Malaysia Day Break”

The hotel was superb from the very moment we checked in until we checked out. The room was huge and the bathroom was amazing. Love the super comfy beds and all the amenities in the room. We got the upper floor unit with a spectacular view of the Twin Towers & Menara KL. It was so great. The concierge is so friendly and polite. One plus point, as I was checking in alone so I place my luggage at the side of the reception, the concierge guy stood by my luggage and waited until I have completed my checking in, and he straight away took my luggage ansd asist me with it until we reached our room. It was a pleasant assistance. Kudos to The Majestic Hotel Autograph Collection, Kuala Lumpur.

City Hopping”

We stayed at The Majestic Hotel in Kuala Lumpur on our way back from Singapore and out to Europe. The hotel was new construction, with a lobby and exterior style reminiscing the colonial times. Very interesting. The room was very spacious, nicely designed with a semi-open concept for the bathroom area. The location was perfect: just off of Central Market and within walking distance to train, and within few minutes driving/walking from KL Sentral. It was perfectly tucked at a corner in the central district yet away from the hustle and bustle. The breakfast selection was excellent, and the service staff were great. We stayed at four different hotels in our recent travel to Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore and back to Kuala Lumpur. The Majestic Hotel was certainly the best of four hotels we stayed at. Will definitely go back to her.

Fantastic luxury for a honeymoon couple”

The only negative thing I have to say about this hotel was that, on checking in, and after mentioning that we were on our honeymoon, the girl at the check-in desk attempted to upsell us a larger suite for a discount. After we said were ok with the room we'd chosen, she went to speak to a manager, and returned to tell us that, as we were on honeymoon, they'd upgrade us for free! Obviously, this was a lovely surprise, but slightly tarnished by the fact that they'd tried to upsell us in the first instance! It felt like they had our upgraded room ready for us, and wanted to see if they could get any money out of us before letting us have it! THAT ASIDE, the hotel is fantastic. Luxurious, massive, opulent and plush, with excellent staff, beautiful rooms, an excellent buffet-style restaurant, as well as further dining rooms and wonderful lounge-bar. The location is fantastic, just by the Kuala Lumpur train station (NOT KL SENTRAL), within walking distance of the bird sanctuary and national mosque and other sights. A lovely experience, and we paid for 3 nights stay what it would have cost us for 1 night at an equivalent London hotel.

Simply the best”

I am frequent traveller to KL and I had a pleasant stay in The Majestic Hotel KL. - Location wise is not exactly in the new city centre (Bukit Bintang area) but the hotel provides free shuttle service to KL Sentral which is the transport hub in town where you can take LRT, Monorail and KTM train to anywhere. It is convenient and comparatively less crowded and less noisy than BB area. - A wide variety of breakfast buffet and food was fresh. It gave good energy for hotel guests to start the day! - Staff in The Majestic Hotel KL were friendly, attentive and efficient. I found some hair in the bathroom and I called the front desk. They immediately came to check it and sent housekeeping team to give a complete cleaning of the room. After that, the room was fresh and clean. Really appreciate how attentive, efficient and service-oriented the hotel staff were! They made sure the guests would all have a pleasant stay in the hotel.

Classy! fantastic hotel ”

It's definately one of the best hotel in Kuala lumpur. Room condition is amazing Spacious, clean and very classy. Especially the bed is best of best! i slep so well :) did not want to leave from there. It's a little bit far from touris spot so you can take heavely rest with calm mood and They provide free shuttle to KL sentral and bukit bintang area. Every time i go to KL, i will choose the majestic without any hestating. I truly love this hotel so much.

