At first, we thought of booking Sunway Hotel as my husband and his business partner has appointed a seminar there. Upon knowing that Light Hotel new , I took a chance to try and book Light Hotel instead. I am glad to say it was worth it. Staffs, such as the doorman, the coffeehouse' waiter, the teh-tarik man and the even the poolside barman, have shown exemplary manners when attending to their guests. I have to admit that I really love the hotel's lunch buffet, which was unexpectedly amazing. It was one of the reasons for me to return when we go on our future business trips to Seberang Jaya. However, the only downside is that the half-boiled eggs that were served for brekfast were too raw. More than half of the egg whites were still transparent. For two days attending the buffet, the eggs that we tried cracking have the same results. I would greatly appreciate it if you would look into this matter, and we might be more than happy to pick Light Hotel as our accommodation for our future trips. Anyhow, do keep up the friendly etiquette!

I stay 3 night at this hotel from 4 June till 7 June 2015. Firstly I just booked one room deluxe then since my two kids are following we decided to take another room. Thanks to Cornie for arranging connecting room for me. I read all the review at this site before booking. But Im glad to stay in one of the best hotel in Seberang Jaya. There was no regret and I really feel this hotel really value for money. My kids really enjoy the pool and the kids club. For me the SPA at the hotel was great. Overall Satisfaction. My room view was the pool. Was super great and the room service also good good..thanks to the maintainance dept for keep cleaning and giving us new mineral water daily. We will sure come again and recommend our family and friend to stay in this hotel. Good Job keep improving and maintaining the high standard.

The hotel is located at Seberang Jaya area . Easy access to North South Highway. A mall is located few minutes walk so easy to get your supplies. Free parking for guest. Provide 2 level of security at lift and room. Room quite spacious, clean and have all facilities ie gym and pool. Many eateries nearby and walking distance from the hotel. The Best Hotel in Seberang Jaya”
This is the best hotel in Seberang Jaya or probably one of the best in Penang itself ! Spacious and clean room. Almost excellent buffet. Great facilities. Friendly and professional staffs. The hotel smells good at each corner even in the lobby washroom. The only setback is the parking lot which is probably not enough for all guests but we never had problem to find one. There are many restaurants and banks across the street. Check out how many sport channels they have ! You will never miss your football match!

We check in around 530pm in this hotel. Check in process run smoothly (maybe because at that time only us that check in). We book deluxe room and be given room number 514. All deluxe room will facing outside pool. I love their rain shower and my baby love it too. They have a complete basic amenities which is totally convenience if you forget to bring your own toiletries. I love the smells of their bath gel. Hotel also provide iron and ironing board in room. Bed is cozy and can accommodate us with baby sleep together. Internet connection is working fine and wifi signal is strength. Facilities were ok, we love their outdoor pool. They have a cozy couch and seat setting up in bar which is near with pool area. Please try their teh tarik and roti canai if your booking is with breakfast. It is soo delicious. We satisfied on their meal during our breakfast, everything been served with quality. My husband took 3 cup of the tarik during our breakfast time. This hotel location is near with Sunway Carnival Mall and opposite of Sunway Hotel Seberang Jaya and other shop lot. Hotel location is convenient for you if you want to have an outside dinner or lunch. All is best but their staff is not so friendly. But for me, it is only minor issue in this hotel.

come for the meeting at seberang jaya and i was shock with the hotel size and facilities. The staff are very kind, lobby was amazing, room are cozy, breakfast are wonderful, pool are unique. The hotel nearby the shopping mall and major banks. The place also very calm with no traffic jam and so quite at night. really recomanded this hotel. Only problem is the price is sometimes a bit expensive but if you book through agoda should get less.

Value for the money”
We're in very last minute to make the decision to make hotel booking bcos we're attending a wedding dinner. Firstly, we're surprised by the interior of the hotel lobby, especially the charm light (It looks grand and beautiful). Due to we're late check-in (after 10:30pm), the receptionist (Chinese guy) done the good job and the procedure was smoothly and fast. Second, we're satisfaction with the free snack and kitkat in hotel room which make my boys' day! Third, usually I will check the review about breakfast selection in the hotel cafe before I make booking. As previous review mentioned, you and your family really can have a sinful and rich breakfast cos they have various of selection in their cafe. Fourth, my boys SUPER loves their swimming pool! The environment of the pool is great - windy & glance. Lastly, I would say the staff's attitude and service are great and they deserve higher score instead of 8.3. One thing, if you're traveller without own transportation, it would be a problem but (maybe) the hotel concierge may assist or to arrange (I think?) All in all, we're very happy and pleased to stay in this hotel, especially my husband. Thank you guys and keep it up!!!

