We loved Thanh Binh Riverside. The room way spacious, clean and so comfortable. I got sick in Hoi An, and I couldn't have had a better place to relax and recover. The location was fantastic, a short walking to the old town. The breakfast was good, and the pool was a nice way to relax after a busy day in Hoi An. The staff were friendly, and Rose was very helpful. The only thing is, I would recommend booking your own tours/ private drivers through trip advisor or something similar. We had a really bad experience with the private driver that the hotel booked for us. And it was very expensive. But otherwise we would definitely Recommend Thanh Binh Riverside!

Luxurious and comfortable”
We were pleasantly surprised by the comfort level of the hotel upon check-in. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had arrived in Hoi An from a few days' trekking in Sapa, and due to plane delay, we were stuck in Hanoi for a few hours without a room to rest in. Hence, we were very tired when we arrived in Hoi An, and we were so glad that we chose Thanh Binh Riverside Hotel for our stay in Hoi An! The location was convenient, being near to the main hub of activity within a 5min walk. I definitely wish to stay there again if I visit Hoi An again!

Thanh Binh style”
We had been recommended this hotel by friends who live in Ho Chi Minh and have been to Hoi An a few times staying at Thanh Binh. You couldn't fault the place. The breakfast caters for everyone and the range is huge, unlike other places where there is often not a lot of choice. The hotel organised our taxi to and from the airport which was really handy so we knew we were paying the right price. The lovely village is just across the road with all the shopping you could want. Scooter and bicycles are just outside the Hotel and they have a good connection with the hotel so you can just leave keys, bike and everything with the hotel staff who are waiting outside to help with bags etc. The room we had did not have a view but we did go for the cheaper room, next time I would pay a bit more for a nicer room with a view. It would have been good to have a few items in the room like an iron and a bit more crockery but that's just being picky. Unfortunately, when we arrived it was somewhat rainy so we did not get to use the pool area and bar which looked very inviting. However, overall we would recommend this place and if we ever venture to Hoi An this would be our choice for accommodation again. I left my phone case behind with my credit cards etc. inside and received a phone call from the hotel staff sooner after leave. They contacted the taxi driver on our way to the airport. So the service is definitely top notch.

Fantastic hotel, Great Location”
Really enjoyed our stay at the Thah Binh Riverside Hotel. Close to shops and restaurants which we walked to every day. This section of the river comes alive at night and it is lovely to walk to all the restaurants with their colourful lanterns. We had a riverview room which overlooked the pool which was really lovely and the fresh fruit daily was a nice touch. I had previously read a review complaining about the breakfast dishes, but was pleasantly surprised by the options and the range. We would certainly go back again if I was in Hoi An.

Fantastic new hotel in perfect location”
Really enjoyed ours stay at the Thanh Binh Riverside. The rooms were really spacious, clean, very comfortable beds, lovely balconies, great breakfast and easy walking distance to the Ancient Town and just across the bridge to An Hoi island. Great pool and bar area where meals are also available. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the only thing I would suggest could be improved is the spa which appears to be a temporary, tacked on arrangement and not a great atmosphere to relax in.

Relation in the midst of a vibrant location ”
The Thanh Binh Riverside Hotel is now our destination of choice in Southeast Asia. The staff are unfailingly polite, informed, genuinely friendly and smiling. We were right near the Ancient town and walked to all areas of the town and rented cycles right outside the door for adventures further afield. Recommend you book in advance and pay a bit more and get a room with pool/river view, as opposed to garden view. Thank you to staff again.

We enjoyed our stay in Thanh Binh Riverside Hotel. Staff was very friendly (although sleeping behind the counter at night time which made a slightly unsafe feeling). Pool was very cool and pool bar nice. Good service. We stayed in very comfy deluxe room with river (and pool) view. Hotel is close by the old town, restaurants and spas. Would stay here again!

New hotel in a good location in the old town”
The Thanh Binh Riverside Hotel is a well located hotel in the old quarter of Hoi An, it has one of the best swimming pools I have came across in Vietnam,and it can get very hot in the old quarter.breakfast was varied and tasty, the rooms are well appointed and new. The staff courteous and helpful. It is only a five minute walk to the bars and restuarants . I would recommend this hotel.

Great location”
We stayed at the hotel in October and found everything to our expectation. We had read that there were noise problems from construction next door and across the river, but an email request to the hotel had us located at the farthest end from the problem, so it was only evident during the day in the pool area. The staff were only to eager to please, brrakfast selection was sufficient to satisfy. The hotel is located a 3 minute walk from the old town and the same to the area containing unlimited Spa facilities (It looked as though the hotel was in the process of opening it's own). We would return visit to Thanh Binh.

Great Hotel”
We enjoyed our stay at Thanh Binh. The staff welcomed us and were very accommodating in changing our room to a riverside view with large bed. There is nice patio and pool with a bar and spa. The breakfast buffet with choices to suit the taste buds of everyone. The ancient city was very close. Our room was quiet and clean. We spent two night here, went to Hue and then came back for two more days because we knew we would be comfortable here.

