Very nice and clean, good amenities!
Breakfast was excellent with lots of variety.
All the staff I met including Titan, Corey and Thomas at the front desk were so helpful and nice.
Great place to stay, good vibe and Thomas from Recep was very attentive, definitely would come back again.

Snowman Lodge and Spa is centrally located in the town centre of Ohakune which is the gateway to Ski Ruapehu, Turoa, Whakapapa and the famous Tongariro National Park. Guests can enjoy the Cup & Cone cafe, hot tub, sauna or a relaxing massage at the onsite spa centre. The property features a shared lounge area, which gives guests the opportunity to warm up by the fireplace, play board games, or simply sit back while enjoying the stunning views of Mount Ruapehu. At Snowman Lodge, guests can choose from a range of updated rooms, from superior suites to budget rooms with a shared bathroom. Each heated room offers a private or shared bathroom, fresh towels, toiletries and comfortable linen. Guests also have access to a complimentary tea/coffee station in the common lounge area and outdoor BBQ facilities. The property is located nearby restaurants, cafes and shops. Ohakune Carrot Adventure Park is just a 5-minute walk away and the Turoa/Whakapapa Ski field is a 30 minute drive from Snowman Lodge & Spa. Excellent Service. All the staff I met including Titan, Corey and Thomas at the front desk were so helpful and nice. Not to mention the Chef who served wonderful 10 $ bakery baskets with such care, good enough for 3 people with coffee

We had a lovely stay. The hosts were friendly and helpful. They let us check in early which was great. Breakfast was excellent with lots of variety. Ample parking available. We would stay there again when we are next in Ohakune.

Nice little hotel very well situated”
We had a very pleasant night at Clyde's. The room is good and cosy, although the bed was very soft. The shared bathroom are clean. The attached restaurant serves meals and drinks. We ordered a pizza Margherita which was quite tasteless unfortunately, but the rest of the menu looked good. The restaurant had a Karaoke night so we could hear it from the room, maybe not the best place for light-sleepers.

very nice stay. You get what you pay for, it is very inexpensive but the rooms are warm. The rooms were minimal, but the shared bathrooms were nice and very clean. We spent the day on the mountain snowboarding and went back to the Clyde to get comfortable and drink sangria in front of the fire place in the pub. Pool table and darts make for a very entertaining night. Staff are all very friendly - good place to stay on a budget.
