Quirky, stylish and comfortable”

Our room was The Barn which I understand was the smallest of the available rooms and had disabled access. It was a beautiful space, had everything you might want, and was hard to leave next morning. I really appreciated the midday checkout.

A warm welcome from Paulie. Loved the small things: heated bathroom floor, huge bath, complimentary bath salts, thick fluffy towels, bathrobes, slippers, gas fire that can be viewed from the lounge or the bedroom, alpaca duvets... Very nice!

Fantastic 1 bedroom apartment, has everything you need including washer and dryer (perfect for after visiting the hot pools) and wee kitchen facilities. The bathroom is very luxurious and the whole place toasty warm. Highly recommend.

Honestly cannot recommend the mackenzie suites enough. We were worried having left booking accommodation for the night before our trip but turned out to be the best decision we ever made. The suite is amazing especially the bath that's big enough for two!! Highly highly recommend and will definitely be coming back!

Lovely view, well equipped kitchen”

My wife and I had a (far too) short stay here on Canterbury Anniversary Day. Our studio was spacious with a small terrace looking out over the lake. The bed was comfy, the bathroom was small but didn't feel it due to clever layout. The lounge was function and quirky due to a mixed range of furnishings. Over all it was lovely. The only disappointment was not being able to raise anyone at reception the next morning to report a broken wine glass. Very good. We'll be back!
