Excellent place to stay for family”

Awesome place with beautiful en-suite rooms. Love the location ! U can constantly hear the waves crashing to the shore from all the rooms and the living room. Love the layout of the condo. And it’s so near to Georgetown. Easy access to Penang’s Nasi kandar, Asam Laksa,, char kuay teow and cendol ( rm 10-11 by Grab ) . Just rm 5 ( via Grab ) from Tanjung Point residence to Straits Quay which is another awesome place by the beach. I am totally amazed with Tanjung Point Residences. Absolutely love the place. ❤️❤️ ... Would recommend

One of the best and value for money”

First of all, I hope they can keep maintaining the place. My wife and I, we travel with our 5 kids, ages from 6 to 14 years all. The apartment we got at Tanjung Point Residences had 3 rooms and 3 bathrooms, ample living space, gorgeous sea view. The apartment was clean. Everything worked. Ample parking space. The staffs are very courteous. The facilities like swimming pool, gym and playground are well kept. It really felt like home. Highly recommended for those travelling with kids.

Love it, already my 2nd trip within a month”

Stay for 2 nights in Tanjung Point Residences. Me and my family love this condominium so much because of the sea view. The unit is spacious and come with complete amenities. During my 1st night of stay, they faced a power supply disruption and the front office took an immediate action to transfer us to the other unit with same size on the different floor. Definitely worth it for big family.

My Family Just Love It!”

Plus points :- 1) Newly built, so all facilities still in superb condition. 2) Clean rooms & comfy beds with all rooms having sea view. 3) Three bathrooms (unlike other 3-bedroom apartments normally have only 2 bathrooms) 4) Price is very reasonable. 5) Infinity pool, kids pool, jacuzzi & children playground. 6) There's access to the public beach. 7) Ample parking lots. 8) Good facilities provided in the apartment i.e. microwave & iron on top of normal facilities. Minus points :- 1) No Qiblat sign for Muslims to pray (but the staff was very helpful to show us the direction). 2) RM300 deposit to be paid upon check-in is quite high. 3) Early check-out i.e. by 11.00 a.m. We had a great stay & will definitely come again :-)

Service Need to improve”

We stayed in the apartment for 5 days and 4 nights. Was informed on the second day that there is no new tower or water because Tanjung Point is not a hotel. Unless we stay for seven days or more, then we can change our tower for one time. We are absolutely disappointed for the management policy. I can't imagine any tourist or traveler will bring 3-4 towers for his/her trip. Besides this, the apartment's door is not sound prove at all. We can hear the noises from outside clearly. Does who stay near the main road will have a difficult time. The apartments are new and comfortable. There is no restaurant or eating place or mini-mark/shop in the apartment yet. Lots of improvement to be made.

Since this property is still new hence all the furnitures in the room are still new even the water in the bathroom smells a bit weird (probably from the new piping) but I don't really mind about that. Everything was great, swimming pool is nice and the view from our room is superb (sea view and its amazing). The only downside is that they does not provide breakfast probably because it is a new building so they dont have that amenities yet. You have to eat somewhere nearby. If you own a transport it would be easy for you, if not you might have some problem to find where to eat. Anyway, I will definitely going to stay here again if I'm back in Penang. Recommended!

Superb hospitality, great service, nice rooms, but ants?? ”

When we reached, we're greeted with warm welcome by the guard and the receptionist alike. The best thing is, we even got free upgrades to room with sea view and balcony upon request. The moment when we opened the door is just awesome. Room is as what depicted in the photos with superb sea view. It is not until we discovered a whole army of red, red ants nearby the sink that we realised the cleanliness sucks. And night those ants even appeared on our bed and we got bitten on our hands. The crew was nice enough to provide us one whole bottle of insecticide to ward off the ants. Hope they will deal with this sooner rather than later so there'll be no more victims for this horrendous red ants. Overall, apart from the ants, it was a pleasant stay here.

This place was flawless ....we enjoy the moment we arrived until we left....we loved the beautiful views from balconies....the room was spacious,clean, well design & comfy ...100 %percent recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a fantastic stay in Penang.

Value for money but please reconfigure the lift”

The unit is good, all still new. The con of this place is the lift, you cant access the car park without going to the lobby and then take service/staff lift to go to car park. The 2 lift that service the residence floor actually go thorough the car park, just that is is disabled. If it is because of security, all lift is lock using access card so I don't understand the logic. We were not suppose to make the small lobby crowded especially during this pandemic.

Nice sea-view catching from the room and living room. They do have provide the mini fridge and it helps me a lot when I wish to store the frozen food and beverage. Vehicle parking are sufficient and don’t have to worry. But one more thing they have to improve is they didn’t answered my calls when I need more information. I have called so many times and they only picked up the call once. I wish they can have a quick responsiveness towards they guest. Thank you for offering me a nice hotel.

Staff were very friendly and went out of their way to accommodate us throughout our stay. They could not change our towels to new ones but instead gave us swimming pool towels. Beautiful and spacious room with a fantastic view of the ocean. The photo on Agoda was a little misleading as it showed the room we booked had a balcony but that was not a problem for us. The pool and the pool area was beautifully designed with the breeze blowing in from the ocean. Location-wise it’s perfect if you want to explore Batu Ferringhi and Georgetown as it’s located smack in the middle of the two locations.

WORTH THE MONEY! ”

We love this place. Nice decors. Nice view. We felt so comfortable to stay at this residences. However, we are terrified from the Charlie ants. There were quite some amount during the night time. We wouldn’t dare to hangout long in the living room.

Clean and spacious , Good location, Value for money”

We enjoyed our stay so much, we extended one more day. Direct access to beach, 5 mins drive to tesco and other food options. Room was clean and spacious, seaview was fantastic. Car parking was sufficient . We will definitely be back . One feedback , to have a tap by the gate to the beach so that guests can wash off sand before entering back to hotel premises. Good service at reception too.

Value for money as the apartment very spacious and clean 👍🏻 really satisfied with the accommodation... Maybe 1 thing need to improve in term of facilities which is the lift service... We have to wait long to take turn to use lift going down and up in the residences...

Nice place - View, Location & Facilities”

Booked the 2 bedroom apartment - the place is well maintained with cosy interior (iron, basic toiletries, microwave, fridge and stove are provided). The view is amazing - unobstructed view of the sea (balcony is so wide, all room have direct access to the balcony. It was a pleasant stay - comfortable enough for 4-5 adults. Only the check in process can be improve, all guests IC are required upon check in with RM300 deposit - quite a hassle for me. Parking is free and so convenient. The infinity pool is awesome.

BEST STAY EVER”

This place deserves a lottt of points for everything! We took the 3 room apartment for our fam's getaway. It's marvelous! My mom and dad totally love everything. The beach is only one step away and not too crowded compared to Batu Feringghi. We really enjoy our stay! Kudos to the staff for making our stay great too!

All Good Except...”

Basically we love this hotel, in terms of the location, view from room, facilities are all good, except for the professionalism of the staff. It happened in the morning when I was still lazing on my bed, and suddenly there was a man ringing the door bell. Before I got down from the bed to open the door, the man has already entered my room. Soon he realized that he has entered the wrong room and immediately he left. After awhile the receptionist called up for an apology that the technician went to the wrong room to fix the TV, which we couldn't accept the reason. He should have at least waited for a moment and make sure nobody open the door before he comes in. It's so dangerous if a single lady was inside or I was changing half way. Hope the management can take note on this and avoid the same thing from happening in future.
