Perfect for Traveller”

My stay in Apo View Hotel located at the city center of Davao was a great pleasure for me. I have made the right decision to chosed this hotel inspite the room rate but it's worth it. Safety measures has been practiced from the time i arrived in the hotel till i left. Hotel staff were all smiling, accomodating, never you gonna feel that you are stranger on that place. Hospitality is the best selling point of the hotel coming from the natives of Davao's. All parts of the hotel were cleaned and properly arranged especially the room itself. And given a chance that i'll be back in Davao, i don't have the second thought of cosing Apo View Hotel again.....Thank you much guyz...job well done....

Old Hotel but Rooms are in Good shape”

the apo view hotel is really a landmark place and has been a part of history of davao city being here over 60 years. yes the hotel is old but the rooms are nice spacious and clean. perhaps the materials used during construction of this hotel were excellent thats why it still great and you will not mind at all the age. complete with cable tv, mini ref, free coffee , water heater for coffee drinks, pipe in music, hair dryer , etc. comfort is at hand. at night we tried the buffet dinner with live performer making your night nostalgic. the garden is also a nice spot to walk on after your full meal. however the downside is if your after hotel swimming i don't think you will enjoy the pool. that area - swimming pool needs really immediate renovation.

A reliable hotel that offers great value for money”

Apo View Hotel has everything I need when I need a staycation within the city. I'm from Davao City myself so I don't want to splurge on a hotel staycation somewhere that's in my backyard, so to speak. Apo View is my favorite place to staycation at because it has all the basic amenities, is in a great location right in the heart of downtown Davao, and the staff is super nice.

Nice affordable hotel with good location”

Our stay at Apo view hotel is very comfortable one. The hotel is conveniently located at the heart of the city and is very near commercial areas. The breakfast they served is very delicious though there were only 2-3 variety of fruits to choose from. Their servers and hotel crews are very polite and accommodating. We love the spacious rooms, the only problem is that our bathroom does not have a divider in the shower area which results to water flooding whenever we use the shower. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the hotel.

Our stay at Apo View was without drama. A clean and friendly establishment with attentive and accommodating staff. Value for money, but as an older establishment does not provide all the bells and whistles of a new 5 star development. The rooms were of generous proportions, the beds comfortable, the air conditioning sufficient but the accouterments scarce. Water supply was plentiful, but was very slow in reaching the required temperature for an enjoyable shower. The meals offered were adequate, the cafe suitable, the bar well-stocked even though it doubles as a karaoke area which is not concomitant for a relaxing after dinner drink. The pool area was underutilized and suffered from an over supply of chlorine in the water making it very difficult to enjoy as it was dangerous for eye health. The attached Casino was small by nature with limited games available.... this did not have any impact on the security of friendliness of the hotel itself. The garden offed options for relaxatio

that honest waiter”

t'was a short stay as before. i stay in hotels despite relatives in the city. don't want to impose one them. in my hurry to get home to general santos city, i didn't know my credit cards fell off my pocket somehow. i was wearing a denim with what i now realize has shallow pockets(so beware!). luckily, i was in apo view hotel for a scientific sessions for two days. the honest waiter gave it to a colleague who phone me when i was miles away and nearing home. what a sigh of relief it was.

Beautiful hotel, lovely garden, great service ”

Our stay at Apo view is comfortable and fun. The hotel is clean, staff are friendly and accommodating, we love the garden,the rooms are comfortable. We had a business meeting, it turned out really well, the service is excellent, the price is reasonable. The buffet breakfast was delicious, there were many choices and we enjoyed it ! Even the alacart lunch we had on our last day was great! They accommodated the special menu we requested. Overall it was a pleasant stay and I will recommend this hotel to friends.

It's really nice to stay and great privilege with free wifi service and swimming pool. Their staff are cooperative and rendered an excellent service during my stay. How I wish to visit Davao City once again and stay in Apo View Hotel.

Great location, reliable quality as Davao's oldest hotel”

The Apo View Hotel has achieved icon status among hotels in Davao simply because it is the oldest. It continues to live up to its standard though, with nice rooms and relatively well-kept facilities. I got my room for cheaper than its normal rate, which made my stay even better.

Ideal location”

The Apo View was perfect for it's location. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The room was good and the food and service excellent. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here, and will definatley use The Apo View again, should the need arise. Have no hesitation in reccommended this hotel.

Still the nice but old reliable hotel.”

Age is a give for Apo View Hotel. Its synonymous to the old Davao. The hotel has retained its elegance but their rooms really need facelifts. The mable countertop has looked so dull over time and the bathtub in my room had peeling enamel. The water running thru its showerhead is COLD even when its knob is already in the HOT side. The drain cover in its tub is missing. Rooms are bigger compared to other hotels. Its a plus .Furniture needed an upgrade. Breakfast is good. Its in the old district of Davao but its close to everything - restaurants, massage, church and a public park. I was wondering what part of the hotel then was its defunct but very famous club scene, the Penec Bar.

Nice Hotel with Friendly and Polite Staff”

Great location in Davao, with all the necessary amenities and excellent service from a friendly staff. We stayed 4 days and found the Apo View lived up to its hype. Rooms were very comfortable, clean and all staff were very helpful.

Comfy stay in the heart of davao city”

First time in apo view, their staffs were very friendly and accomodating. Hotel looks dated, particulatly the swimming pool area may need renovation. Otherwise my hotel room stay was very comfy. Food was great but prices for in room dining was steep

I totally enjoyed my stay in apo View, althought the hotel was full because of the city's festivities, my check-in was a breeze, and best of all i was upgraded to a suite! Couldn't ask for more, my room has two rooms ones with a kitchenette, dining& living areas. And the bedroom was huge with complete facilities

went to davao on a business trip and checked in at the apo view hotel.. booked the supreme room and got the value of my money.. the room is clean and staff are immensely courteous..we enjoyed their buffet breakfast, so many delicious food to choose from

excellent services except internet connection”

Apo View Hotel caters excellent services. The staff are courteous, friendly and approachable. The food is very OK. My only concern is the WiFi internet connection. For a traveler like me who is based in abroad, internet connection is a necessity as a means of communication.

an error was made in my booking; the staff of Apo View were very helpful in correcting the issue. Cant say the same for Agoda, but i will still use Agoda for future booking. it did cost me a little extra to change the booking and Apo View offset some of the cost with some reduced meal costs and free use of the business center during my stay.

everything is excellent. I guess the negative comment I can only say is that they are strict in check in time which is 2PM. I hope they can reconsider guests that even came from far places. We waited for 2 hrs just to check in. But overall, I will still recommend APO VIEW HOTEL. :)

The housekeeping staff led by Mr.Dennis returned my passport and my son’s.We neglected to put it away at check out but they found it and returned it.Wonderful people!Bathrobes and built in dryers should be put in every room though.Front desk people are polite .We will be returning here on our next Davao stay.Five stars for you Apo View.Thank you.

Friendly staff, and comfortable bed”

I stayed with my dad and sister in Apo View for 8 days. The breakfast buffet was good, with a nice selection of food to start the day. They also had bacon! Haha. The best about Apo View were the staff. They were very friendly and took care of what we needed. The only downside is the cleanliness of the pool, and lack of gym amenities, but overall, it was worth our money!
