What a big surprise ! I found a real treasure in Lipe ! The design is super splendid and I can hardly compare it to the word 'hostel'. The first 2 nights I live in a 10-girl-dorm and it was quiet, I had such a good sleep and it's like a single bed not in a dorm. Large space and large storage and quiet roommates, wonderful! What's more , I have 4 comfortable pillows in a 10-girl-dorm! Can u believe that? Haha it's really beyond my expectation . Last 2 nights I live in a private room with a super comfortable large bed ! Everything is so perfect and I like all the designs in the large bathroom , like brassiness、wooden furniture and so on . I even don't wanna go out . The staff is always nice and helpful ,I spent one day in this wonderful place to take pics for my own. Will definitely come again and spend more days in this design hostel in the future . Highly recommend !

This place isn't the cheapest hostel on Koh Lipe, but it's definitely the nicest. I spent 5 nights in the 10-bed girls dorm here last month. The beds are huge and there is a big locker with each bed, as well as a curtain for privacy. They provide a clean towel and a new bottle of water each day. The dorms and bathrooms were both EXTREMELY clean, and the showers were amazing. The staff were also so nice and helpful with everything from laundry to booking transportation! It really felt like an upscale hotel/resort more than a hostel. There's also a restaurant downstairs with decent and reasonably priced food. Highly recommend! I had such a great time here!

The architecture is superb, facilities are great, it’s super clean and the staff are very accommodating. Perfect location, it’s only a few mins walk from the best beach on the island. They provided frsh linens and water every day . I really enjoyed the modern decor and lovely and spacious areas throughout, its is so well designed. Very relieved I had Chic as an option instead of overpriced beach huts. Highly recommended

Really clean and super friendly hostel. It is quite quiet and there weren't too many guests. It's a lovely place modern and plenty of places to relax/play cards have a beer. I hope it gets busier so they can make good use of their restaurant area and bar. Very close to sunrise beach and walkabout street for day and evening exploring. Loved it!

It's one of the best hostels I've stayed. It looks exactly like the photos, I love their interior design. Rooms are good, the bed is very comfy. They clean the room and make the bed every day with a new bottle of water. Droff off service was complimentary which was awesome.

If you want to play pool with the manager, grab a chang with the sweet, classy and beautiful employees and have a good laugh every time you pass by the reception, the Chic Lipe is just for you. I had only planned a week here in the hotel but because of the Corona I extended and stayed 2 months. The staff was very friendly and welcomed me like a family member as I was the only customer. I would always come back. The room is modern and clean, the food is so delicious.

Great staff with excellent services”
This is my second time to visit Koh Lipe. The Chic Lipe is one of the best hostels I had ever stayed in Asia and Pacific region. The spaces for the bunk bed and common area are really spacious. The breakfast and Thai food are so delicious and deserve a try. The most important thing is the super friendly staffs. They are very helpful and kind to each guest. Thanks for their considerations and hospitality.

Nice place, close to walking street ”
Nice and friendly staff Good breakfast for 150-200 baht Close to walking street and sunrise beach (100 m) and atm. Nice rooms with air con and good beds. The whole place has a nice atmosphere and a friendly staff who is willing to help their best Also nice to sit outside and enjoy a coffee. Travelled as a young couple and stayed for 8 nights. Would recommend!

Awesome place! Seems to be a new place and is VERY clean. The bunks are very spacious, comfortable and clean. The showers / bathrooms are very clean. Definitely worth staying here. I would totally come back and stay here next time I am in Koh Lipe.

- Big box in your bed - Free towel - Free bottle of water everyday - they make bed everyday - clean bathroom - clean room Really clean! Problem is that it’s not social at all as it’s more like a hotel so if you want to meet other travellers then you better book another place. It’s a litre bit far from the walking street but it’s just 5-10 mins walk. Luckily I met a very nice guy and made one friend from this hostel and we did clean up the beach volunteer together and it was really nice. Every Monday. “Do it by heart” go to the beach or the island near Koh Lipe to clean up the places. If you’ll stay in Lipe over Monday then please join this volunteer!

Stayed in a private double room with breakfast included. Really great value for money. It's a new build, so everything is super clean and in good condition. Very close walking distance to what I thought was the nicest beach on the island.

Thoughtful and well maintained”
Great staffs, my adapter does not fit into the electric outlet , staffs are willing to lend me for emergency use. Thoughtful drop off to ferry. Hostel is spacious and friendly, you won't feel like it is too crowded or concen of being bothered by others when you need a space or to read. Location is close to ferry point too - (pleasant walking distance to and from ferry point.) It is also quiet during sleep time. Food is just down stairs if you are lazy to eat out. excellent good to stay as you get to pick mix or gender seperation, each bed has curtain for privacy too. One of the brilliant staff helped fix the bed ladder to prevent the friction sound! Bathroom is great, tasteful design and good pick of it decor, however, adding rules or sign can be helpful to remind certain guests some common sense in a common area. I had a wonderful stay and will defenately come back or recommend others!

I moved back there after a few resorts”
Easily spent two weeks here, the most wholesome WiFi+air-conditioning+strong hot shower combo. I spent a few nights on the mid-upscale beachfront resorts too but went back to the Chic eventually, as the differences beyond privacy was marginal. Thanks to the reception desk team for obliging with my relentless bed change requests! It was perfect for a digital nomad.
