Getting more than what you pay for”
Many reviews are written to look for what a highly rated hotel offer. However, a good review should not be based on amenities but rather on the amount of money we invest. As the saying goes, you get what you pay for. Such that when you get an excellent service more than what you pay for, that's a great place. This was my experience in Lazy Dog. The moment i entered my room, wow, simple and clean. Water (hot and cold) in great supply, food for breakfast simple and ample, and most of all, the staff are excellently courteous and friendly. They do their best to serve you well, with a smile. And the two dogs, oh how lovely, though I must admit they both are obese. Overall, I highly recommend this place--simple, clean, good service--and I am coming back. The only area of improvement is the wifi service. Can be really slow, and you need to log in every time you use it. However, who goes to Boracay without a data plan, anyway. Thanks Djila, Joel, Erick, Leonard, Raffy, Paulet & Rose.

BEST VALUE AND YET YOU GET MORE. ”
The Lazy Dog Bed and Breakfast changed my outlook in choosing the best place to stay. I usually opt for beachfront but with Lazy Dog, it made me realize that a place can give you more without the need of beachfront. First the place is clean, sanitized, and organized. Second, the staffs are so kind and accommodating. I asked if my lazada hauls can be delivered in the hotel and they are accommodating to that request. Third, the food is DIVINE! Their chef is amazing. I love their waffles, their hotcakes, their curry, I must say all the food here and even the desserts are ALL GOOD. It also gives Island vibes., very tranquil especially if the other are not noisy or respects the solemnity of the place. Definitely its the place I would go back to. No doubt. You dont need a 5* hotel to stay at in Boracay. You just need Lazy Dog.

Perfect for our stay in Boracay”
We were very happy with our choice in staying here. We enjoyed not staying on white beach side as it was so much quieter here yet only a 10 minute walk to all the action! Pro - aircon worked really well, breakfast was delicious and cooked for you each morning, friendly staff, well cleaned rooms. Cons - slow wifi (this is standard for Philippines though), the room was also very light at night as they had lots of lights on outside our room and the curtains were thin. I don't think this affected many other rooms though it was more where ours was positioned.

lazy dog has a great relaxing vibe, with very comfortable beds( the best I’ve slept in the last 9months!!), super clean and the breakfast is very delicious! Great place to stay if you want a quiet, relaxing vacation :)”
Lazy Dog B&B is located on the other side of Boracay Island (not the White Beach side), but that didn't bother us. Boracay is a narrow island, so the walk to White Beach isn't that long. The environment was calm and relaxing, breakfast was delicious, lounge area was great. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The dogs were friendly too, though I wish they'd go on a diet lol Overall, our stay was great. Will definitely come back.

I was reluctant at first to book a place in this area because of the pictures I saw online but when we get there, I don't regret it. The room, bed sheet, blanket are clean. I did not experience any itchiness when sleeping in the bed. The room is cozy and spacious for 2 person. Their food is great and delicious. You definitely need to try their tapsilog and vietnamese coffee because it's phenomenal. The place is a hidden gem in bulabog beach. Lazy Dog is also pet friendly place. I saw other visitors bringing their cute dogs. My only request is I would like to see a half body mirror in the room. Date of Visit: Dec 2021 Room: 103

The room is spacious and clean. I love the interior design and it has a veranda where you can eat and chilll. Aside from that, ot has also a common space where you can hangout with other travelers. It has free bfast. We were not able to do island hopping bcoz of typhoon. But i enjoyed our stay coz everything is comfortable. I love the CR too! There is a free wifi and there is a nearby carinderia if you are already tired of walking. Station 3 bulabog beach is just few steps away.

Bang for the buck! We got a room for 2 with free breakfast for 6 nights. Will def pass by Lazy Dog again for their food. Rooms are a little small and dark though, but staff are very nice!

Great Rustic Ambience! Really gives you the Boracay beach bum feel!”
The place was a bit out of the way. I hired a motorcycle to take me there since its located in a residential area and accessed through narrow alleyways. But overall the place is located in a nice quiet area very close to the beach which isn't as crowded as station 1 to 3. Also, the activities at the beach area are different from white beach. You can try kite surfing here. The complementary breakfast was great, the staff were accommodating and the room was good with towel and soap provided and a hot and cold shower. Definitely a place to unwind and enjoy the quieter side of Boracay.
