The four nights I spent in the Cottage guest house were the most beautiful days of my life. The place is clean and tidy and gives it the character of a village and simple life .. Very calm and the owner of the place Mr. Wan is a very kind and respectful man .. I met many wonderful people and all of them in the place was like a family, is a very nice connection and how beautiful it is to chat with the American gentleman Mr.Michael. I hope that our friendship will continue and we meet again and again in the same wonderful place .. I very recommend that you visit the Cottage.

Good value for money, near Chenang Beach.. I want to check in by 2 pm but my room not ready yet.. But the receptionist was so kind, give me & my friends another room.. The receptionist also handsome & friendly.

Enjoyed my stay there. The cottage room we got is really cute and comfy. It's not hot at all, very breezy, everything is functioning - water heater and air con. Staff is friendly and helpful. It's a bit of a short walk to the middle of the town, but it's still within pantai Chenang

Budget place with helpful staff”
I rented this place for 3 days stay and it was satisfying. We just came back to sleep when tired rest of the day we enjoyed the beach. My room had everything needed but the beach is a little far away as mentioned. Around 1 Km we had to walk or else can hire a scooter by asking the manager. He will arrange for you. Rent is 35MYR and Security is 50MYR. We took just for a day as we had other plans. In short, The stay was very nice I am glad I booked "THE COTTAGE"

I suggest If you are with family then staying options are 6.5/10 but for Solo Traveler 8/10. Small rooms with very small washroom, no tissues in washroom. No dustbins, mosquitos in rooms.

The owner, Wan, was great. The location was cool, but I didn’t love walking home at night down the quiet lane. The room was dingy with one strip light and a horrible mattress. The sheet was nylon with a threadbare blanket over the top. Not a place to relax!

Insects everywhere in the room. I was changed to a much cheaper, alternative room but no offer of refund for the excess paid. Was again moved due to a 3rd room due to need to share a sink. The aircon did not work in the 3rd room on my second night and i needed to push hard for Agoda customer support to cancel & refund me for the final 2 nights stay.

Worst hotel ”
I had a worst experience during the stay in this hotel. I had booked two rooms and both rooms were very tiny and smelly. Bedsheets and blankets were in very bad condition and smelly. Ceiling Fans were too noisy and one room Ac was not working and other room ac cooling was not working . You can see so many Lizard on the outside and inside walls of room’s. During the stay , you have to compromise with the same bedsheet ,blanket and towel and they would never come to ask for room service . Hotel staff behaviour was good . I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.