The best of nostalgia mixed with modern facilities”

We had the best stay in Majestic Hotel KL in the first week in July. We stayed in two rooms with our children in one room, and my wife and I in the other. the hotel has two wings - the Colonial Majestic Wing is the original hotel with rooms and designs that harkens back to the nostalgia of the 1930s with its suites, art-deco furnishings, silver service and butlers; while the new Tower Wing is a thoroughly modern hotel with contemporary furnishings, facilities and mod-cons you find in any well appointed five star hotel. The two wings are directly connected and guests are free to wander between the various parts of the hotel. We stayed in the new Tower Wing. The customer service was exemplary, the breakfast buffet was delicious and splendid with seven different cuisines on offer, and the rooms were sumptuous with comfortable beds and a full-sized bathtub which was the central feature of the his & her bathroom. We spent our afternoons exploring the colonial wing of the hotel after a lazy breakfast. There are so many nooks and crannies in this hotel where you get the feeling of living in yester-year in places with names such as the library, the smoke house, the screening room, the drawing room, and the orchid conservatory. High Tea is a highlight of the hotel, and we enjoyed long afternoons in the Tea Lounge with English Scones served with Darjeeling or Earl Grey tea, along with sandwiches, cup cakes and meat pies. The staff in both the new wing and colonial wing were all friendly, and displayed levels of courtesy and service that made our stay all the more pleasant. Especially, Johnnie the barman at the Smoke House who took the time to help us view 1930s black & white classic movies. Located directly opposite the old Railway Station (itself a heritage building built in late 1800s in the neo-Moorish architecture style), and a 5 minute free hotel shuttle ride to the new Central Station(and the Nu Central Shopping Mall), the Majestic is smack bang in the old heart of

Truly Majestic”

It was a last minute trip and i was looking for an affordable trip within KL. Majestic was not what i had in mind initially as i thought the rate may not within my budget. I was totally wrong, I got the best deal from Agoda for my stay. I even get further discount using the mobile app. Big win yeay! The check in time is 3pm but I arrived an hour early and the staff just let me checked in without me asking. Awesome 😍 The check in was so smooth, it took less than 10 minutes to get done ✅ Staffs were incredibly polite, helpful and always smiling. I'm not just talking about those at the check in counter but also the housekeeping team, staffs at restaurant, concierge etc. The unique part of this hotel is the staffs are all dressed as per colonial era. Love this ✅ The only thing Majestic can consider is the welcome drink for the guest 😁 I booked for Deluxe room and it is located at the new wing. There are 2 wings, the old/colonial wing placed all the fancy suites ie governor suite etc. My room is pretty awesome, it is a corner unit and facing the main street where you can see the old railway station (still in use) and the city view. Love love love ✅ The room is quite spacious, the star of the room is of course the bathroom. It has the luxury feel with all the black marble floor, bath tub with tv. Oh i felt like a royal family already hahah ✅ Due to the short stay, i didnt managed to dine at the restaurant(s). But i used to experience a hi-tea session at the famous Orchid Conservatary sometime ago. The room were filled with all kinds of orchids. Stunning! Personally i would say the desserts were average. You can book for the hi-tea session without staying at the hotel. Another thing to highlight about this hotel is of course the stunning interior deco. You wouldn't get the same feeling at any other hotel than Majestic. The moment you enter the lobby, you will definitely feeling transported to the colonial era. Not just because of the unique uniform wore by the staff

Spectacular ”

Room was clean, opulent and beautifully serviced daily. The Straits Room comes with club access (afternoon tea and then drinks/canapés later), free laundry, private check in/out and our deal had free breakfast (not sure if that part is standard or not). Staff in the Majestic wing were absolutely awesome - discreet, professional and friendly - nothing was too much trouble. My only suggestion for club would be serving sparkling wine (not just white or red) - we had been touring Asia for nearly 3 weeks and were really missing some bubbles - hard to find, expensive and rarely good quality there). We weren’t so in love with service in the colonial cafe - nothing really bad but waiters didn’t seem as switched on or attentive as we’d experienced in club (restaurant wasn’t busy) - food was solid and nicely presented. Majestic has its own ‘line’ - mini buses to take you to several areas (eg ‘KL Sentral’ - Station) in KL for free - a nice bonus - arrive early as it is first in best dressed

Top Class”

Been one of our favorite hotel since 2016. This is the third time we stayed here in a span of one year. Great hospitality and quality service from reception, house keeping and the restaurants. We booked the deluxe room but were upgraded to the Junior Suite which was very generous of the hotel management in conjunction with my mom's birthday. The suite was spacious, clean and well kept. We don't have anything to complain since we last stayed in 2016. The hotel stands up to its name and maintains it status as one of the best rated hotel in Kuala Lumpur. The breakfast was top notch catering both local and western cuisines. Lastly, thank you Majestic for the lovely birthday cake and the birthday card. It just made our day and we would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Spacious and beautiful accommodation and delightful staff!”

