I love it!”
I loved my stay here! It's cozy and very homey! It's clean as well. It was a great place to relax especially that I was to take an exam nearby. It's great that is it very close to the place that I need to be. It's very affordable especially when booking here in Agoda even with just a few days before my stay. The staff are pleasant and hospitable. There are also a lot of Instagramable spots in the hotel. And I think you can get a dip in the pool too which I failed to do. Haha. And the aircon, very cold---great! Haha I think the place is just new (?), judging by the makeshift door labels so some things are still missing. Nonetheless, it doesn't get my review down. In case they didn't notice, here are things that i think should be added: clothes/towel hanger in the room, hook/s to hang clothes/towel and something to place soap/shampoo in the shower and I forgot if it is included in my booking but I wasn't given toiletries. Haha. And perhaps a clearer hotel sign facing the road? Hehe Because the GrabFood driver that I met outside and I were having difficulty looking for the place. He ended turning the the way. Hehe. These things are minor but could do extra well. :-) Bottomline, I love the place. I recommend this to those who'll need to be in nearby places like UC Banilad, Gaisano Country Mall, Canadian Consulate, USC, etc. :-)

Best Hostel in the City”
If you are looking for a home away from home with a twist, this is the place! The location is accessible and it is located in Cebu City. It is very convenient for travellers but far from the hustle and bustle of the city. They offer various kinds of rooms. And the best part, the hostel has a POOL. You can access the pool anytime. They clean the pool every day (I've witnessed it personally for a week that I stayed there. They have designated smoking and drinking area. They have restobar beside the hostel where you can enjoy the food and the live band. The lobby is huge but still cozy that you can enjoy hanging out, chillin' with friends and you can also meet others and make new friends. Staff 1000/10 Starting from manager to all staff, you'll get great customer service. The staffs are extending their services like you are in 5Star hotel even if they're a hostel. It's one of the major factors that make u enjoy the hostel. Definetly this is my new home in Cebu! I will definitely go back.

I initially booked for a bed in their dorm type room, however, they advised that their dorm type room are for bookings of atleast 5 pax. Instead of not accepting me, they gave me a free upgrade into their private room. On my third day, they transferred me again to another room which was way bigger and had 2 beds and for FREE! I had an awesome stay here for a week. Rooms were clean, staffs were friendly and accommodating! Most importantly, their WiFi connection is strong - was able to work properly. The location is accessible to restaurants, eateries, malls, coffee shops and beside the hostel is also a restaurant which offers drinks! Highly recommended! Thanks again, Flying Fish!

I don’t know where to start my review because my stay at Flying Fish is unforgettable. I definitely recommend this place and would love to go back. The room I stayed in spacious and clean. It is accessible to a lot of things, like a laundromat, restaurants, grocery, pharmacy, mall, etc. More than the place, its the staff that made my stay the best. I will be back for sure!

Ms. Mary Ann and the rest of the staff were warm, efficient and professional. They made my stay wonderful. There’s free hot and cold water. Just bring your own tumbler. Wifi is great! I was able to work, connect to a virtual desktop and didn’t have any issues. The small double room is spacious and has a nice desk, perfect for working. Love the location, it’s less than 5 minute walk to Banilad Town Center where there are nice restaurants, ATM and Robinsons grocery. I often used Grab during my stay but it’s also very easy to get taxis. It’s about 10 minutes walk from Gaisano Mall.

From 5min to the IT Park, flying fish offer beers, welcome’s drink (coke) And also a restaurant is just beside it. Two minutes walking and you can have a cheap breakfast in the Julie’s not far from here. The staff is very friendly and funny. I learned that there is a second flying fish in dumaguete. (Main one). Very nice looking hostel in a good residential area. We loved the overall interior and vibe of the property as well as our room. Ms. Mary Ann was friendly, kind and helpful. They also have a hole in the wall restau-bar called PUKOT which offered affordable beers. Laundry shop is just a minute walk. Banilad town center is 2minutes walk away that has 24hrs Chinese fast food called Dimsum Break and other restaurants and atm. Will definitely recommend ! 🥰

I enjoyed my stay here. The location is amazing! It’s within walking distance from Banilad Town Center where there are restos, salon, grocery and ATMs. It was easy to go in and out. The restaurant within the property serves great food but is a bit pricey (it’s worth it though). staff are friendly and nice. I’d love to come back here.

The lady at the lobby were very accommodating, approachable and she always smiles all the time, the place is within a walking distance of 2 malls, Craft bar is just on the other side, i hope soon they'll offer a breakfast and snacks within the bar for late night drinks. everything is perfect and still a lot more to offer as they improve the place.

Very accommodating staff's , was travelling with my kids and they gave me a better room that is safe for chikdren , there is a Massage Spa near by just a couple mins walk , 5mins walk to the malls , easy access to everything , we'll surely comeback here

Clean place, lobby areas and rooms. Great place to lounge around with a coffee and a book. Rooms are devoid of TV and phone yet their Staff are accommodating with most requests. Just bring your own toothbrush and slippers/flipflops or buy at nearby 711 convenience store. Walking distance to BTC Banilad Town Center where most basic needs can be had. Has a restaurant just inside the hostel next to a well maintained dipping pool. An IG worthy place.