We decided not to stay in Penang island and opted to stay at Seberang Jaya. Am pleasantly surprised for the price we paid. Excellent customer service, clean and comfy rooms, complimentary mini bar and great breakfast spread. Will be my top choice if I make a trip back up north.

It is beyond my expectation that this hotel is very remarkable and, despite the fact that it is my first time staying here, I felt very welcome, and the service given made me felt like I am a regular guest here. The check-in procedure was very smooth, and fast, since I arrived later in the evening, they know well that I need rest. Every single thing was just perfectly blend after that, from the cleanliness, the room condition, up until the breakfast. Surely wont hesitate to choose this hotel again, for my next visit in Penang. Excellently located in Seberang Jaya with easy access to North South Highway as well as connectivity to Penang Island. The room room is spacious with comfortable bed and rain showers. Good security with access card to the room. Breakfast with quite good selection. Check in and out process is good. Courteous and helpful front-line staff. Will stay again at this hotel.

My stay at The Light exceeded expectations! There was a bit of a delay at check in, but not too long a wait. Room quality is top notch, bed and pillows ultra-comfortable, complimentary mini bar (nice touch), while the shower was extremely strong and hot (excellent). Wifi was strong, breakfast was brilliant. Room service offerings were also very good. I have a new favorite in Penang. On the downside, pool is a little small (and closes too early at 7pm), gym is not too bad. Easily the best hotel in mainland Penang.

Strategic location in Seberang Jaya Penang. Near shopping malls and restaurants. It is a new hotel. Rooms and facilities are still in good condition. This was my sixth time staying here in 2016. Friendly staff and really hope the hotel will maintain its quality, service and standard in future.

Reception staff PR need attention.”
Had a pleasant stay as the room is nice and clean. Easy access to seberang jaya shopping area, many restaurants & etc. Staff performance especially during check in & check out need drastic improvement. Looks like they are foreigners( India & Indonesia ). Not smile at all and less communication like no thank you and when ask something they just keep quiet. During check out the receptionist did not pass me the validated parking coupon and I was stuck at guard house. The security was not helpful as well and asked me to drive back to receptionist counter. very poor process.

Everything about the hotel is excellent. The service, staffs, room, food, and just name it. The breakfast was marvelous with many choices. You can even order a teh Tarik. The hotel will definitely will be my first choice if happened to be in Seberang Jaya or Butterworth.

Nice and easy access in Seberang Jaya. Overall the room were at tip top conditions. Free mini bar is great ! Breakfast was good. Surrounding doesn't have much good or famous food. Good for business leisure prefer staying in island.

First of All, Im staying here almost 2 month from July to sept 20. I love this hotel because there are very convinience and very clean. Also have good service and friendly staffs expecially their manager Sanil dan Nasir. Thumb up for both of them👍👍👍 . Also have good and sweet front desk staff , izza and elvy. They are also Very helpful and good hospitality to guests. 👍👍👍Last but not least, wandi and imam also good staff and very helpful too.👍👍👍 The Light Hotel is very Lucky to have staff like them. I will repeat to Stay here if i Come back again to Penang soon.

Clean Hotel with good breakfast”
I stayed here for 1 night at Light suite room. the room is spacious & clean especially the Bathroom. the room comes with bath tub, so my kids love it. the best part in the room is the coffee brew, it taste really good. :) The breakfast spread is a lot, there also have freshly cook kuew teow upon request. The pool is quite basic, but good enough for my 1 night stay. overall, this is a pleasant stay here. If I want to come to seberang jaya, I will definitely choose this hotel.

Very glad to have booked this hotel. The staff are nice and the facilities are good. Good location as well. The only downside is small fruit flies were found in the pastry served in the breakfast. Will book again for my next trip to Seberang Jaya.
