Nice hotel but needs improvement”
We stayed at Tecco do son in a family room. It was a nice hotel and close to the beach (5min walk) and close to the hilltop walk way Da Lat, there is a roughly $1.5 (30000 VND) entrance fee. At the hilltop there is a small amusement park and a mini zoo. There are many Vietnamese families visiting this area. Tecco do son is a little distant to the Do son beach where it is busier, wider beach, and more restaurants. Some good things about Tecco do son -Close to the quiet,small beach -Nice continental breakfast -Great price for the hotel -Nice ocean view Improvements needed -The receptionist do not speak English (only the concierge person or manager) and are cranky due to language barrier, but other staffs were very kind and friendly -No beach towels -One of the bed sheet had stains -2 bathrooms are put side to side with one semitransparent glass as partition -Paying in USD is rough as current currency rate is not applied. Better to check the price in USD and pay at the fixed price.

Good hotel, not quite finished yet though.”
Our stay here was pleasant even if the resort and hotel facilities are still being worked on. Soon this will be a great place to visit with children as the local waterpark is being refurbished and will be opening soon. The waterpark is only about 300 meters away and is massive, such a shame it was shut whilst we were there. The hotel is nice and the staff were friendly, just be warned they are not fluent in English so you may have a few slight misunderstandings on your stay but these are easy enough to iron out.

Absolutely horrifying!”
Arrived to a big concrete holiday complex, half-done buildings everywhere. Also our hotel was only half ready- builders in our corridore, dust and hammering. Still, the hotel is clearly not brand new, it feels like it was built but never finished. The beach water filled with filth and garbage. The food was just almost nothing to eat as vegatarian. When checking out they said one glass was misssing from the room (!) Told them to check our bags if they did not believe us...anyway it ended that we had to pay for a glass missing. It felt like otherwise the reception staff would get beaten up. The whole place is extremely bad managed, you could feel it in every aspect of the hotel. Feel sorry for the staff, very nice and friendly but obviously very poorly managed. They helped us get a taxi to a pier and really did that well. All in all, a very spooky, concrete nightmare. We did not think this places still existed in Vietnam but they do!!!very much so...

DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL ”
This hotel is too far out of the way. Read down the comments you will realise another traveller gave a bad review about location. It's the same for me too and I'm glad that it's an honest review. Hotel has non refundable cancellation policy so why book when we have many other better choices? Speaking from someone who's just returned from Vietnam and an authentic personal recount. Choose other hotels. For the money I wasted to book another hotel just to be safe and this hotel not allowing cancellation fees refunded due to hotel inaccessibility shows too much.

Too noisy”
They are on the construction so it is very noisy. The worker worked, drilled up-stair in the early morning of Sunday. So we cannot sleep. I contacted receptionist but they did not stop. I don't want to pay for a 4 star hotel which I cannot sleep in the early morning. It is ridiculous.