An really outstanding hotel!”
We stayed at the Riverside for three nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had a superb spacious room (overlooking the pool & river) with balcony and the cleanliness it the hotel and its courteous, friendly staff are second to none. Also the meals we had at the hotel were excellent - with a wide range of food for breakfast that would cater for all taste. We would highly recommend this hotel to any travellers staying at Hoi An - excellent value!

Thoughtful staff, huge rooms”
We stayed here after leaving a villa property too far out of town. Stayed here for two nights. On our 1st (early) morning here we went out to take wedding photos in the old town - which is nearby the hotel. The reception staff must have noticed and sent a message to housekeeping. When we returned some hours later we found a lovely display of swans and flower petals along with a very kind note wishing us to enjoy our stay. The rooms are huge and very comfortable. Big bathroom with a tub that fits two (or more!?!) plus a great separate shower. Breakfast buffet offered a great selection of Asian and western dishes. Plus a great swimming pool. Big! Hoi An is a beautiful city and this hotel is a great place to stay while you visit. Excellent value for money. We will be back to this lovely town and this excellent hotel.

no second chance”
It was a 4 days, 3 night stay at thbg binh riverside. Me and my partner enjoyed ourselves. The hotel is well placed within the old town yet well distanced from the buzz which provided the much needed serenity for a getaway. It is situated along the river and about 5mins away from the buzz. bicycle rental, walking and vespa rental is the main mode of transport. the room is very large and well equipped wih bath robe and bath tub. customer service is also expected like all vietnam standard. The only issues i experience is there was a short blackout in the whole hotel while i was showering but a call to the receiption understand that it impact the entire town and it is a rare occurrence. the another issue is that you might want to stock up for supper as i dont recall seeing a room service menu in the room. Though the standard mini bar items are there. Overall, i will be there again in both hoi an and this hotel!

Really nice hotel with amazing pool and great loca”
The hotel is new, i was in Hoi An about same time last year when this hotel was being built. By arrival, the receptionist recognised me and greeting me with my name! Perhaps because we was the only Vietnamese group in the hotel. The room is spacious with lovely bath tub and balcony. Breakfast was highlight, a lot of good choice with Phở and egg station. One of a few hotel that served poached eggs i've ever been to. Great location! 5 mins walk to Japanese bridge and a lots of restaurants and bars with in walking distance too. The best thing would be the swimming pool. Simply amazing, beautiful pool with great atmosphere, nice pool bar too! Things i dislike: Nice bathroom facility but the shower was weak. Another thing is lack of chair at the balcony eventhough it was quite big balcony with great pool and canal view. I noticed many guests brought the chair from the room to balcony and it wasnot convenient at all! Finally, please do not fold the towels into swan and put on the bed. It looks cheap and waste of time too. I love the hotel and i already recommended to my friend and definitely comeback.

Location location location”
The location of this hotel is wonderful for someone who wants to experience Hoi An old town. It is only a 5 minute walk to the shopping district. It is right on the river that runs through Hoi An, so you're also very close to a lot of the river cruises that are available. It can get a bit noisy since there are many bars just across the river, but it's not bad at all. The pool is nice. It is a good size and there is plenty of lounge chairs around it, some shaded and some in the sun. The balcony in the room had a wonderful view and had seating for a good relaxing evening. The overhang stopped most of the rain, so we were able to sit outside even while it was raining very heavily. Breakfast was the only thing that was a bit lacking in the hotel. The food was decent quality, but they did not have enough selection for the amount of space they had. They also did not vary the food much from day to day. We would definitely return to the hotel.

Spacious rooms, relaxing decor”
The hotel is a very short walk from Hoi An old town. The rooms are new and beautifully decorated. There are some tiny bugs that could be ironed out - like maybe more shelving in the bathroom - but these are negligible. The staff are very relaxed and its impossible not to catch their vibe. When I said I was going diving and needed a towel, they waved at the pool towels and said 'sure, help yourself'. Late 1pm checkout? No problem. Breakfast buffet has a decent choice of western and Asian foods. The pool is gorgeous and the water is quite warm, although the weather was so hot when I was there I didn't use it much. I liked the cocoon sun loungers though. If you need drivers or tour advice, ask at the front desk. Their prices are probably cheaper than what I organised from private operators and they're not pushy, so best to make enquiries if you're interested. All in all, I had a thoroughly enjoyable one-week stay and wouldn't hesitate to go back.

DID NOT DISAPPOINT - AGAIN”
Returning to Hoi An and again booking this Hotel - did not disappoint any of our group of 6, and we are all 50 years +. Rooms - spacious, clean, tidy and rooms with a balcony have added space. Beds and Pillows Comfortable. Food / breakfast: no complaints here either. Staff: excellent english, willing to assist in any way possible, Room Staff are 100% trustworthy and have a wonderful attitude and always a smile. If I had to pick a fault: hot water a little slow to heat in showers. Taxi's on hand in a couple of minutes, push bikes available, walking distance to ancient town and far enough away for quiet evenings. Pool - always sparking and clean as well. You will find cheaper accommodation in town, but this hotel is one of a handful that provides everything that you may need: location, location; comfort; good food; trustworthy; and a room with plenty of space !