This has been the best hotel I have stayed at in Malaysia. The rooms are very well appointed and spacious. The beds are large and very comfortable to sleep in. The rooms are clean and the bathroom is like another room, large and exquisite! I've also ordered in-room dining and the food arrived very quickly and was delicious! Excellent service staff”

I made a last minute booking through Agoda on the same day I fly to KL to celebrate my daughter birthday.When we reach Majestic Hotel I was told that there is no booking made.After several checks we found that Agoda had cancelled our booking and cancellation was send via email.Frustrated with the way Agoda deal with cancellation since it falls on the same day.I called up Agoda and was told that the room requested was not available.There goes my daughter birthday 'ruin' just like that. Apparently I was assisted by your front office staff Alfie,he told me there is still rooms available and he will get it block for me.I called up Agoda and explain that there is still room available as claim by the hotel staff,after few heated moments with Agoda lastly I got the room. What I want to highlight more is the attentiveness,calm,focus and anticipate attitude that your staff shows.From the time that I step in the lobby till the day I depart you guys are superb!!! Front office staff Alfie you are attentive and understands well with the hiccups that I was facing with Agoda and one malay Duty manager that came to calm me when I was frustrated with Agoda way of cancellation. I can feel your sincerity.Lastly my daughter was given a surprise slice of cake in our room for her birthday.WOW!!!Your Communication and teamwork was proven here.It is my 2nd time here and won't be my last.Big thumbs up for all the staff there.Awesome!!!

BEST STAY EVER”

It was my birthday and they made it the best. When I arrived, they upgraded me to a junior suite which is very big and luxurious. The bathroom is the main highlight in this room. Equipped with a free standing bathtub and a TV. They also surprised me with a birthday cake. Their hospitality is top notch and all staffs are nicely dressed and very helpful. The location is very strategic because it's in the middle of KL and it's near to KL Sentral Station. They also privide shuttle service to KL Sentral. All in all, The Majestic Hotel KL is a splendid choice and a value for money.

Exceptional in all areas”

Our stay at Majestic is memorable for just how good it was in all areas: great breakfasts, grand and delightful decor, fantastic rooms that are clean and decorated to a very high standard, and staff that are exceptionally capable and able to make your stay seamless. We were upgraded to a suite on our arrival without asking for an upgrade. A lovely surprise. The room was stunning: clean, large, beautifully decorated and with good views of the city. Usually you get some minor defects in any hotel room but I can't remember any here. From reviews and pictures I've seen I suspect the room we originally booked would have been lovely too - just smaller. All the dealings I had with staff left me with a good feeling afterwards! Everyone seemed to have the autonomy, expertise and willingness to make things easy for you. For example, we extended our stay via the travel agent for an extra night and the process of revalidating room keys, etc. was as easy as it could be. You're able to relax quickly in this place because it's clear the staff have everything very much under control. I remember my breakfasts fondly. Good, hot and abundant filter coffee. Nice little nasi lemaks packaged up in banana leaves. All the usuals like omelettes, etc. The only criticism was that sometimes things like baked beans weren't properly hot. If we find ourselves in KL again we'll head directly for this hotel!

