

Decent”

The staff are very friendly and the room and location is great. Maybe because resort is located by a stream? there are quite a bit of mosquitos in the room. I would advise people to light a couple incense to keep them away. Overall it’s a nice place to stay if you want a well maintained facility and be near ban tai/thong sala.

Great Hotel”

We stayed at Nidhra for four nights around fullmoon and had a great time. The pool is very nice, it was clean and quiet and the staff was super friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend staying there!

the rooms are new, clean and big! really big beautiful pool, felt like private pool because there wasn''t many people. The placement of the resort is really quit but still close to everywhere, only 10 min from had rin. the beach is minute away and its quit we where the only one on the beach. staff was nice helped us with everything and gave us shuttle to the pier! very recommended with this valuable price!

Nice place and decent pool”

Located just outside of Tong Sala and conveniently near a 7/11 this place had large clean rooms with comfortable beds. I don't really like the fine damage warning on the wall. Not very typical of somewhere that has the word boutique in its title. I also am not keen on key deposits.

Excellent value for a relaxing stay”

Rooms set around a swimming pool all have a private balcony big enough for 2 chairs & a table. If this was one of the hotels on the main road, sitting outside would be less pleasant because there's incessant (and unnecessarily) noisy road trafffic, but although Nidhra is only 1 min walk from the road, that makes all the difference and it's as quiet as if it were miles from anywhere. Rooms are clean, they have only the essentials (fridge, safe, hot shower) but they all worked properly. Staff are v friendly and helpful.

It was a decent room with a super comfy bed which is hard to come by in thailand. The pool is very well maintained and is salt water not chlorinated which was a great bonus! 2 minute scooter ride to downtown thongsala ;) the only downsides were no English channels other than one 24 hour new channel and we were 2nd over from the stairs which we found pretty loud in the middle of the night when people were coming home from partying and we were trying to get sleep. I asked about any english movie channels and he couldnt do anything about the satalite channels but did show up with a DVD player 5 minutes later at our door which was a bonus ;) these downsides were definitely not deal breakers, we booked to stay again in a week or so! Good deal for the price, snatch it up!

2 nights”

Booked for 2 first nights in phangan. Plus: well located, near the pier and many bars/cafes. beach is not far, but it wasnt the best one. better yo use bike anyway... big supermarket in 1 min walking. clean and nice room, good bed, clean pool. minus: absolutelly non-friendly staff without simple English, it was difficult to communicate.

Stylish little resort”

The room is amazing. Simple design with modern fittings. Everything worked. But the bed was the clincher.. Huge, soft, expensive with crisp white cotton covers. I never wanted to move from the bed. The rooms overlook a large beautiful pool. As I was only staying one night I didn't use the facilities. Downside is the lack of privacy as all rooms are open to people passing by. And while it's not directly on the beach, the beach is only a 2 minute walk away. Also 2 minutes to main road where there is a large well stocked supermarket. Only sour note was when the owner arranged transport to Haad Rin at inflated price. Not that I begrudge the man making a living, I just don't like being treated like an idiot and ripped off because I'm a tourist.

I have stayed here many times and am never disappointed. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The resort is very quiet at night. The air-con works well.

Nice place and great staff”

I stayed there 4 nights. Hotel is located in middle part of island near Tongsala. Macro supermarket is only few steps from hotel same as beach are. Hotel mannager/owner was very helpful and helped us with everything, including rental motorbikes and ferry pick up and grop of. Pool are is amazing. In the night is there queitly, you can really enjoyed sleep. Food in hotel restaurant been very tasty in good prices. Again thank for everything Tai :)

They overbooked and pushed me to their other resort which was ”

I arrived at Nidhra late in the afternoon. I tried to check in and the staff said I did not have a booking, even after I showed them my email showing a confirmed booking from Agoda. They said they couldn't help me but I could go to their "other" hotel, which was more expensive, but I'd have to pay for the difference. This was when I called Agoda to complain. Fortunately, Agoda customer service is based in BKK and answered quickly. They checked with Nidhra and they started speaking in Thai, thinking I didn't understand. They called their manager who told them to offer me an "upgrade" price, since the Nidhra was full. I complained to Agoda who confirmed the Phangan Island View hotel, was a more expensive hotel but located on the Thongsala main street. After 30 mins , they finally offered to take me to the other hotel, at the price I paid, on a moped in the rain?!? I said taxi only, since I came by taxi! Beware of bait n switch tactics!
