An affordable and wonderful hotel with accommodating and hospitable owner!”
We weren't able to catch the only fast craft bound for Puerto Galera as there was only 1 trip at that time (we knew there were 2, the sched posted on Island Water's page was not updated) so make sure to double check everything before your trip. Luckily, the owner was so kind enough to fetch us at Calapan port for only 200 pesos per person which was 1 1/2 hour drive to Puerto Galera and accommodating enough to drop us off at Tamaraw waterfalls and Muelle to take pictures en route. The hotel is beautiful & homey, and has its own private beach & huge 5-6 ft. infinity swimming pool. The room is also huge for 3 persons but no hot shower. The hotel closes at 9 P.M. tho I'm not sure if that's because it's in February 2022 where the Omicron cases spiked which limited the acitivities? I hope they'd serve cocktails in their resto so that we don't need to go to White beach to drink and chill. The free breakfast was ok, I recommend getting the Tamaraw rice and Bangus.

We definitely enjoyed our time in this resort to the point of skipping island hopping and opt for the land tour only. The management was very helpful, they offered free transportation from port and back. Special shout out to their company driver, super kind! The breakfast was really good! The room was clean except for the water system. There's water in the shower and they provided us bucket and dipper, but no water in the sink and flush, in the morning and had to call them for that.

Great location if you like peace and quiet”
We enjoyed our stay here in Tamaraw Beach Resort. It has its own beach front which is nice too if you don't like the crowd in white beach.. And White beach is also very accessible from Tamaraw, you just have to walk past big rocks 🤣 or ride a tricycle for 100pesos per way. We preferred to walk. The rooms are also good, there is hot/cold shower, bidet. soap and towels provided too. It is very peaceful at night and even there are other guests while we're there you won't feel very crowded, you can still enjoy the beach or pool far from other people. The only con I can say is that the food from the restaurant is very average, we preferred to eat at White Beach instead. Another pro is that they also offee free shuttle from and to Balatero port. ALL IN ALL I WILL STILL RECOMMEND TAMARAW BEACH RESORT, AND I WOULD GO BACK IF GIVEN THE CHANCE..

I dont usually give reviews on places i visit but this place was worth spending my time and money. Place is 10mins away from balatero port and they offer free ride to and from the port. Very accesible to white beach, and nearby stores. Food , accomodation, facilities are excellent. The only thing i can suggest to improve is..the receptionists should at least try to smile and be welcoming. "Good morning, maam. Welcome to our resort." or "Thank you for choosing our resort. I hope u liked ur stay with us. Hope to see u again." wouldn't hurt a bit 😉 But definitely would recommend to family and friends!

I do not always write reviews for Agoda. But for TBR I would go the extra mile, such is the quality and value of this resort. The staff are always so accommodating and the beach always clean and scenic. Perfect for quick getaway from Luzon.

Excellent place for small family”
It was a nice experience for us. Only there are insensitive youngsters who keep on vaping and smoking on the public pool and the beach side. Also, there's this small group of girls beside our room who had their music too loud for the night. The hotel staff did not do anything about this. But all in all, it was a great experience for us.

Too good for too many ...”
We actually did not want to say too much about Tamaraw, because we want to keep it all for ourselves and we are afraid large crowds would ruin its pristine beauty. But then again we do not want the wonderful staff there to suffer because of our selfish intentions. So enjoy one and all the beauty of Aninuan beach!

Had a great stay for 3D2N. We have been here before, but still– Tamaraw Beach Resort never disappoint. All of the staff are friendly and approachable. Location is what I like best because they have their own beachfront and a pool. And it is just a few steps away from White Beach.

Everything in my room was working. Staff from transfer in/out driver to front desk to housekeeping were all polite and willing to help. The location of this hotel is perfect for people who want to avoid the crowd of white beach. Will definitely return! 💯

You need to bring an extra cash, ATM Machine located at the white beach is not functioning. If you need to withdraw, you have to go to Muelle which is a little bit far from Aninuan.

Beautiful beachfront”
We stayed here as a group.. With expat friends. The place is comfortable and clean. Very nice beachfront view and a good pool to dip in. They have very limited food choices but its fine. We availed their island hopping for 3k and it was amazing!

Absolutely worth it!”
For me Tamaraw Beach Resort is a must stay that have it’s own private beach front. And it’s accessible to the long white beach where you can find bars and restaurants, trust me, you want to go to white beach but you don’t want to stay in there. Better stay in Tamaraw Beach Resort for its reasonable price and privacy as you would needed for relaxation. Will definitely be back here. Not to mention the breakfast is yummy.