Great luxury hotel in cultural precinct of city centre”

Room was excellent, and surprisingly good value for money. Swimming pool is nice, gets sun in the morning but shade in the afternoon. Pool closes at 7pm which is slightly inconvenient, but this seems to be par for the course in SE Asia. Buffet breakfast was great, and had so many choices it took at least an hour to try them all. Location is good, close to museums, national monuments and Lake Gardens, all of which are easy to walk to.. Public transport access is now much improved with the new Muzium Negara underground metro station, which is a 2-minute walk from the hotel. Walking to/from KL Sentral station is slightly more fiddly, but the hotel has a free shuttle bus, or there is the more frequent free Go KL bus (Red Line), both of which are useful if you have luggage. The old colonial Kuala Lumpur station across the road is very pretty, but pedestrian access around the side of it to the Pasar Seni market area and Chinatown is slightly tedious as the footpaths are intermittent. Renovations currently taking place to the walkways through the station itself, so may solve this problem in near future.

Exceeding our Expectations During Our Stay ”

Your staff at the Majestic Hotel provided us service that went beyond our expectations. From the moment we stepped into the lobby, all the staff greeted us with a genuine smile :) they were quick to respond to our needs and created a worry free vacation there. When we first entered our room, we were so excited to see how beautiful the decor was and the soaker tub was devine! We took advantage of this especially with so much walking in KL. We all looked forward to the delicious buffet breakfast every morning, with such a wide variety of choices from Chinese, Malaysian, & even Japanese. At the end of my trip, I left my hard drive in my room, and the concierge was so kind to courier it to my next destination. Thank you to all the staff at Majestic Hotel, for all your hospitality, all of you have made such a wonderful experience for me and my family. A Pleasant Surprise!”

It was my birthday weekend and I booked 2 rooms since January. I had chosen Majestic KL since I love their Afternoon Tea and the charm of the hotel itself. I thought it would be a fun all ladies weekend. When i arrived and wanted to check in at 2.50pm, the hotel staff informed that my room is not ready and they don't know what time it would be ready. I was appalled at first and then said that I already indicated and received a reply that I would be getting connecting rooms. Again the hotel staff told me that I could not get the connecting room. I was beginning to feel really upset but after the staff confirmed at the back office, she said that I would get a connecting rooms. Again, the staff told me that they could call me when the rooms are ready but they are not sure what time it would be ready. So I spent my time at the Tea Lounge with my sisters and nieces and finally received a call at 4.44pm that my room is ready. We were so surprised that we got upgraded into one of the suites and it was indeed very fancy! It started off to a bad start but waiting for almost 2 hours for the room to get ready was worth it! Thank you, Majestic Hotel and thank you again for the cute birthday cake!

Good Location, Comfortable and beautiful hotel”

It was a very great experience staying in The Majestic Hotel Junior Suite room. Spacious, beautiful and luxurious. Scenery surrounding is very nice. The hotel provides shuttle bus to KL Sentral, Starhill and Mid Valley!! I could go to Kl Sentral by shuttle bus, the bus stop at KLIA express side so i can go straight to KLIA express counter to purchase tix and checked in my luggage in MAS Counter. Super convenient and i would love to stay again.

Good 5-star hotel”

Located at the heart of Kuala Lumpur with 3 min walk to Kuala Lumpur station and regular free shuttle service is availble to KL Sentral. Staff are nice and helpful. Room is huge and modern. Comparing the quality with the price it's really a good deal.

Majestically KL”

We had a superb 2 nights stayed at The Majestic KL. The hotel room is so clean that we felt so comfortable. Spacious room and bathroom. The staff are all very good from the concierge to the doorman, all are very courteous and sincerely serve the customers. The shuttle service is also great. Convenient stop at Starhill, KL Sentral and Mid Valley. The only cons is that the wifi is indeed very slow (based on previous review), in the room basically. Swimming quite small but the gym is perfect. Overall, you won't regret choosing The Majestic for your stay in KL😉.

On this holiday at Kuala Lumpur, my daughter and I stayed at the Le Meridein, the Grand Hyatt, the Traders and finally the Majestic. We were really disappointed to only check into the Majestic on our second last night. It was hands down the best hotel we've stayed in. The rooms were beautiful, the food fantastic and the staff a delight. I will definitely be back
